    I'm looking forward to these changes. I agree these changes don't systemically change the flow and routes for character combos. I'm surprised Lily didn't get any changes. Raw Drive Rush and Drive Rush in general is so important to how the game plays. I think they may be struggling to balance it without affecting the entire roster. I think they rather not touch it and tweak individual characters. Either way, as you said this may not be the final build. Here's to hoping! Great video!

      Yeah for sure, there is no wayyy Lily remains exactly the same and no way Honda only got nerfs. Nobody plays them in tournament, they will get buffed I think. Im just hoping the drive rush spam gets nerfed. Easier to interupt, or no meter gain after drive rushing, or punish counter state…give us SOMETHING

    I like most of the changes. I'm fine with most of what the game is, although my biggest and only changes on wishlist were the ridiculous hitboxes some HPs have like Ken's and Ryu's, and also most importantly throw loops. Other than that, I don't mind the drive and drive rush systems, probably because I'm not in the ranks where it starts to get annoying yet, but I would've welcomed it why not.
    My hot take is that it probably doesn't need to change much but they'll have to add some new systems that counter it somehow and just add characters that don't rely on it entirely like is for A.K.I.'s case (even though she's fun as hell).

      Fair! Well, drive reversal is a tool you can use against drive rush cancels…it costs 2 bars, a drive rush cancel is 3 so that is a use…and if its a bit safer now, maybe it’ll be better…

      For me, FTG could split to 3 level
      lv1 : Learn how to use specials
      lv2 : Learn how to combo, leverage system mechanic
      lv3 : Learn how to play neutral
      When you reach lv3, you will find out raw drive rush save you lot of troubles
      Raw drive rush is a powerful neutral skip tool, especially for character like DJ, Jury, Ken, Jamie
      Drive rush behind fireball even more powerful than raw drive rush
      lv3 has lots of things to learn, for simplicity, I put everything we need to learn after lv2 as lv3

    Thank you very much for this video and analysis, but I wanted to ask about Chun Li, Hifight in his X account published that Back medium punch or fwd medium punch is nerfed also... is this correct or only lvl 2 and recovery in fireball H only? thank you so much

      Well, my info is second hand through Twitter so no one knows exactly. I wouldnt worry too much because the ones who actually played this build only got 10 minutes per person so we’re gonna end up with some stuff thats true, a couple things that arent and most things will remain unfound. Lets wait for the patch notes to be able to answer your question.
      The SA2 nerf seems a general nerf though, I’ll say that much. It seems that multiple characters with a utility super cant build meter while combo’ing/attacking to prevent them from building another level 2 within the same round (which in happy with, especially you rashid)

      Yeah they shouldnt nerf any one to the ground, just a bit here and there. JP already got his share last patch, I think he’s ok the way he is

      It depends on they want JP remain in the T0 or not
      I think S2 will have new public enemy(s?) to hunt down
      T0 always hated by everyone

    Agree 100% with you!
    In a third round when both players have a level 3, you can literally lose a match off a whiff punish… like you mentioned, Cammy does insane damage- I don’t it’s fair to lose after a simple spacing/timing error.
    Also, the damage scaling on a simple combo into super is too aggressive- if you’re using drive rush twice into a super, then fine scale that down because you’re getting tons of corner carry with that sequence, but something simple like (Ken) cross up mk, st hp, dp cancel into level 3 super scales down too much imo.
    Sorry if this makes little sense- I’m watching Dortmund vs PSG while typing this.. 😂

    I actually feel dumb that Honda is now getting nerfed. while I had trouble against him, pros were already beating Hondas

      Deku! Hope you’re doing well. I think Honda will get some buffs, he was clearly one of the worst characters and they made it worse, no way no way…starting to think this aint all..it cant be right…lily as well, unchanged, why on earth, shes a failure of a character and needs an overhaul, not a couple of small buffs

      I just hope I can play as good as the top players, I have been playing too much too the book maybe, I dunno what I was doing less or wrong.

      They nerf Honda to make it less overwhelmed for new players
      They may buff other aspects of Honda but nerf his buttslam and headbutt

    I wish they get rid of throw loops in general and nerf the overall damage of all chars, in addition to the damage nerfs of Deejay and all the damage monsters, of course.

      Haha fair. No i think sf6 has great gameplay aspects. Mostly the resource management of you and your opponent has great potency and characters having more tools. but they are somewhat overshadowed by the dominance of the universal mechanics. You can play 90% of the cast in a similar way and get master in a day. Theres very little room for individuality both within a character and among characters. I hope that will change. I did like sfv more yes, because those aspects were better, but sfv had big downsides as well (bad netcode, and very come back happy, plus a lot of characters had like 3 or 4 specials only)
      So yea, its subjective, every one likes other aspects in a game. We’ll see where the road will take us

    its really disappointing to me the state the game is in. Drive rush and parry is so overcentralizing its just not that fun to me and it's like they're scared of having some kind of neutral game play out. instead wanting everyone to be in a constant state of offense or defense. it also has some of the most baffling hitboxes or hurtboxes ive seen in a fighter. plenty of fighters have the odd hit/hurt box here and there either from an oversight or creating a weird but understandable situation from hurtbox shifting. But SF6 i think is the fighting game I've played where I most consistently see moves that look like they shouldn't connect, hit or vice versa, that they should hit and don't.

      Glad you found this video, I totally labeled it wrong when I put it out. People click it for the patch leaks and hear a guy pointing out it’s gonna suck…but its aging better by the day haha
      I agree the drive rush, raw and cancel) instantly force offense at any time…its cobstant guessing without a feeling that its earned…on the other hand on defense, constant access to od reversals, supers etc. Its a constant guess with huge ramifications and very little thinking/skill to execute it. Sigh.
      I feel old pointing this stuff out, because I remember old dudes like Sanford being disappointed with sfv even when it was at its peak saying sf4 was better and I was like…man you old, go play your old game hahaha

      @iZonkGaming2021 I'm fairly new to more traditional fighting games myself. Only a few years really invested in them recently. I was pretty excited for SF6 since I only tried V at the end of its life. But as I experienced more of it I was left more disappointed. I came back to try it again and see how the patch would adjust things. But whether you think the character adjustments are good or not, it didn't really do anything to address the meta of the game other than making parry a little easier to punish. And of course that means very little to the more volatile aspects of parry in the flow of the game.

      @derbear3403 i do think the meta changed for just pressing parry and hope it works out, the risk is much higher, you can see it, walk up and throw into a throw loop. But the general way of getting into offense is still…press the big green flashy button, press a single button, and now there is a true strike throw mixup that loops…and goes high low as well…and the defender just has to guess but also has a nuclear bomb om board for when he guesses right…yea its the general same meta, just a better refined version imo
