@Sarge94 doubt they already said they wouldn't, just that they were "taking a look at it" and given the fact the entire community acts like infants over the fact that a flamethrower can't burn through armour that resists AT rockets and a shotgun that kills your own teammates more than the enemies was nerfed in favour of multiple weapons with the exact same vibe but much less annoying, I doubt they'll nerf the Commando even if if 1 shot Hulks the worst I see is them making it only 1 shot fabs if you hit a vent, which would be kind of annoying but understandable
I use almost this EXACT loadout to speedrun objectives. I run eagle smoke instead of eagle strike, though, and I prefer to disengage from fights rather than push through them to save on time.
If you swap to a weapon as an artillery shell is still traveling to your hands, you can throw the shell. Timing is a bit difficult but once you get the hang of it it's a lot faster than doing the stutter step.
i tried this loadout on a level 10 lobby with randoms, and holy fuck i got only one death (it was the dumb physics engine). i might be goated, i took out the fortress solo
So, I have a genuine question about the Automaton head (and Terminid vile canister respectively). Do you HAVE to carry it around the map while completing objectives, or can you drop it off at extraction while you go off to complete the other objectives?

Personally I think the commando is kind of a boring weapon to bring. However that's only when people just use it to snipe fabricators in the distance and never actually engage with any outposts. Using it like you would any other support weapon to actually take down heavy enemies is completely different and actually makes it fun to watch someone running a mission with it and I appreciate that you used it to its full potential instead of just shooting fabricators from across the map
I wonder how many tries he need to put out one video because you can get those lucky seed where you just need to kill one patrol on the location where you. If that patrol was larger and had enemies with ballistic shields or patrols came in from both or 3 sides that would be bye bye John helldiver, and I can't tell how many times the problem is not completing the objectives. It's getting away from it afterwards. And objectives with steps and loading usually get swarmed faster than you can say ABC. So I applaud sarge for completing this but as you can see he always runs from a fight unless there are only 3-5 enemies that he can kill and in my opinion that's not fun, thats the devs not have a clue what they are doing.. Just wait until everyone walks around with full laser loadout next week and how long the weapons will work like they do currently
At this point, AH should just put two GAME MODES: CASUAL: the game mode with no nerfs, will never nerf nor buff anything and revert all the "balancing" of weapons and strategems from the very first patch - perfect for, of course the casual who just want to have fun and chill and that is very fair for them actually. And, this is most especially for the obnoxious loud crybabies who are at this point are just karens of gaming or people just love to have the attention of DRAMA and like turn this game to a.k.a. "just another horde shooter game." HELLDIVER: this is where the devs can implement WHATEVER they want to the game. Nerfs, buffs, so called balancing, any mentality, perspective and philosophy they want for helldivers 2 for whatever reason, and just tell people that play this game mode to adapt, be creative, make your own "meta" and just GIT GUD! Now, everyone can be "happy." 😎
