The MG43 is the sickest support weapon, especially against bugs. It can handle basically every situation solo, except for a bile titan.
It's great if you're an aggressive MG'er who gets in the mix and acts as the tip of the spear. It's great if you're supportive player who likes to give cover fire and rescue teammates. It's great for defensive situations and ambushes, you just go prone and lay down a wall of pain.
I love the dang thing. Great example of a skilled team coming together, this video.

I used to be a Stalwart main for bugs, but with the number of armored enemies once you go above difficulty 6, you're spending too much time/ammo on single targets that the Stalwart just can't keep up anymore. The extra penetration and damage from the Machine Gun definitely starts outclassing it at D7.
they have their own pros and cons that makes the game divers considering which weapon to pick. good luck👍
Yeah, the MG43 is probably the best weapon for dealing with swarms of medium armor bugs. On helldive difficulty there are overwhelming amounts of hive guards, brood commanders, bile spewers and stalkers which are almost immune to primaries, but too numerous to counter with dedicated AT weapons. I used to focus more on dealing with chargers and titans, but ever since I switched to the MG43+AR guard dog and mowing the forementioned enemies I have much more success because my team doesn't get so easily overwhelmed.
I know it says no commentary but did you three have comms or is this just what 3 of the greatest helldivers looks like 😎

I'm glad to see videos like this among the overwhelmingly negative dirge of people crying about the incendiary breaker and flamethrower (which is still OP). Half the HD2 community seems to need youtube/reddit to tell them what weapons to use and then riot in unison when those very few weapons get a tiny setback.
How it is possible to kill charger leg by knives? Bugged?

it's still S tier with supply pack I guess😄
It still annihilates the weenies and little bugs. But you have to keep an eye on your ammo and reload, meaning you have to think slightly more. Still strong IMO.
What do you think of this patch notes?
weapon balancing part is disappointed me :(
bug fixes are good though.
It's not possible to knife the chargers after the update. 😢 I am very disappointed Arrowhead.

Thanks for the heads up, I am almost at 1000sc and was aiming to get the vipers warbond specifically for the knife. Now I might save the sc for something else.
@@sowl17 yeah I hope so, because I learned this from your videos just recently. And I enjoy it more than the usual stun and precision strike. It involves more skill in my opinion.
