Hey everyone! I wanted to mention something I completely missed when scripting this video: The HERO REGENERATION stat does increase every 5 levels. This actually makes hero upgrades a lot more worth it, but I don't change how I would handle everything in this video simply due to the hero potions. I just wanted to make sure that I do mention this, as it is important (:
You also forgot to mention that maxed heroes on defense slap as gear doesnt matter at all
Am i missing something? How can it be positive that the regeneration time increases, doesn’t that just mean it takes longer for us to be able to use the heroes again? You must mean the health recovery increases, right? Increased health recovery is the positive every 5 levels and increased health regeneration time is a negative. Did I missunderstand anything?

@@2000rune Nah you got nothing wrong, it's a negative point but it doesn't matter too much as the army training time increase due to army capacity increasing
So just more Strategic rushing basically. But if DPS and HTP matters for a lot of people it would be optimal to get your hero’s within 10-15 levels of max for your TH level
It's only a matter of time, till supercell makes the equipment so that you'll need to be at certain hero level to upgrade a hero's equipment
Yeah, thankfully, I've been following a rushing guide for three months, and I now have high-level heroes so I can take a break from looting Dark Elixir like crazy
@@HajanyzHwbqba Keep doing it. I don't understand people trying to absolute max their base before upgrading th, Rushing is the way. Not too much. Strengthen your offenses and a touch of major defenses.

@@accidentalgnius I think maxing is the way, you get to enjoy the game and learn new strategies. When rushing it will take you roughly a year to be ready to actually play the game, you should only rush if its ur second account.

The hero equipment should've be automatically upgraded alongside hero's level. Or at least it should be easier to obtain ore

I disagree with this comment completely this update is amazing it actually made my clan more active in wars were we are able to spin them back to back instead of once a week
That's why if you had a maxed out hero you got the gear at that level it should be. Ore will be easier, it'll probably show up on the next months gold pass, in the shop etc
They should definitely lower the hero upgrade costs… as hero levels used to matter for upgrading the ability now its two separate things

@@bharatmatakayoda Not enough to compensate for the exorbitant prices of the equipment. I am at TH 12 and my Queen is lvl 65 which is max for my TH but after the update the equipment is at lvl 11 which is NOT max for TH 12. So I spent millions of Dark Elixir just so Supercell can take that progress away by not giving me max equipment for my TH level even though my Queen is maxed. Now I have to grind for months just to catch up to where I was before the update.

They should make it where once you upgrade your hero to the next 5th level (every 5 levels you upgrade), you get a certain amount of ores to use to upgrade the hero ability items.
I'm still going to max my heroes just so I can flex on my friends😂

Hero's are still in defense. So it is still really important to upgrade them so your defense is stronger. A hero potion doesn't effect defense in war
Yeah but if u are a rusher, you always have defensive building to upgrade and that upgrade always better than hero upgrade

@@larshaver8561 Except that max wizard towers takes a fraction of max king/queen. If I remember correctly, maxing your heroes is over a year of upgrades. The more correct comparison would be maxed EA, inferno, xbox, air defence and a bunch of other stuff vs maxed king/queen
defensive heroes got nerfed
Heroes are very useless on defense tbh
Barbarian king gets 3 taps from e drags even at maxed levels, archer queen 2 taps and bad AI
Only the RC does it good but quite sucks for offense
Additional Tip- Don’t forget your heroes are also help you in defence 🙂 …. Max Heroes = Harder for your opponent to attack you in war 🤝
Low hero’s = don’t have to use head hunters which = more troop space = easier to 3 star

Players do 200-300 attacks per season excluding wars...can u claim that much amount of potions?.
Truth I was a rusher but now 2 years of grind i maxed out my hero's now I am seeing no value of maxing my Heros i kinda like also dislike this update

@@Dickdash rushing is horrible for CW performance. Our clan excludes any rusher from playing CW so they will be limited to starbonus to aquire the orbs.
Hope they either hard nerf the potion, make it impossible to get from normal means or preferably just revert it to a +5
As someone who warden walks for every attack for cwl its kinda sad that people say warden is useless other than the abilities
Yeah, same for queen walk
if you like Warden Walks, I have had great success so far using the Rage Gem + Life Gem or Rage Gem + Eternal Tome on the Warden Walk, because of the Rage Gem you likely wont need to commit Rage Spells to your Healers to keep the Warden alive so you can focus Spell usage on the rest of your army

I would say, that when u want to upgrade to new town hall, you just shouldn't take into consideration levels of your heroes as much, like before
Whilst not guaranteed also need to protect against future updates. If the hero levels suddenly become more important again, the upgrade time makes that one huge hill to climb if you need to catch back up

