I do not face many night witch spammers, because they only work in specific conditions, maybe in lower level builderhall they work 100% of the time, but at builderhall 9-10 It falls off and will only work against certain bases. I think mass power pekka is a more fair comparition.
E Drag spam is far from the best attack. It’s just annoying when it’s the only thing your clan mates use in wars. And those clan mates have consistent 0-1 stars
so much this, i have literally never seen any lighting + e drag attack come close to a 3 star in war leagues what makes it more annoying is how i swear people who use it are a bit slow- they literally spend thirty or forty seconds zapping out a few buildings witch spam is a lot better anyways

I've also noticed that E drags are really bad when it comes to defense, because they attack really slow, and if a poison spell is dropped on it, it pretty much doesn't attack at all before going down

If not 3 star, I always 2 star ANY base regardless its air or ground. Strategy matters while using ED because if your attacked is not funneled properly, you're a sh*t ED player. Not everyone can play with ED. I'm maxed out TH15 btw. People who Zero star a base using ED, are just clueless.
the reason why I don't really like e dragons player is that when in a clan war league, they always fight the lower person than them because they don't want to get 1 or 2 stars. Even sometimes they fight the lower person but somehow they still only manage to get a 1 star
How to attack using Electro Dragon in clan war: step 1: destroy all air defense with your lightning spells step 2: deploy all electro dragons along with your log launcher and your heroes. step 3: get 2 star congratulations, you now know how to use electro dragon attack strat (but I use edrag for clumped bases because its too satisfying to watch)
step 5 actually use some drags as a funnel troop with your heroes while destroying some key defenses so your other e drags doesn’t end up going around the base and actually get the 3 star for once.
Electro dragon Can can get 70%+ 2 star blindfolded any base of same Townhall 😂 Also attacking higher Townhall easily secures 2 star by blimp Getting 3 stars just require proper hero use mainly rc
@@baberkhanbk I use 13 lighting spells + 8 e drags, the heroes and a flameflinger (sometimes it’s the only thing that survives at the end of the attack and it kills the town hall )and on the flameflinger there’s a super dragon 🤑 most of the time is between 2/3 stars but I do search for bases with the air sweeper and the rockets near each other 💀
I think the main problem with e drags is how they’re used in war. I understand having a no skill farming army but war is different. You’re supposed to use war to test your skill against other clans but it’s just annoying when you have to face a clan who all use the same attack and it’s effective for all of them.
I litteraly have an Anti Edrake base as permanent warbase, because its just used so damn often As a student-in-training LaLo user, it does get a lil frustrating to see how big the difference in skill is for the same result. But gotta stay loyal to the strat to become better at it 💪

I have achieved multiple perfect, 21 star cwl performances and I have over 1000 war stars. I have been in the top 3 on the trophy leaderboard. I am not a pro player but I am in the top 5% of casual players in terms of attacking skill. I don’t say this to brag, simply to illustrate that the problem with e drags is not that I’m just not good enough to defeat them. The problem is that players who take 30 seconds to plan their attacks, who use the same army for every base, and who simply spam all their troops in a line and watch are able to compete at a level close to me despite how much time I put into developing my skill and planning my attacks. To put it simply, e drags allow low skill level players to get results far above what they’re actual performance deserves because they are a poorly balanced troop.
I personally quite enjoy the Edrag as a troop. 1) It's not really OP, it's just that many people don't make these bases for edrags. At the legends league, edrag isn't used all that much compared to other strategies. 2) The great thing about Edrags isn't really about favoring casual players bc of low skill but it's because of the low total lab time for the army composition. This means you can optimize my progress much more with edrags than any other war comp and therefore blitz through th bottlenecks.
that's basically how I use them, I rushed from like 9 all the way to 13 only upgrading edrags n loons along the way lol...just been chillin a few months now and I'm almost all caught up n rdy to go 14
It is OP, it's not broken. These are not synonyms. Edrag is OP because it requires you to completely shift your base around countering it. It's not broken because it's not a guaranteed 3 star
I hate E-dragon spam becuase people dont go for 3 stars and just brain dead attacks. When they costed elixir it was punishing and costed over 400k for that army comp. Now there are no penalties for using heavy troops like before.
As someone who got back into the game more recently, I am kinda happy to see the community opinion hasn't changed much as balloon spam used to be considered the most braindead army and now there is another tanky flying troop that has taken it's place lol. And yes I said balloon spam not lavaloon as I played before lava hound was even added so the only other troop in such an army would be some minions to help clean up after all air defense was gone. It is always interesting to see how a game evolves even if it's not a very traditional form of pvp and I guess tanky flying troops are going to stay inherently good for a long time as those are just two very solid traits. The main idea I get from such a shift is that E dragons are more suited for th11+ since they spread out more which keeps them alive better when the eagle artillery would otherwise lay into bunched up troops.
As a edrag guy I agree with this however it is not really effective if you don't channel them into the center of the base otherwise they just go around the edge
Actually no. Superdragon and edragon are actually quite good at high th levels and pro play. The problem is they don’t just spam everything in. They tunnel the e drags into the core and then finish the base with hero. They problem is people just spam everything and then get 1 or 2 star

