Thank you for the review. Bought this unit for my wife for our 8th anniversary in a couple of days. Should save me some trips from her favorite Starbucks place. lol. Thanks again for the helpful information!
Thanks but the app isnt working for me at all so that section was useless. It seems we are a lot who are having problem with that app.. 😞 Delonghi should fix this bug asap
Hey there, sorry to hear that. This is not common feedback we get. Please connect with a DeLonghi tech agent and they can guide you through and troubleshoot directly with your smart device. Thanks!
Yes, however the protein and fat make up of the milk may alter the end results with regards to texture and foam. The best nondairy milks I like are soy, oat and almond.
Hey there, great question. No, the manual wand you see there is the hot water wand only. Then there are two carafes, the hot and the cold carafe for your hot and cold brews. Its a great machine!
Hi and thank you for the full review. HOWEVER I really do not understand how to get the bypass shoot to work. I've figured so much out but I can't find complete instructions. You mention it -but could you show us HOW IT WORKS? HOW TO GET THE BYPASS. Whatever I do, it grinds coffee. Maybe I'm being dense but I need some assistance. Thanks for considering!
Hey there, When you click on the "+" under the beverage it will bring you to the screen to adjust the volume and the strength. On the right side of the strength setting there is a 'scoop' icon. That is for the bypass. You can add one measured scoop of a preground coffee. Thanks!

What is the model? Eletta Explore ECAM452.57? Does it support Turkish Language? Please Can you check it for me ? Thank you in advance.
Hi, First off, thanks for the informative video. How would you compare the Eletta Explore with the model PrimaDonna Soul? Is the cold brew function the only difference between the two? Which one would you personally recommend?
Hi Chef, Great video, lots of detail. You showed where the 2 bean profiles can be set, Can Dark Roasted beans be used, aren't they usually too oily? How does the taste of the cold brew compare with a Jura? Thanks
Hey there, thank you kindly. Great questions. You can use a nonoily dark roast, we have the Intenso available here - www.consiglioskitchenware.com/collections/fresh-roast-espresso/products/consiglios-super-intenso-bold-premium-fresh-roast-espresso-22-lbs You can test any beans oiliness by putting them on a napkin. If you move them and there are oil marks, its too oily for the machine. We do sell nonoily locally roasted beans in Canada at the link above. Full-size Jura machines offer a larger brewing unit, that being said...It can accommodate more ground coffee up to 16 grams. Therefore, you can obtain a stronger fuller bodied yield. The DeLonghi Eletta Explore has the second largest brewing unit compared to the Jura. The cold brew is processed in a similar manner to the Jura's, at a higher pressure and slower pace to extract max flavour and aroma. I love the taste from both machines! The cold and hot brew coffee pot is lovely on the DeLonghi! Ciao for now!
Thank you for the reply, I had the opportunity to try a Jura and liked the cold brew very much. I trust your opinion and will try the Eletta soon, Ciao!@@Consiglioskitchenware
Hello there, I just got it today and after 5 shots, espresso comes out really bad, weak and watery (I had the same results with my gaggia magenta at first) could u tell me what’s your coffee mill adjustment ? Thanks !
Hey there, Thanks for the notes. This is directly related to the grinder setting. DeLonghi machines have 7 grind settings, I find lever 4 works best. The type of beans you are using are also important, ensure they are espresso beans and they are non oily. Pls see our getting best results video here - ruclips.net/video/CZYZG36JicQ/видео.html These tips can be applied to all automatic espresso machines. Ciao for now.
Hi, great video thank. I am thinking to buy a delonghi machine, but not sure which of them. Can I ask you if the bean adapt technology is a game changer? Did you try one espresso with that active and one inactive? Hope you can given your thoughts. Regards
Hey Nicola, Great question! The Bean Adapt acts as a built in coffee expert. Bean Adapt is available on the Coffee Link apt and guides you on the settings for best results depending on the type of beans you are using. It takes away the guess work on changing some settings if you are changing your type of bean from light, medium or dark roast options. I find it to be a useful extra tool that can save the user time and get straight to optimal results with the guided tips and suggestions provided. Thanks for the question. Have a great day!
Hey there, It is super simple! When you select your beverage, in the strength settings you will see a little 'scoop icon'. This is for the preground. Next, the machine will prompt you to add one scoop of preground. Finally, you select continue and the machine brews your beverage. Ciao for now!
Great question! Only a few ice cubes are needed to 'ice' the drink. The water for cold brew beverages comes straight from the water tank. It does not pass through the heating element of the machine. This allows for a true iced beverage experience without watering down beverages will ice. Thanks!
Thanks for the review. I was comparing this against the Jura S8 and Saeco Xelsis. Looks like the DeLonghi Eletta Explore Cold Brew is the best option for the price.
@@Consiglioskitchenware Thanks for taking your time and answering my question. I have posted the same question on several places and so far you are the only one who answered. Even the Eletta Explore owner's manual doesn't clarify this. Very kind of you.
Are you referring to the hot milk carafe problem after descaling? If so, this happened to us too. There's a Reddit thread about it, many people are experiencing this. We did our first descale and the carafe just would not work. Can't blame the carafe because I have another new one in a box, did the same thing. We did the kind-of fix found in the Reddit thread and it's working better, but the amount of milk coming out is absolutely less than before the descale. Seems it's a problem that Delonghi don't wish to address.
What's the difference between the De'Longhi Eletta Explore Fully Automatic Espresso Machine with Cold Brew and Eletta Explore, ECAM450.86.T? Both have cold brew. The first one claims cold brew under 3 mins and the ECAM450.86 claims under 5 mins. Eletta Explore, ECAM450.86.T is in the Delonghi website but not in the other stores like Amazon. Is that a new product?
Hi there, great question. We only carry the ECAM45086S. To the best of my knowledge, the only difference is that the ECAM450.86.T has a different frontal housing of metal vs plastic on the former. Both can do a cold brew in 3 minutes, however if you select the 'to-go, 16 oz' size it would take longer as the volume is greater and closer to 5 mins. Its a fabulous unit and offers a wide range of beverage options and personalization. Thanks!
@@Consiglioskitchenware Thank you for the explanation. Apparently, Delonghi posted the ECAM450.86.T posted on their website last night but removed it today. It might be Black Friday special that got posted too early.
I have a question whether this coffee machine has the same issue as the old ones. When the water tank doesn’t have enough water are you left with smaller coffee than usual? Or you refill the tank and then the coffee machine contiues making coffee?
Thank you for the detailed review

Can I save the coffee that is grinded already after I make my drink to use on the by pass part
Hey there,
No, you cannot. You will need to purchase preground espresso to be used in the bypass chute.
How does it sound Delonghi Consiglio Ultra for their next top of the line superautomatic?😊😊
It is one of the best, very much informative. You are excellent.

We do not sell this in to the USA. You can connect with a USA retailer.

@@Consiglioskitchenware but which one has the best tasting espresso?
Hello! I'm wondering what the maximum coffee strength translates into. Is it a 14 grams grinded coffee portion like the Dinamica Plus or more?
Hey Alberto,
Yes the brewing unit is the same size on the Eletta Explore as the Dinamica Plus.
Thanks!
