  • @nerdlove1071
    @nerdlove1071 2 года назад +230

    1:43 intro by James Langer
2:43 judge is talking about covid positive juror, then asks if the jury was exposed to any media, etc. everyone says no.
6:22 *Dr. Agnieszka Rogalska* , the medical examiner. If you want to skip past her background to the point: 10:45 She examined Krista's legs that were found :( Poor Krista. The Dr thinks some sort of sharp force trauma happened to the legs, but that it happened after death. (Thank god.) Also, because the legs were found in pieces, the Dr. uses her judgement to say that the pieces were from the same leg, and uses DNA to determine that at least some pieces were from Krista. She can't get a cause of death from the legs beyond "homicidal violence." Brief cross at 55:08
1:00:37 *Deputy Michael Wilk* again. He's here to testify about the lights in the fireplace window and the garage again. Nothing new really, if you saw the other testimony from that video expert the other day.
    1:11:15 James Langer commentary
1:31:20 *Christina Figuero Soto* , forensic anthropologist. If you want to skip past her background to the point: 1:38:59
3:19:27 cross. my favorite cross. "you couldn't determine if the bones came from one human or from six humans, is that right?" Is the defense trying to imply that Chaz was a serial killer?
    3:22:04 James Langer commentary
4:22:20 *Andrew Smith* , a ray of fcking sunshine. He's that friend of Chandler's, former military, the guy who gave Chandler the gun Chandler used to kill Bart and Krista, and the guy who may have given Chandler the idea of pretending to have a head injury b/c he has a past injury that may or may not be responsible for his odd behavior/mannerisms. He says "Sir" a lot but manages to seem incredibly rude throughout. Kind of amazing testimony really. highlights: 4:28:42 4:32:30 (I just think it's funny how he says "anything like THIS" ) 4:51:45 watch about 2 minutes from here until he says how broke he is. 4:54:20 he calls the defense lawyer sir 4:58:30 she asks a question that he tells her "none of your business"
5:00:08 Greetings! It's *detective Clint Seltzner* ! He searched Chandler's bedroom and found a bunch of phones including the burner phone, and some other stuff
5:12:08 *Alex Gravatt* an old friend of Chandler's, testifies that they liked to swim at a location near where Krista's legs were found
5:16:10 *Dakota Brown* another ex-girlfriend, looks a lot like Cat in my opinion, also testifies about swimming at that location. Also that he claimed to dive for the police department. God she looks miserable. poor girl.
5:19:55 *Paige Valenta* , with the police department, here to testify that the police department doesn't even have a scuba team and that Chandler was never employed there. She's on the stand for less than a minute.
5:21:38 *Detective Shunt* back on the stand testifying about some items in evidence, like the bag of bloody rags, and the rope Chaz used to drag body parts around, etc.
    5:39:40 James Langer commentary
6:01:25 we're back with *Jessica Crawford* , she's a firearms and toolmark examiner.
6:11:30 *Laura Matson* latent print and footprint examiner. She found one of Chaz's fingerprints on the bloody tarp, also some footprints that are consistent with at least one of his pairs of shoes.
6:45:35 *Meghann McMahon* , trace evidence examiner . She tried to compare the piece of rope they found at the house to the rope around Bart's torso but there wasn't enough detail. She also compared some pieces of duct tape found on the tarp to the roll of duct tape found at the Halderson house, and found that the pieces connected to each other and to the roll at the house. she also compared some broken pieces of saw and found a match between a piece found at Cress's farm to a piece found at the Halderson home. after that they decide to break for the day.

I've watched all 6 days and now working through day 7. This is my first time finding a complete unedited trial of this calibre. I'm fascinated with how professional the courtroom is, yet it's friendly and even relaxed. Considering the subject matter, that seems amazing to me. It's all been very educational!! Thank you Channel 3000. I've been fascinated by the legal process and am impressed with how "clean" the proceedings are. Everything the prosecution is showing seems to be very well thought out, organized, and above all thorough. I'm so impressed with the judge that he's nearly made me want to go back to Uni to be one. As for the defence.... geez, I think I could defend Chandler better and that's even with the unfortunate belief that he did this horrible crime. Everyone deserves a fair trial, regardless of perception, or whether public opinion thinks he did it. We're all innocent until proven guilty. His defence team just feels like they were rented. I really hope, in the interest of fairness, that the defence actually has a reasonable presentation on behalf of their client when it's their turn to present their side. As it stands, it just looks like Chaz is the only person who could have done this. There's been no pushback at all from the defence in cross-examination. I would not want his defence team for a parking ticket, much less a murder trial. Perhaps that's just his karma...