Actually if you take into consideration with how many defenses and traps that can target the air troops, the Electro Dragon is actually not over powered at ALL.

i dont realy like the e-d but i understand people use it to grind, for me the point of the game is to have fun making strats and try to improve ur fighting skill.
As a leader of a clan, what’s most upsetting about edrags is the rut they put players in. Players three star bases all through th11 and th12 only to become the worst attackers of all time by th13. They never learned any other armies and they have no idea how powerful their heroes would be if only they ever upgraded them.
After getting hit by 10 Edrags spams and most of them failed their attack then a skilled QCharge LaLo user 3 starred me. It is like breathing fresh air again after inhaling toxic fumes in a factory. I used them to farm resources because they can 2 star bases even without heroes while not using your brain because they are just so strong. I dont use them for clan war because Im not familiar on how their chain lightning works (because I just turn my brain off and spread edrags like a lunatic). Dragons are much easier to use since I got used to them in Th7.
As an air attacker main I can tell you that edrags at th 15 are far from easy. Since the chains are so unpredictable it isn't rare for them to just fly outside the base. I found that edrags are very strong until the town hall falls, then they are like "nice, GG" and then die😂
Edrag spam works less and less starting at th13. It still is decent but you’re not gonna 3 star using it. I think edrags need a slight nerf but defensively at 13 up handles them pretty well.
I prefer the brain dead method of attacking because I'm a casual player. 8 electro dragons, 16 balloons, 6 haste, 4 freeze and 1 poison, log launcher which may or may not have an edrag and some balloons. As a maxed out TH15 player, I pretty consistently get at least 2 stars on any base I attack. The key is to make sure your attack is as concentrated as possible and not let the edrags get carried away. On the chance they do get distracted and fail to get the town hall, in most cases half the base has been cleared already so it's safe for me to send in my Archer queen at the end to take out the Town Hall.
Haste helps balloons and you can cover more area since you get 2x slots vs 1x for rage. edrags and balloons are very slow otherwise.@@justsomeguywithoutabeard8306

Baby drags are better for funneling since they take 10 space only. But in some cases, there are buildings that are clustered in the corner and there are defenses in the area, Edrag can easily destroy it without dying too early..
I used to use a Lava loon e drag combo when I was TH11-13 but when I started leveling up on TH 13 and getting in a higher trophy range I switched to ground again. I wanted 2-3 stars and it just wasn't viable against the th14s I was facing. Then when i got to Th14 facing TH15s and being in titan/legend league it was pretty much over for my air attacks. I tried them periodically, but my ground army was always more effective. That's not even mentioning clan wars.
I’m th11 and e drags have really taken over the meta at this level. And the fact people who are th12 are using them against me tells me it’s no different at that level either.
I personally don't like using E-drags, I use a go-wipe army setup, and as I increase army space, I'll add or swap out troops to keep it balanced and stron
Well there is a positive of Electrodragon. Positive is that defenses were getting designed in compact way and it was becoming very overwhelming for attackers to attack a compact defense of pro players.
I don’t use edrags but really how strategic it is depends on how you use it,if you spam it isn’t really strategic but if you just use it for funneling it’s not bad
i like using edrags with a queen walk and using rage spells+ freeze spells... this strategy works most of the time to get very easy 3 stars since the queen walk can be used to take the eagle or the inferno towers wich are the only real problem
The reason why it was released at th11 is because when a troop releases is it on the second highest th at the time. So for exampel when th16 realses a new troop needs to come out at th15 because there is troop at th15. Electro Titan was realsed at th14
I have a guy in TH15 that uses nothing but edrags, and he always barely gets 2 stars with it. I'm going to have him removed from war mostly because the difference between his hero levels is too high (80 on queen but 43 on King). He needs to work on his heroes more, and also I want him to start using the air seige machines because whenever he uses the log he doesn't really know how to properly use it.
Been a veteran player since 2016,took a break from 2020-23 , suddenly when i reinstalled the game and got ud back via super cell ,i personally feel this troop combo killed the creative attacks in th11 above players , most of the pushers are blindly sticking to this strategy.. noobs in the clan without proper strategies are blindly spamming the bases with eds !! Govoho ,govawi and miner combo attacks were fun in 2019 . Somehow i don't see the kick in the game anymore.
They should decrease edrag's damage by chain cause in rage it just clears all building in a chain as well as air sweeper not even getting any levels or something

