Yikes..! Considering this informative video is essentially a commercial for the product, within the short 8 minutes, there were three rounds of double ads. The double ads came in about every 2 min 30 sec and were longer than the content itself. One Microsoft ad was going to be about 20 min long, so I skipped that one. Now about the product itself, the dolly in and out movements are so subtle, I had to rewind the video to verify the camera was moving in (near the beginning). The chairs in the foreground were visually helpful, but the dolly in is too subtle and does not bring drama nor importance to the guitar performance. This device is highly sophisticated and probably the easiest way to get these types of shots. If Stan is reviewing, the price is important: $ 975. Might be worth the price.
Wanted a dana dolly but realised there’s be no way I could use as a one man band so decided to go with a syrp magic carpet pro, great unit - thanks for the vid!
Interesting to hear this! I have also used a Syrp magic carpet and I honestly wasn't too happy about it. I found the app reall buggy and also didn't like the proprietary batteries.

Ich habe im Studio einen Slider ohne Motor rumliegen. Leider habe ich den bisher sehr selten eingesetzt. Ohne gute Motorisierung ist ein Slider noch nicht sehr hilfreich. erst der Motor macht das ganze wirklich gut. Den Slider habe ich für wenig Geld bekommen, jetzt bn ich auf der Suche nach einem passenden Antrieb. irgendetwas ist ja immer.
Ohne Motor ist die Bedienung definitiv nicht so einfach, zumindest ist die Bewegung nicht so reibungslos! Aber es ist eine ziemliche Investition, also macht es nur Sinn, wenn du es wirklich für was benutzen kannst!
@@SightseeingStan Genau deshalb habe ich noch nichts weiteres gekauft. Es ist halt immer eine Frage von Nutzen und Kosten. Der Slider hier im Video ist natürlich toll, aber er kostet auch recht viele Dollar