As someone who’s played for like a decade (on and off at times) and have maxed my heroes before going up to the next town hall I really hope they make it worth it cause now I regret not rushing smh
This is the wrong approach to fixing the hero issue imo. The cost and time investment is an issue yeah, but whats way more of an issue still is not beeing able to use em all the time.
Imo they should've stuck with the +5 levels and made it so u can use your heros while upgrading when the potion is active.
Nope, people gem the build time to have them available. No freebies. If they change that…..better give people who gemmed money back.. see the dilemma my friend? 🤷🏼♂️
@@thespons076 I can see where you're coming from... Still, I personally wouldnt mind. Where I'm at now with my progress I maxed out like 85-90% of my hero levels the way it works currently and I'd still rather have it changed then keeping it like this for new players.
Maybe if they introduce a new magic item thats a bit more expensive (cost cwl medals or a lot of raid medals or something) then in that case players like you wouldnt feel like they're beeing scammed since the new item also is quite expensive itself for the newer players (maybe make it last for 12 hours though).
Anyways, just a concept...all I'm sayin though is they could've done a lot better with reworking the potion.

Instead they should add the system where you can use your heroes while they're upgrading.
You can use troops,spells and seige even when they're on upgrade, so why not heroes?
I’ve been saying this for years. If you could use heroes while upgrading the game becomes more fun instantly since you can actually use heroes outside of wars. Make the star bonus every 12 hours and boom heroes equipment is also fixed.

Barbarian king is definitely worth upgrading because of the hitpoints on damage per second, which was slightly buffed
At level 1 he got around 2k hitpoints, maxed he has 11k and the damage triples
Using earthquake boots and rage, when he gets in range of town hall, using his ability almost instantly obliterates everything in area

If you want to save your potions in CWL, you can just attack at the end of one day and the start of the next, lets you double up just like in standard war
They should of never changed the hero potion. But like someone else mentioned, the potion doesnt effect defensive heros, making their bases easier to smash. So sure, please dont upgrade your heros, makes it easier for me to 3.

They had to do that to compensate for the fact that low hero levels give low equipments when you build the blacksmith. Like I got some accounts with equipment levels 8, 9 and lvl 4. Meanwhile my th14 has lvl 14 and lvl 15 equipments for heroes. You can use a potion and get a lvl 60-65 warden but you still got crap equipments which means that your lvl 60-65 warden only has skill that lasts 4-5 seconds instead of 12 seconds. So don't build the blacksmith until you get at least max th14 heroes or else you check out the price of orbs to lvl up the equipment LOL that's 20-30k ORBS you will need just to get your heroes to work like they did before at max level.
For cwl...use the hero potion at the last minute of a day....
U can do the next day attack of the cwl using that same hero potion...so technically even cwl needs only 3/4 hero potion for heroes.
Don't forget you'll need to use a training potion as well to train your troops that fast!

They even took out that small animation your queen does when she would activate her ability her arrows would start to glow till her ability is off 😭 it makes me feel like my queen isn’t doing as much damage as she did before

Well, for me since Hero Potion temporary max my heroes ill just upgrade them whenever Hero Book is available, save my builder time and i could immediately use my hero with slow progress but better than no progress
To make it short, they nerf our hero
for a cwl, you can actually activate it in a way that it will cover 2 wars. just activate it 30 min before one ends, attack late in one war, and youll have time to attack for the next war
If I see one big issue with this update is hero equipment ore Aquisition for alt accts is going to add up to a lot of extra stuff to do vs what i had to do before. Not touching minis at least till main is done in light of that reality.
Agreed. I can't even build blacksmith on my minis bro they are th12 with lvl 50-60 heroes and the equipment you get after building blacksmith that that level is horrible. I got a th13 account with lvl 40-60 heroes that got equipment lvl 8-9 and lvl 4 for RC hero. I feel bad for building the blacksmith on it now. My heroes got nerfed as soon as I built the building.
for the cwl u can just use one potion and attack at the last 30 minutes of the wars that way u will have it for 2 wars

0:45 actually no,every 5 levels the health recovery when activating an ability gets a buff, and every hero gets that, even the grand warden

Higher level heroes are lethal on defense too. Don't forget that.
You regularly avoid attacking the Max level 90 Heroes over the level 30 Heroes.
I mean... To get them to level 90 you will spend like 5 months upgrading them and in that time span you will get attacked by heaven and hell. Only for them to attack with E-drags which melt your heroes in 2-3 hits

As someone who was siting at maxed base and heroes before th16.. god id never wana go from the start with those lvls.. just rush the new lvls as soon as they come and ur at peace of mind..