I started using edrags cause I was tired of getting steamrolled by them and I needed a new army anyway, they may be very easy to use but their chain lightning is extremely satisfying to see
I think electro spam is good if you can't get cc troops, i personally use super archer clone bomb in wars so i need donation for every attack But still i think yeti spam is much better than e drag spam
0:42 They did the same thing with Yetis and the root rider. Yetis being clearly TownHall 13 themed but being unlocked at TownHall 12, and Root Riders being clearly TownHall 16 themed but being unlocked at TownHall 15. Idk why they do this.
At TH11 I mostly used a composition of 7 normal dragons and 4 edragons with 6 lightning spells, 3 earthquake, and 1 rage. It worked good and was pretty much a guaranteed 2 star on maxed out TH11's as long as i had my heroes. I found ground troops just suck at TH11. I just moved onto TH12 and plan on switching over to a ground troop meta with siege now being unlocked for me
Ground armies are great at th11. When I was there I would use an army made up of witches, bowlers, ice golems, and bat spells. I don’t think I ever missed a 3-star with it
Tbh Quake GoWiBow + Loglauncher Ice golem is still effective in th11 to get 3 stars. You just have to depend on your warden ability to keep the bowlers alive
I'm using eDrags with balloons in Legends League at TH14 and always getting two stars against TH15/16s. Pimped out TH15/16s too. And I just got two 3 star attacks on TH14 bases in today's clan war. I take out a sweeper using lightning spells. I use one balloon on the corners and the center to trip any air bombs or to take out any archer towers that get rando put out on the edge. If I see open spaces in the base, I will drop a balloon in it because people think they are clever and usually put their air bombs there. Then I drop two eDrags on each corner to create a funnel, drop my remaining balloons in the center with the remaining four eDrags/Warden. Pop the Warden, drop two rage spells so that the balloons take out some of the nasty stuff and send the King and Queen straight down the center. Drop the Champion on whichever side they will have the best effect.
These new lavaloon troops are more OP I’ve been able to 3 star town halls that are 2 levels above me. It doesn’t require much strategy. And it takes only 30 minutes to train. It’s even less when you have training boosts.
It's only op in its tier, just like how balloons are op when unlocked and when heroes are unlocked. Game encourages you to use the new troop but as you progress to higher levels the advantage gained is lessened
TBH I believe that E Drag spam its nothing but a disease, and I say it because I have been using taht strat only for a lot of time already due how easy is to play it but now im basically disabled bc if i try to use a more complex strategy I just get really confused so basically its like a cursed weapon that once u hold it u cant get rid of it
i made a full anti edrag base, i win defenses 1/3 of times against edrag army, IN TH15! it kinda works against new op baloon troop too, but sadly i didn't upgrade the poison thrower thingy(still rage lvl)
Strong bases on online websites that counter strats or are straight up copied from worlds or similar have always existed and Edrags are really easy to defend and barely used at high level nowadays, while they were not used at all back when Th12 was around for a while. And as a defending troop the Edrag is actually one of the worst troops you could have, makes it much worse that so many throw edrags in thinking it will do something.
Honestly I am much of a casual player so I just get myself to stick with edrag spam but tbh sometimes this strategy actually faile when the buildings are on a two tile gap but still it gets around 2 stars everytime I attack. Also, when heroes are upgrading this strategy seemed only the viable one
It's funny because if you seperate your inferno towers, air defense and air sweeper in your main base and set all inferno towers to single, You're basically not gonna get attacked because most of these people just spam them anyways. This only happens between th 11-13 in th14 people actually use skills
I tend to only use edrags for farming, since at a low rank it's easy to find overly compact bases that are easy to chain Same with unbalanced cwl But I don't really join a lot of normal wars since I'm still farming a rushed account
I use edrags for thropy pushing since my opponents are TH 13 & 14. I get probably 1 or 3 TH12 (same as my level) while attacking. Plus its hard when there are no heroes. I have to always fill my cc and siege machine and extra spells to get even 2stars and 50+ %. Most of my attacks average around 50%. I also loose couple of attacks ie losing around 40-50 throphies. I am just another casual player who plays around free times. So edrags are good for me. Though i use different troops when i have all 3 heroes to use.
What bothers me the most is that dragon spam can pretty much guarantee a 3 star on any base from th 7-10 and arguably even higher... And then e-drags which are basically the same thing but blue and stronger guarantee a 3 star on most bases from th 11-13 at least. I've seen mass normie drag work on these too and even th 14's... So esentially there is 1 strategy, using 1 troop, that carries you through about 95% of the game or more given how little time you spend before th7... and it hasn't changed for over 10 years. I quit playing for 8 years, and I come back and to my dismay dragon spam is STILL one of the most common and best attacks... Except now it 3 stars at th 10 and above too. I dislike the complete removal of all and any incentive to learn new things. I learned lavaloonion back in my day, that's still my go-to, but I was proficient enough with hogs, go wiwi and more. We were incentiviced to learn versitile strats that weren't too hard, but weren't too easy.
You cant blame the strat for being effective in the meta with majority of the bases being compact type. Whereas if the meta of bases were spread then everyone would start complaining about GoWipe attacks 😂
What the complaining people don't understand is that this attack actually need brain cells to win otherwise you gonna get 2 star 70% and more not a three star attack

