There was something so priceless on Sorin's face when he removed the heat sink and didn't see any graphics chip in it's usual spot!! I couldn't stop laughing when he said ,"What kind of a scam is this?" Sorin is absolutely the best! Love this channel.

Hi Sorin thanks for share your videos.. here in Italy the quarantine is soo boring.. see your videos make me happy.. you teach us many tricks about fix notebooks or always things about electronics but but in the meantime you talk about all things that happen in England and around the world.. here in Italy the situation is really serious, almost 15 days ago I only saw these things in China now I am seeing them here .. and I see the other Nations that are making the same mistake that we have made .. underestimating COVID-19

Vega is AMD's Ryzen integrated GPUs , the equivalent of Intel's HD Graphics.

for this laptop , its probably vega 8 and its indeed an integrated gpu

Thermal cameras are expensive than petrol. Mostly you dont need a thermal camera WHEN you know what you are doing bro.

Thanks for one more nice video! Just one question to ask... You removed a shorted cap from there and you didn't replace it with a new same value. How are you sure the circuit still don't have a problem that caused that failure and how do you know that the specific circuit will work e.g wifi card?

very good video. vega GPU is built into the CPU die package. They are pretty good graphics cards.
The thermal camera is just a tool helping us to find a component getting hot quickly but it is not mondatory because we can working properly withouth it thanks

Hey Sorin. Guess it's quiet with no repairs now. May I suggest you dust off some of your too difficult too repair motherboards and do a review video explaining what you checked and why you stopped short of fixing them. You never know, you may fix 1or2.

Not only a money problem. Sysem has to let the scientist do the scientist, so they do not do other works to maintain themselves.
@@nikkam3176 My wife works in healthcare and I know very well how poorly they are paid, and there are so many responsibilities and scientists are at the same level.
@@mizoo87 Im physician. there wont be a big difference if i earn 2000 or 4000, i will work the same way. But it is true, i get payed like a worker in a factory. the main problem i think is the fact they treat you like a slave. if you work good they give you to follow 1000 patients, if you work verry good they will give you 1500 patients. They try to get from you the maximun, so they do not pay for another physician. But what happens if the overall patients dubbles. you cant follow 3000 patients. thats how it work, less flexibility. they do not want to form more doctors, but use the same they have and make them work harder.

Hi sorin I hope you are well. I’m stuck on a project for a car. How can I measure if a signal wire from a potentiometer. The problem here is it is for the accelerator peddle. The car starts and runs fine but no acceleration. I have 2 signal wires one to detect it is in the home position and the other wire detects how fast the peddle move. Can you help me figure this out.
