Hi, I have a Ryobi 2300 psi 1.2 gpm electric pressure washer. It's possible to add a pressure switch?? I don't like that I have to turn on and off everything I'm not using it.
I'd be surprised if your machine doesn't have a pressure switch, I would bet it has failed if it doesn't shut the pump off when you release the trigger. Another possibility would be any kind of a water leak, from the hose, trigger wand, or pump. Leaking water will cause the pump to cycle on and off, or stay on continuosly if the leak is big enough. -Mark
Why replace motor and pump? Is it all one unit? I dought the motor and pump went out at the same time..