@@hell1942 you should always aim for 3 stars. Two stars arent the end of the world, but when everyone two stars you miss 1 third of the stars which is really bad. A two star isnt bad, but your attack still failed, if you didn’t 3 star Also there are really easy attacks that can consistently 3 star like superbarch or superbowlersmash
It's Supercell's fault not the players, the less skilled players are basically forced to use edrags or they wont do well in attacks, nobody can fix it but Supercell.
If I could, I’d make the Electro Dragon’s damage become redistributed. Reduce the damage from the first two targets, and put the lost damage from the first two targets into the third target.

Super minions and lava hounds are much better on defense

One way to counter EDrag is to separate your base defenses so it doesn’t violate you.

@@baberkhanbk I use 13 lighting spells + 8 e drags, the heroes and a flameflinger (sometimes it’s the only thing that survives at the end of the attack and it kills the town hall )and on the flameflinger there’s a super dragon 🤑 most of the time is between 2/3 stars but I do search for bases with the air sweeper and the rockets near each other 💀

I think the main problem with e drags is how they’re used in war. I understand having a no skill farming army but war is different. You’re supposed to use war to test your skill against other clans but it’s just annoying when you have to face a clan who all use the same attack and it’s effective for all of them.
I litteraly have an Anti Edrake base as permanent warbase, because its just used so damn often
As a student-in-training LaLo user, it does get a lil frustrating to see how big the difference in skill is for the same result. But gotta stay loyal to the strat to become better at it 💪

I have achieved multiple perfect, 21 star cwl performances and I have over 1000 war stars. I have been in the top 3 on the trophy leaderboard. I am not a pro player but I am in the top 5% of casual players in terms of attacking skill. I don’t say this to brag, simply to illustrate that the problem with e drags is not that I’m just not good enough to defeat them. The problem is that players who take 30 seconds to plan their attacks, who use the same army for every base, and who simply spam all their troops in a line and watch are able to compete at a level close to me despite how much time I put into developing my skill and planning my attacks. To put it simply, e drags allow low skill level players to get results far above what they’re actual performance deserves because they are a poorly balanced troop.
I personally quite enjoy the Edrag as a troop.
1) It's not really OP, it's just that many people don't make these bases for edrags. At the legends league, edrag isn't used all that much compared to other strategies.
2) The great thing about Edrags isn't really about favoring casual players bc of low skill but it's because of the low total lab time for the army composition. This means you can optimize my progress much more with edrags than any other war comp and therefore blitz through th bottlenecks.
that's basically how I use them, I rushed from like 9 all the way to 13 only upgrading edrags n loons along the way lol...just been chillin a few months now and I'm almost all caught up n rdy to go 14

