      Soul has flat burrs grinders which are more consistent and more expensive that can pull consistent espresso grinds every time
      Eletta adapts a cheaper Conical burrs grinder which is used by most other machines.
      Both machines have 19 pressure bars.

    Can you make a comparison video between the Eletta Explore and the Primal Donna Elite. Both new coffee automatic machines at a premium price. I see that the Eletta has so many more options some of them really important like the ability to make an Americano or to brew a travel size drink, not to mention all the cold drinks. With this in mind I don’t understand why the Prima Donna Elite is more expensive. I guess my main question is what makes the prima donna elite better than the Eletta explore to justified the higher price.

    • @WalterSchultz-nx6pi

      It's about the grinder, Sir. Primadonna adapts flat burrs grinder which is more expensive and can get you more clear espresso. Eletta adapts a conical burr grinder which is a cheaper one. I think it would be astronomical price if the machine was able to brew all these 50+ drinks with a flat burr grinder. =))

    Hi. What do you set the grind setting at when making an espresso shot? Thanks

    • @ecscoffeeinc
      @ecscoffeeinc  Год назад

      Hi!
      There's no right or wrong setting. Every machine, every environment, and every bean will be a little bit different. If your shot is pouring slow and tastes sour, then use a more coarse grind setting, alternatively - if it is coming out quite quick and has a bitter taste, then use a finer setting.
      And for the best performance, make sure to change the grind size while the grinder is running. It's like gears on a bike, if you change them when stopped, it doesn't work quite right.
      Hopefully that helps!

      Unfortunately the machine measures via seconds spent dispensing, not fluid ounces, which makes things a little difficult when you’re trying to fill specific cups. I asked customer service about it and they said it’s because the machine can’t tell what kind of milk you’re using, and dairy/plant milks dispense at different rates.

I have always been concerned that super automatic machines like this are somewhat gimmicky, and certain features will break as time goes on until the whole thing dies. I could be wrong of course. - Machines with more "tech" run the risk of having more issues
      - They do not make any appliance like they used to
      - You pay for what you get

    I am on machine #3 ( maybe going to #4?), talking to support who are good with communication, the milk foaming doesn't perform well, nothing like our previous 8 year old machine which I have already sold, otherwise this would have gone back for refund! The theoretical functionality of the machine is way better than the old machine however my opinion is that quality has been compromised! Seems to be a cheaper pump system because hot water out the side spout very weak thus the milk also affected! We were so enthusiastic, now very disappointed!
