Thanks for the video. Found a cord on eBay for about $20 and installed using this video in about half an hour. Couldn’t find my needle nose pliers so I ended up just unplugging all 4 connections in the box which made install simpler. Used a small flat head to force the gaskets on.

What if the green light still comes on ,on the reset switch , and I actually bi passed the GFCI box to a direct plug in , and the crazy thing in my situation was when I did this the unit got a quick jolt of power for a split second and the back to nothing . At this point would it be smart to look at the on / off dial on the front of my unit? Thanks ...ps) will they work if u bi pass the GFCI box anyway? Thanks great video

Can I take out GFCI cord from husky 1650 psi pressure washer and connect it to my greenworks 2000psi pressure washer?

I’m have the same or similar problem. I plug in the plug to the outlet. The GFCI light is green but the pressure washer light does not turn on. When I press the reset button it sounds like the pressure washer motor wants to kick on but stops after about a second. Could this be a power cord issue or just the assembly? I inspected the cable and found no cracks. Thoughts?

I ordered the electrical cord for my Ryobi 2000 psi washer. the new cord has a ground wire. ( 3 wires in total).. Do I need to ground the cord? You don't seem to show that step in your video, which, by the way is very informative. Thank you!

I ran over my cord once with a Dodge neon on pavement do you think that could have damaged the internal cord or do you think it's the GFCI that's bad

Do you possibly know how to remove the housing on the Ryobi 1600 psi pressure washer (Model # RY141600)? Mine doesn't have screws like yours.