It is OP, it's not broken. These are not synonyms. Edrag is OP because it requires you to completely shift your base around countering it. It's not broken because it's not a guaranteed 3 star

I hate E-dragon spam becuase people dont go for 3 stars and just brain dead attacks. When they costed elixir it was punishing and costed over 400k for that army comp. Now there are no penalties for using heavy troops like before.
As someone who got back into the game more recently, I am kinda happy to see the community opinion hasn't changed much as balloon spam used to be considered the most braindead army and now there is another tanky flying troop that has taken it's place lol.
And yes I said balloon spam not lavaloon as I played before lava hound was even added so the only other troop in such an army would be some minions to help clean up after all air defense was gone.
It is always interesting to see how a game evolves even if it's not a very traditional form of pvp and I guess tanky flying troops are going to stay inherently good for a long time as those are just two very solid traits.
The main idea I get from such a shift is that E dragons are more suited for th11+ since they spread out more which keeps them alive better when the eagle artillery would otherwise lay into bunched up troops.
As a edrag guy I agree with this however it is not really effective if you don't channel them into the center of the base otherwise they just go around the edge

Actually no. Superdragon and edragon are actually quite good at high th levels and pro play. The problem is they don’t just spam everything in. They tunnel the e drags into the core and then finish the base with hero. They problem is people just spam everything and then get 1 or 2 star

Actually if you take into consideration with how many defenses and traps that can target the air troops, the Electro Dragon is actually not over powered at ALL.
The issue is that you can simply lightning spam air defenses,and the other defenses simply arent powerful enough to defend against mass E drags.

As a leader of a clan, what’s most upsetting about edrags is the rut they put players in. Players three star bases all through th11 and th12 only to become the worst attackers of all time by th13. They never learned any other armies and they have no idea how powerful their heroes would be if only they ever upgraded them.
After getting hit by 10 Edrags spams and most of them failed their attack then a skilled QCharge LaLo user 3 starred me. It is like breathing fresh air again after inhaling toxic fumes in a factory.
I used them to farm resources because they can 2 star bases even without heroes while not using your brain because they are just so strong. I dont use them for clan war because Im not familiar on how their chain lightning works (because I just turn my brain off and spread edrags like a lunatic). Dragons are much easier to use since I got used to them in Th7.
They arent overpowered at all. Everyone who says that is just some rushed kid wondering why he keeps getting 3 star'd
As an air attacker main I can tell you that edrags at th 15 are far from easy. Since the chains are so unpredictable it isn't rare for them to just fly outside the base. I found that edrags are very strong until the town hall falls, then they are like "nice, GG" and then die😂
Plus Monolith is absolutely perfect at dealing with them
Edrag spam works less and less starting at th13. It still is decent but you’re not gonna 3 star using it. I think edrags need a slight nerf but defensively at 13 up handles them pretty well.
I mean the E dragon can literally hit biuldings that can't hit him back because they are to far away being sniped. That is what makes it broken.
I prefer the brain dead method of attacking because I'm a casual player. 8 electro dragons, 16 balloons, 6 haste, 4 freeze and 1 poison, log launcher which may or may not have an edrag and some balloons. As a maxed out TH15 player, I pretty consistently get at least 2 stars on any base I attack. The key is to make sure your attack is as concentrated as possible and not let the edrags get carried away. On the chance they do get distracted and fail to get the town hall, in most cases half the base has been cleared already so it's safe for me to send in my Archer queen at the end to take out the Town Hall.
Rage is better than haste for edrags
Haste helps balloons and you can cover more area since you get 2x slots vs 1x for rage. edrags and balloons are very slow otherwise.@@justsomeguywithoutabeard8306

