Although I did the values in option of vray5 as you show in this video, I couldn't manage the noise from refraction.... Could you let me know how to remove the noise from refraction and specular? Naved I'm trying to find this version. But right now I don't have access to this version. I will suggest to update Vray version. It has a lot more advantages.

I am using v ray 5.00.22 , in that render settings secondary bounce "Light cache " is showing but in next tab " brute force GI "not showing , when i am changing Light cache to brute force then " brute force GI " tab is showing. could you please explain me.
This is beautiful video.
In V-Ray 5 Brute Force is ON by default for primary bounce and you can't change it.
So if for some strange reason it's not showing I think you can safely ignore it.

Plus if you like just do a simple test and check that light is reaching places that are not directly facing light.

Hello, Your tutorial is very helpful. I've followed every step according to the tutorial. Everything worked fine. But when I change the resolution to 2k or 4k, It doesn't render showing an error "No vray light is found" (I'm using Maya 2023, Vray 6). I cannot render 4k. Yes. Denoiser is not available in this old version. I'll highly recommend to update your VRay version.
Use VRay 5 or VRay NEXT (version 4). These versions are better than version 3

By light blocker and reflector you mean photography techniques?
Infact,in Arnold render there was filters for lights to add blocks n reflector for rendering effect for charector or portrait renders...but in vray i did not find options...
Ya,may be its photographic technics in rendering...
For blocking light. You can use any polygon object. Then press ctrl + A for attributes editor. After that in the shape tab (mesh node) go to render stats and turn off primary visibility.
The object will block light but it will appear in Render

Yes. If you have VRay 5 for Maya 2020. It will support.
But if you have VRay NEXT which was an older version. You can still follow this tutorial

Yes. But render video sequence. Means targa. Exr or png sequence. Then composite it in after effects

You don't need detail detail enhancement if you are using brute force method as primary bounce. Reason: brute force method automatically give detail enhancement result.
If you are use Irradiance map in older version then for animation you need to cache your Irradiance map. Else it can give flickering.

They have removed it from VRay 5.
Now we can only use AO in Render Element tab.

@@SWKTutorials I dont have Gi - Advanced menu, and also the point is not to use th AO in compositing. I saw in Environment/Override Environment/Show in viewport check / options menu
there is a node in attribute editor called vraysettings, i dont know but there i see a lot of vray settings, and there it says AO on(check button) and a lot of settings
