One of my favourite things about this piece, is that you can hear the soul of the pianist in each rendition. Each person plays it differently, even if ever so slightly. And even when it's the same person but a different piano, you can hear the piece change as well. It's as if this song brings out the soul from both the Piano and the Pianist
So I return to this rendition again, after several months, and STILL I find it genius. What really enchants me is the WILL of this fragile girl, who not only masters this nefariously challenging piece, but does it because she FEELS the magnificent music, the STORY 'behind" the notes (ie., this is not just an etude, where you show how fast you can play a sequence of notes - you see the leaden-silver-gray, enormously rolling, dangerous and majestic waves of the ocean during storm, the debris of a broken ship, the rising sun on the horizon that will bath the quieting water after the storm with golden light, ---), and she so much wants to SHARE it. And she does!
came to just listen to this piece once more but this performance actually gave me goosebumps! i usually never comment on videos but this is just awesome
What a cracker! You can hear every note which isn't always the case with other notable renderings. She's hit the spot!! Bravo!😄 Clearly one to watch. A real God-given talent - may he bless her as she uses and develops it. Thanks again!🙏
Brava! This piece is played with such skill and mastery! The strength that is required to perform the Ocean Etude is undeniable. Absolutely beautiful performance ! ❤
Can't wait to see what my own style of playing this piece is. I appreciate the way you emphasize parts of the piece rather than speeding through it. Will likely do that myself too.
Wow the energy and power of the piece you are giving to every cell because that’s my life push music when I feel down in my life this music picked me up and I love to hear strong play 🙏🙏🙏❤️😘
Your videos are so wonderful. I love the rooms like this one and the room with the two pianos. Modest and an elegant allure. Can you say where this is? Is it a conservatory?
Thank you so much! This video is from the House of composers' hall. Video with the etude op. 42 No 5 by Scriabin was made in the hall of Sheremetiev Palace in St. Petersburg.
@@Aelitapiano thank you so much, I hope you will have time to shoot more videos in venues like this in Russia. I hope to attend one of your fine conservatories one day!
I finally was able to play this piece! I didn't have as much control as you and would like to improve my tempo and accenting, but I have no technique as I'm self taught. Here's my cover: ruclips.net/video/ehEaZYToS_c/видео.html

Indomitable power of all the oceans in such a slim lady. Your recording is among the BEST about this piece.
Yes, the more I listen to this, the more I like it.

Best performance on YT so far
Впервые встречаю такую эмоциональную игру: каждая нота прослушана, вертикаль выстроена, фраза свободна и поэтична. Браво!
I love how you play the last part.. in some interpretation the end sounds like a wreckage with notes colliding, but you mastered it. Very noice.
Wonderful!!! Chopin himself!! ❤️
This overwhelmingly powerful performance is a paramount present to her performance lovers
My emotion is unfathomable depths