Baby drags can get taken out easily, and if edrags can't be used, you can resort to using a pekka, same thing
Mostly when people use heavy troops like these for funnelling, they aldready have everything they need, so they aren't pressed for space, it doesn't really matter if you don't use it
Baby drags are better for funneling since they take 10 space only. But in some cases, there are buildings that are clustered in the corner and there are defenses in the area, Edrag can easily destroy it without dying too early..
I used to use a Lava loon e drag combo when I was TH11-13 but when I started leveling up on TH 13 and getting in a higher trophy range I switched to ground again. I wanted 2-3 stars and it just wasn't viable against the th14s I was facing. Then when i got to Th14 facing TH15s and being in titan/legend league it was pretty much over for my air attacks. I tried them periodically, but my ground army was always more effective. That's not even mentioning clan wars.
I’m th11 and e drags have really taken over the meta at this level.
And the fact people who are th12 are using them against me tells me it’s no different at that level either.
yes th11 and 12 use e drags mainly th13 people use different comps bc of royal champion.
I personally don't like using E-drags, I use a go-wipe army setup, and as I increase army space, I'll add or swap out troops to keep it balanced and stron
Well there is a positive of Electrodragon. Positive is that defenses were getting designed in compact way and it was becoming very overwhelming for attackers to attack a compact defense of pro players.

i like using edrags with a queen walk and using rage spells+ freeze spells...
this strategy works most of the time to get very easy 3 stars since the queen walk can be used to take the eagle or the inferno towers wich are the only real problem
The reason why it was released at th11 is because when a troop releases is it on the second highest th at the time. So for exampel when th16 realses a new troop needs to come out at th15 because there is troop at th15. Electro Titan was realsed at th14

I have a guy in TH15 that uses nothing but edrags, and he always barely gets 2 stars with it. I'm going to have him removed from war mostly because the difference between his hero levels is too high (80 on queen but 43 on King). He needs to work on his heroes more, and also I want him to start using the air seige machines because whenever he uses the log he doesn't really know how to properly use it.
Been a veteran player since 2016,took a break from 2020-23 , suddenly when i reinstalled the game and got ud back via super cell ,i personally feel this troop combo killed the creative attacks in th11 above players , most of the pushers are blindly sticking to this strategy.. noobs in the clan without proper strategies are blindly spamming the bases with eds !! Govoho ,govawi and miner combo attacks were fun in 2019 . Somehow i don't see the kick in the game anymore.
They should decrease edrag's damage by chain cause in rage it just clears all building in a chain as well as air sweeper not even getting any levels or something

the higher hitpoints targeting is a buff if you make ur base in a way that would make them go for the worse defenses/buildings
I started using edrags cause I was tired of getting steamrolled by them and I needed a new army anyway, they may be very easy to use but their chain lightning is extremely satisfying to see
I think electro spam is good if you can't get cc troops, i personally use super archer clone bomb in wars so i need donation for every attack
But still i think yeti spam is much better than e drag spam

At least e drag spammer rarely get a 100% destroy rate, that's why i use magic Archer and invisible spell rather than spamming lightning

At TH11 I mostly used a composition of 7 normal dragons and 4 edragons with 6 lightning spells, 3 earthquake, and 1 rage. It worked good and was pretty much a guaranteed 2 star on maxed out TH11's as long as i had my heroes. I found ground troops just suck at TH11. I just moved onto TH12 and plan on switching over to a ground troop meta with siege now being unlocked for me
At th12+, e-drag span is pretty bad. Our clan usually laughs when we go against a clan full of e-drag spammers since they always fail the attack
Ground armies are great at th11. When I was there I would use an army made up of witches, bowlers, ice golems, and bat spells. I don’t think I ever missed a 3-star with it
Pekka Bowler with Log Launcher is just as effective at TH11 as it is at TH10. You're just not experimenting enough
Tbh Quake GoWiBow + Loglauncher Ice golem is still effective in th11 to get 3 stars. You just have to depend on your warden ability to keep the bowlers alive

