About the witches' hats in the river.
It's a pretty dark reference but in the middle ages they used to throw women suspected of being witches in a lake or something like that with a weight attached to them.
If the woman was able to survive it meant that God was by her side (most of the time it didn't happen), otherwise she would drown and considered a witch
Dang, this people are pretty stupid in that era. Why they don't try drowning themself and let God help them since they were not a "witch".
I don't think they would have any mind to think like that first.
Fun thing about what you said is that, in this specific scenery, the witches don't seem to have actually drowned, but were instead eletrocuted to death from all those lightnings. You can see there is a chair with some ropes attached to that device, so they were most likely kidnapped and tied there until they got zapped. ⚡⚡⚡
Did u know that in the American witch hunts and trials, when a woman presumed of being a witch was thrown into the water and drowned, she was then considered innocent. If they survived, then they were considered a witch. So there was no winning in their cases as the women that didn’t drown were still thought of as witches and were burned at the stake

I love the background sounds and music so much as well in Dark Ages scenery cuz it's also Dark theme which is perfect to play COC at night without excess brightness issues.... Btw nice review Seth Gaming ❤

IDK why but whenever I see *Magic Theater* scenery, my heart automatically becomes happy... When a fair is organized in the village, it looks like this... Typical Fair in Village vibes ✨💖
The music is amazing, I love the dark grass, and the detail is incredible. I think the magic theatre scenary tops it, but just barely. So I would say its the second best

For me, if u look at the bottom right of the village, the forest is dim and the village is more bright which is unnatural.But overall its an S tier scenery because it is huge and the music,the vibe the scenery is giving is awesome.

The dark ages skins aren't as appreciated as the champion/warrior ones, but they do have their own scenery.
This scenery + the 4 dark ages heroes =perfection

I really like the scenary, I just wish the inner part of the base would be a bit darker as well do give more night mode vibes since this scenary feels like a night time scenary so the grass should be kinda similar to the halloween ones
i am still a fan of shadow scenery :)

I also just wanted to say I appreciate how you cover these. As you said it can be very subjective. However, you are not unfair or overly critical which makes these fun to watch. You take a deep dive into the sceneries which is extremely helpful in me being able to choose wisely. You also point out lots of things that can easily be missed on the first or second look. I have gone back on sceneries I already own to look at stuff I didn’t know was there 😂. Great content and well done. Glad I subscribed a while back. I know there are know most people I know are not into sceneries but I am. It’s just fun and keeps the game fresh for me. I like the ability to change them periodically.

very insightful & thorough video as always! personally, i'm conflicted as to whether i should get this scenery or the tiger mountain one, as they're both similar, but the dark ages scenery costs more money because it's bundled with the statue, while the tiger mountain is sold for less seperately.
It’s well worth it believe me , i have all sceneries that set in night, this one is by far is the best , shadow scenery was the best in my opinion but sc has changed the original Ambience sounds effects playing in background which’s was so unique, so that’s a let down for me so I won’t rate it as good as this dark ages scenery

I’ve spent genuinely ages just admiring this scenery and there’s still new stuff I’m seeing for the first time. It’s got to be my favourite.
And the steak hanging over the fire is probably a play on words for burning at the stake, the punishment for witches and other criminal types in medieval times. Supercell likes to hide a fair few jokes in some sceneries.
The is a crop circle (7:14). Ppl think its alien made because of the intricacy and apparently some appear overnight

I think they should've made the forge campfire burning with lots of fire (like the fire pit), it matches the fire in the rest of the scenery.

Did you notice that they Updated the Dark Ages King model, and smoothened the back of his arms and legs? They just changed it yesterday, and I was very relieved. If you look at the video you posted (review), the back of his arms and legs are bumpy. Now, they look different in game!!🎉🎉🎉🎉

I kinda wish the champion skin was a gold pass skin. I instead used the shadow champion to fit the looks of the new scenery.

@@EmperorBl8 Tbh, for me, skins are not important for scenery, how the th and its theme are. I would personally rather use just set of skins or all different skins to be full chaotic. It's hard to have skins that match the scenery, but, well, if you have those, it's a pretty good bonus, u know. Winter skins could match night theme of this scenery too.
5:30 it's a puppet show. Also, "excalibur" is not "the sword in the stone" that's "caliburn" king arthur doesn't get excalibur until later. Also, how do you get this? I don't see it available for purchase, but i really really want it
Was available in April and the beginning of May. It might come back but not for at least 1 year.
at 6:23 cutted trees just there to show us where they got the woods for building those catapults, log launcher etc. I don't think there is a hidden meaning about that one.
at 6:45 I think that's the place where you burn witches. because in the dark age people burn witches and woman who suspected to be a witch.

I hate how expensive this scenery because supercell combine the bundle with a decoration and make it more expensive. I definitely buy ONLY scenery, not with the decoration because of how expensive it is.
