I love when people don't are "I can't play country with a les Paul" or "I need a stratocaster to funk", seeing someone playing death with a Telecaster or playing pop with a B.C rich really brings joy to my life
man i cant tell you how happy it makes me to see metal played on strats chris garza from suicide silence and his 7 string strat i will forever be jealous of
Hey Kaylen, pro tip for the loose battery in the Kirby guitar: you could try screwing the battery clip to the body or wrap the battery in some foam like the kind that some pickups and microphones come packed in.
Foam around the battery for the pink Squier! I like that Head-Les Paul! And the Kreator sig, rules! EMG, baby! The Fishmans don't compare! Both Mexi Strats sounded real good too! Cool collection, thanks for sharing!
Fun to see everything and compare to a year ago. Thanks for showing us! Btw, uBasses look silly, but they seem like they’d be tons of fun. I know guitar players make fun of ukes, but ukes are really cool. A tenor uke actually helped me with finger style on guitar, but I still prefer picks on uke too. Anyway, I don’t own a uBass, but I hope to get one someday. Acoustic electric ones can get really cool tones with pedals and amps!
Hey, if your battery in the absorber won't stay still try putting some thicc(ish) foam right where the battery is in the cavity. Learned that From EMGtv 15 years ago!
Within 2 hours of every video you post your videos always pop up in my feed! The algorithm does love you! And that with my notifications off and just subscribed 🙂
Idea for the Absorber battery issue: a little pouch that you can stick/velcro to the pickguard might work. It's basically the same principle for a LR Baggs acoustic pickup/preamp.
for the absorber, you can probably find a battery clip and just dremel or saw or chew away at whatever bit of it won't fit before trying to bolt into the cavity. hopefully fishman will hook you back up with that proper bridge pickup, i dont run a channel, but i do keep one guitar as my "experimental" axe.
I have 2 splattercasters, which I love. I managed to get them as new old stock pretty cheaply about 12 years ago,. So glad I got them back then, they're pretty pricey now.
What's the first riff you played with that black signature jackson V ? I want to look up the tabs, there's a cool dissonance you get when you stretch your pinky 😅
mim strats and teles are pretty sweet most of the time. My early 80s mij teles are about my favorite guitar though. Super versatile and sounds great playing anything.
Use some velcro for the battery. You will need to put a new piece on the battery when exchanging it but usually there is strong adhesive on it they stick everywhere
the blue strat - the finish is silk (i think) wallpaper glued to the guitar. the edges are "burst" to cover the seams then clear over. the old ones, the clear yellows over time the plate should have similar wallpaper under transparent i have the pink paisley japanese tele
Tune the PG Mico up to f# or G or A with normal 9 or 10 gauge strings, or put 13's on there. I have an LTD F-JR that is the same scale and 13's work on it. It is great. You can reach octaves with ease without string skipping.
Hey Kaylen, could you please state what songs were played when demoing your guitars? I only recognized Black Dog and that's it... Which is kinda sad, considering your tasty playing.
Holy whit I haven't played that haunted track in yrs and yrs!! I forgot i can even play it..wnd kind of how to .had to re learn it after watching this..thanks my guy great video
Maybe a cheap solution for the Batterie of the Absorber: for some project i once did i stole of those velcro strips that sometimes come with cables and stapled it into some wood to hold a battery. Could work, although my project wasnt moved much so i dont know how well it holds in a guitar.
Nice collection. Wouldn't mind seeing a esp horizon 2 or something of that nature amongst it maybe. Whats your thoughts. Awesome videos mate keep up the good work 🤟🎸
I did the same thing with the FF modern set in my Epiphone LP Custom. I put the alnico neck pick-up in the bridge position. The bridge pick-up to me is too trebly and brittle.
Your collection is really cool, your love of strats and weird oddball guitars is really infectious and cool, very very jealous of your Splattercaster and Blue floral, both of those along with the Pink paisley are dream guitars of mine.
Jcm 2000 talk or DSL? Jcm jcm 8000 Kerry king signature?! The orange is it a Bass Head?! There's also a small marshall practice amp. 4x12 with 4 g12t75 or did you mode it? Angled or straight cabinet?! I love stratocasters.
The good Thing about getting older as a Guitarist with a full Time Job (or Sponsor go get that YT Money) is knowing you only need one Guitar...but you CAN get more
I got two more since finishing this video, and I'd honestly be fine shrinking my collection down to those two. Combined, they can do pretty much everything... I just don't *want* to do that 🤣
Can you do a video on what happened to Mushroomhead? it is an interesting case for study on how NOT to run a band. Btw, albums such as M3, Superbuick, XIII and the remaster+compilation album XX are really really good.
@@sixstringtv1no, he said expansive. Unfortunately I don't know what an expansive guitar would be. Maybe one with a neck that can expand and contract?
Usdm market used prices aren't bad. Can't speak on other markets, but i acquired a limited edition strat with a full rosewood neck for $1100 once, pristine condition with some Seymour Duncan's. Hope that helps @sixstringtv1
Its not the actual neck pickup itself that gives you better lead tones...its the placement of the pickup that gives it better lead tones. So putting a designated neck pickup in the bridge position will not give you good lead tones. You messed up and should of put it closer to the neck since thats what actually gets the "lead tone"...lol
I love that you seem to collect these bluesy and very un-metal guitars but demonstrate them with death metal riffs. ❤
Funny, I'm the opposite. I collect a lot of modern "metal" guitars, but I mostly play blues riffs. LOL 🤘😜
I love when people don't are "I can't play country with a les Paul" or "I need a stratocaster to funk", seeing someone playing death with a Telecaster or playing pop with a B.C rich really brings joy to my life