He is legality entitled to affective, capable, legal representation. If they did not do anything to dispute or question whatever they could, Chandler could appeal, ask for a mistrial and even get off for incompetent representation, ineffective representation, clinic conflict of interest, etc. Yes, the evidence is overwhelming, but they have to make sure his legal rights are all met so nothing can be used to lessen his sentence or punishment!

The blood on the bottom of the soles was positively identified as the blood from both his mother and father. The footprints on the tarp was a positively identified as only those shoes that could have made those tracks. Lastly, Chandler's fingerprint was found on the outside of the yellow tape that was found inside the trash bin, where the blood on the tarp and inside the bin were positively identified as being from his father. From what I can gather, I think that Chandler's biggest concern was everybody finding out about all of his lies, which would cause him to lose his girlfriend and just generally feel like a loser. He was stupid enough to think that he could get away with it.
Because he doesn't feel anything for the people he killed, they were an obstacle to his inheritance. What I find even more disturbing is how he looks so harmless and I think the people that were around that week are lucky that they didn't catch or confront him. They came pretty close.

The barrier to entry is super steep and corps just don't "hire people and see how it goes", you need to "prove your worth" BEFORE you get hired, that means building your portfolio up AND getting a comp sci degree from a REPUTED college.
You have absolutely no idea how hard it is to be a gamedev. It's not as "easy" as making your hair and nails, making pottery or making "some music" with a random instrument. And it's clear that you are a person who hasn't wrote a single line of code in their life.
In layman's terms, you can think of it like rocket science. Yeah, sure, you can make a few pop soda rockets in your backyard for "funsies", but that's just it. You need some sort of a specialization like you know, gameplay programming, backend programming, art and VFX, etc. The most "common jobs" in gaming these days is QA and that's what an "QA engineer" in gaming earns in a 3rd world country.

Let’s be honest the 30-60 second videos on the site should persist but how about that long form content over here?

This kid reminds me of the other guy that killed and dismembered his parents. Pretty much same circumstances. Parents were tired of totally supporting their lazy selfish immature sons. Sons decided to kill parents. One boils his Mom's head in a pot on the kitchen stove. The other burns his parent's heads in the fireplace. Maybe hands too. I want to know why the hell they do such horrid things to the people that gave them life?? I imagine in my mind's eye the parents teaching the sons how to walk...ride a bike...catch a ball...pet a kitten or dog...how to tie their shoes...how to tie a tie...comforting them when they were sick or bullied...helping them learn how to drive...holding their hand when they were little. How do these young men turn so ungodly hateful to their parents to the point of not only killing them but heinously dismembering them and burning them or putting them in a barrel of acid????? These sons were not molested. Mentally or physically abused. Just told hey it's time to grow up and get a job and get on with your lives. What's strange is that they all have a brother who is normal, has a family, wife and kids, works, has a home....Just like Grant Amato. The one wierdo in the family that decides to kill their parents because they're told to grow up and be a responsible adult. My God. This is insane!!!

It’s mind boggling! Other siblings in the families you mentioned were all successful. They all grew up in the same household , yet it basically turns out to be the youngest child that decides to annihilate his parents! What makes these particular “boys” decide that murder and dismemberment is going to be the answer to all their problems! Grant Amato and Joel Guy should start writing to Chandler to check compare notes…..they are all so similar.

@@joycemarie9702 a thing I’ve not seen addressed re: the Guy case is his sexual orientation and how that may have been a factor in his family dynamic. Halderson appears to have been treated/inappropriately sheltered like a “kid” well into his twenties.
I’m surprised that there is no psychological research/input from defense in either of these cases. Both were very sloppy in commission of their crimes & guilty beyond reasonable doubt.
it would be helpful to understand more about this common puzzling profile.

I know. In this case I feel very sorry for both parents but Krista was a stay at home mum and devoted 25 years of her life to just raising her boys and this is how one of them repaid her. He even had the cheek to text her beforehand (after killing his dad) and ask her to bring some soda home and she probably did. And now neither parent gets the decency of a proper resting place. And yes, ok, they might've been over protective parents who wouldn't even drink alcohol in front of their kids but that's not a reason at all.