Just upgrade them hero levels. Why? Cause you can practice any army, especially those with sui hero dives without thinking about your low level heroes.
for cwl, attack 10 min before the end, so you have around 50 min for the next day so acctually you need only 4 potions for cwl

With 1 hero portion we can attack in 2 cwl, can collect 2 star bonus and multiple attacks for remaining time. Therefore upgrading heroes seems to be a very tiring process to me now.

So I normally use hero potion at end of the war day in cwl( having 30mins is ok for me) attack in cwl then wait a bit for the next cwl war day to start and then I can still attack with the potion in effect... In this scenario you will need only 4 hero potion total a week ... You get 3 from shop... You gotta get one from somewhere.
as someone whos about ready to max th 10 i gotta say how much harder it is to max and attack with new equipment because with maxed heroes you dont get maxed abilities anymore
I've th13 base with queen level 66... Before this equipment think was introduced, I decided to make her to level 70... But now should I upgrade her more before going to th14 or just stop here?? Also my warden is level 44, what should I do with him?? Want a helpful reply please

Every 5 lvls of hero upgrade should give 2 free upgrades to that specific hero or give a equivalent of gems needed to upgrade the gear

Hero levels have always been a drag and now it just feels even worse. After the equipment update I stopped upgrading my heroes (Im a th13 with max heroes for th12) and the game is just so much more fun. I mainly use hybrid which needs heroes and it sucked having to use sneaky goblins for farming or electrodragon because my heroes would be constantly upgrading. It's ridiculous having to spend 2-3 months and tons of DE/Elixir for what has now become minor stat buffs.
It will come down to you can get level 20 equipment without a certain level of the hero so like a level 30 hero
They should make hero upgrades still allow you to use them in your army
i quit upgrading my heroes (except RC) from learning from this video, but now i constantly have overflowing DE. how do you deal with the overflowing DE? do you just let it go to waste?
They should make hero levels have a buff on there gears. Instead of an ability upgrade, it should be a boost of the effects of Gears. So if you have like a lvl 10 Warden it’ll be like a 2% boost on Healing Tome time
I mean if u use your raid medal for hero potion you wouldn't be able buy research portion which means your troops upgrade is delayed. Hmm 🤔
They should drastically reduce the upgrade time on the heroes or make those hero books a lot more abundant. Everyone likes having high lv heroes. But without their abilities a lv90 king is more or less the same as a lv80.

Like 3king ,3queen, 2.5warden, 1.5RC lvls to 1 equipment lvl
So to use a 18lvl equipment hero lvs must be 54, 54, 45, 27
& to use 27lvl epic equipment hero lvls must be 81,81,67,40

3:50 there's another way. You can enable the boost during the last 10 minutes or something and then attack. You can attack on the next war day using the same boost. Lol

I have decided to only keep my heroes on for the cwl, and upgrade them other times. I only upgrade queen and warden atm

I love the new update, I basically own like 2 rushed accounts in th13, th14 with this update I can 3 star max th14 easily and even some th15 with my rushed th14
I am going to th15 after couple days, so what should I do regarding heroes, how fast should I upgrade them or the overall priority regarding heroes ?
imo just still keep heroes your first priority for a couple months you can max them and then do other upgrades,th15 here so i can feel ya, keep up the grind brotha
Technically you only need 4 heroes to get you through all of cwl if you time your attacks in between days
Are you sure equipment doesn’t upgrade with the hero? Kinda messes lower level players over big time if it doesn’t. As bases with higher hero’s get higher equipment.
Atleast the OG abilities should be automatically upgrade like they used to.

Hey, I hope you are gonna make a video soon about how to most efficiently use Cooki medals for all TH levels and for both free users and those who will buy the pass.
It'll help a lot knowing how we should get the most value out of it.
The point a 4:37 doesn't make too much sense, as having lower hero levels during normal attacks makes them harder then war/cwl therfore you'll have a bit extra power in war (if your strategy isn't super hero dependent like queen charge)
I do something similar, my normal attacks never include cc troops, therefore my war attacks will always be stronger than normals.
Still maxing cause I'm a perfectionist and aren't bordered with rushing to the next TH. I rather enjoy the journey than destination.
with the introduction of hero equipments, its about time Supercell readjust the cost of upgrading the heroes

You forgot one point
Hero's play major role in defending a base.
After you build the Blacksmith your heroes get nerfed in real time no lie. My TH13 RC is lvl 25 and has almost same stats as my TH14 lvl 30 RC after building the blacksmith and getting crap equipment gears.
Beware of building that it's just pure nerf.