Strat metal for life
You can get a custom made Kiesel Delos 7 string made for pretty acceptable money (considering it's a custom guitar).
Hey Kaylen, pro tip for the loose battery in the Kirby guitar: you could try screwing the battery clip to the body or wrap the battery in some foam like the kind that some pickups and microphones come packed in.
I've fixed the issue now. All I needed was stronger tape
I was so happy to hear you play Seabeast. Goated riff.

14:56 Buy a few sponges and cut them to the shape of the cavity, and make a little clamshell enclosure for the battery
That Trivium riff at the end is beautiful 🔥🔥🔥 I’m still trying to learn it lol

14:55 rubber foam is your friend! glue it inside the neck humbucker cavity and cut out a 9V compartment

Good for you for taking down your Pantera video. It's a good start. Keep it up!

The headless Les Paul is the reason I subscribed.
The riffs you play are so sick, what bands do you listen to?
Put some double-sided tape on the inside of the pickguard on your pink Squire, and mount the battery to the tape. No more rattle.
The pink Strat sounds great man

I liked the kreator signature jackson sound, the last headless guitar, and the mexican fender. All sound awesome.
tung oil doesn't crack - that's lacquer on the flower strat. Great collection - unexpected.

There are metal battery clips you can get and screw into place.
that's jackson kreator is insane !!
2 guitars in and the tone out of the single coil Strat smokes the Kramer but damn the stillborn one is a great song.

Interesting trem cavity on that washburn!
You should play going for the one by yes on that lap steel
Wow just found you but I have always wanted to make a headless LP
The N2 sounds the best for sure
Yes basses are huge n heavy like a cinder block.
Glue some velcro straps inside the absorber
Replace the dead pickup with a super high output.
Are you gonna make a pedalboard update video?
First guitar play so badass your hair started flowing midair
what is the name of the song he plays on 23:36 ?
All against all by the haunted
Hey, maybe Velcro would work for holding that battery down.
Can not post links but there are less Paul/more Paul toggle switch backplates…maybe if you wanna have even less paul
Gotta love the fan blowing his hair while playing, lol
VHB tape for the squier kirby guitar my dude.
Yea I got stronger tape it's all good now
2:22 me thinking to myself single coils suck Hears the single coils “ fuck that’s good “
Why don’t you just use Velcro strips to hold the battery in the pink squire. I believe that tacky reusable putty things should hold decently too
Cause that shit would have to stick just like tape... which it doesn't
I've solved the problem though
Yeah I was surprised when I got my Cort J-bass copy. These things are huge and mine is 35 inch, even worse lol

I like light Frybanez 🎸
For that pink guitar just get a battery clip, some Gorilla epoxy glue, and just glue the clip inside the pickguard. Problem fixed!
All it took was some stronger duct tape! 😎😎
Hi Kaylen
Why no expansive guitars?
