My brother gets the trade up to 5M and someone tries to beat him, I take the money and log out. The guy then said he felt bad because I took my brother's money too (obviously I didn't), and he gave 5M to my brother. This was 5 years ago, keep in mind, and I look back on it and feel super scummy about it, still makes for a funny story, though.

Got my karambit case hardended scammed, i posted a trade on cs:go lounge for anything really, and a guy messages me if i want to sell it for Paypal money, i was a bit excited because i was considering quitting cs:go and some cash would be really in handy, so we go through the procedures and he sends me a picture that can prove that he actually did transfer the money to my account, i was happy and kind of relieved that this guy was legit, and i traded him my knife as soon as i could so he doesn't think that i am scammer, trying to be a nice guy lol, what i didn't know that he could refund his payment because its an online payment, and he ended up with my knife and the money .... i sent steam over and over again messages so they can help me, providing them with proofs and screenshot, even that guy was stupid enough to keep my knife in his inventory for a whole month, sent them the original receipt and payment methods of me buying the knife from the market, still they were shit enough to not help me and thinking i am trying to duplicate items ..... i am a college student and i lost half of my monthly salary just like that, and for that reason i hate valve and steam so much, their games rock, but their community and customer services sucks ass ...
