Many people doesn't realize but Lea Salonga gave an opportunity to our country for Filipinos to be discovered more. she was an epitome of what pure Filipino talent is. and I don't understand why people criticize her a lot by "Broadway" lang yan. but then people doesn't realize how hard it is to be Asian, or being another race to be a part of Broadway. it internalizes discipline and great talent. and somewhat people doesn't realize that this woman brought pride to our country and one of the reasons why the Philippines is famous for having people that have great talent. it just boils my blood that other Filipinos doesn't appreciate her, but in other countries she is a goddess. I just hope younger kids would recognize her, and cherish her as a national treasure.