I'm using eDrags with balloons in Legends League at TH14 and always getting two stars against TH15/16s. Pimped out TH15/16s too. And I just got two 3 star attacks on TH14 bases in today's clan war.
I take out a sweeper using lightning spells. I use one balloon on the corners and the center to trip any air bombs or to take out any archer towers that get rando put out on the edge. If I see open spaces in the base, I will drop a balloon in it because people think they are clever and usually put their air bombs there. Then I drop two eDrags on each corner to create a funnel, drop my remaining balloons in the center with the remaining four eDrags/Warden. Pop the Warden, drop two rage spells so that the balloons take out some of the nasty stuff and send the King and Queen straight down the center. Drop the Champion on whichever side they will have the best effect.
I remember a e drag was in a clan castle when I was a lower town hall it wiped my whole raid
These new lavaloon troops are more OP I’ve been able to 3 star town halls that are 2 levels above me. It doesn’t require much strategy. And it takes only 30 minutes to train. It’s even less when you have training boosts.
What makes the e drag so broken is not only can you no skill spam them, but they do everything. Funneling, cleanup? They do it all
Edrag spam works only with heros. If your heros are in upgrade, u can 2 star a base at best.
It's only op in its tier, just like how balloons are op when unlocked and when heroes are unlocked. Game encourages you to use the new troop but as you progress to higher levels the advantage gained is lessened
TBH I believe that E Drag spam its nothing but a disease, and I say it because I have been using taht strat only for a lot of time already due how easy is to play it but now im basically disabled bc if i try to use a more complex strategy I just get really confused so basically its like a cursed weapon that once u hold it u cant get rid of it

It took me some time but I switched it to Super-Drag Spam. And with Stone slammer, I have scored 3 stars consistently
Strong bases on online websites that counter strats or are straight up copied from worlds or similar have always existed and Edrags are really easy to defend and barely used at high level nowadays, while they were not used at all back when Th12 was around for a while. And as a defending troop the Edrag is actually one of the worst troops you could have, makes it much worse that so many throw edrags in thinking it will do something.
Honestly I am much of a casual player so I just get myself to stick with edrag spam but tbh sometimes this strategy actually faile when the buildings are on a two tile gap but still it gets around 2 stars everytime I attack. Also, when heroes are upgrading this strategy seemed only the viable one
It's funny because if you seperate your inferno towers, air defense and air sweeper in your main base and set all inferno towers to single, You're basically not gonna get attacked because most of these people just spam them anyways.
This only happens between th 11-13 in th14 people actually use skills

I tend to only use edrags for farming, since at a low rank it's easy to find overly compact bases that are easy to chain

In my last clan I was forced to snipe th15s usually at th12, this was my only way to do it barely scraping together 2⭐️
I use edrags for thropy pushing since my opponents are TH 13 & 14. I get probably 1 or 3 TH12 (same as my level) while attacking.
Plus its hard when there are no heroes. I have to always fill my cc and siege machine and extra spells to get even 2stars and 50+ %. Most of my attacks average around 50%.
I also loose couple of attacks ie losing around 40-50 throphies.
I am just another casual player who plays around free times. So edrags are good for me.
Though i use different troops when i have all 3 heroes to use.

What bothers me the most is that dragon spam can pretty much guarantee a 3 star on any base from th 7-10 and arguably even higher... And then e-drags which are basically the same thing but blue and stronger guarantee a 3 star on most bases from th 11-13 at least. I've seen mass normie drag work on these too and even th 14's... So esentially there is 1 strategy, using 1 troop, that carries you through about 95% of the game or more given how little time you spend before th7... and it hasn't changed for over 10 years.
I quit playing for 8 years, and I come back and to my dismay dragon spam is STILL one of the most common and best attacks... Except now it 3 stars at th 10 and above too.
I dislike the complete removal of all and any incentive to learn new things. I learned lavaloonion back in my day, that's still my go-to, but I was proficient enough with hogs, go wiwi and more. We were incentiviced to learn versitile strats that weren't too hard, but weren't too easy.
You cant blame the strat for being effective in the meta with majority of the bases being compact type. Whereas if the meta of bases were spread then everyone would start complaining about GoWipe attacks 😂
i just use these blue birds for side funnel and they do not disappoint in their job

What the complaining people don't understand is that this attack actually need brain cells to win otherwise you gonna get 2 star 70% and more not a three star attack

@@hell1942 you should always aim for 3 stars. Two stars arent the end of the world, but when everyone two stars you miss 1 third of the stars which is really bad.

It's Supercell's fault not the players, the less skilled players are basically forced to use edrags or they wont do well in attacks, nobody can fix it but Supercell.

If I could, I’d make the Electro Dragon’s damage become redistributed. Reduce the damage from the first two targets, and put the lost damage from the first two targets into the third target.
