I have a 25ft head same as that. I took the crop dividers off and in beans it's perfectly fine as long as you have clean beans if you have some tall grass like weeds it will bunch on the snout and then build up until you have a giant wad that can give you nightmares of plunging not that that happens on tr's love #love my harvester!
Put the snouts on. It’s a great visual as to what you are covering and helps with the harvesting next to the fence row. Also with lodged soybeans. I’m a big fan of them and it’s helps especially at night
Your channel always impress me how you ran old equipment and the corn reel setup last spring nothing wrong with upgrading Have you every considered being equipment jockey .Your getting a good start
We run the long dividers in both row and drilled bean - red letter 24' 973. Only time we seem to cuss them is along a weedy field edge as foxtail or other long weeds try to ride on the snout. Pick a row and run it. 960 is the old top drive bean head, 962 was the corn head.
Thank you, I couldn't remember my numbers. I will be so glad to get away from the old style bean head. I worked, but this looks of much better design ideas.
Always exciting to bring home new equipment !
Looking forward to the next big surprise! Video! Nice work gentlemen 👍

The long dividers help the auto header height control.short snouts for the rigided mode like wheat..

Michael Murphy if cut in an angle it’s helps feeds in the header a lot better
Very nice addition to the farm. Looking forward to see more videos of it in action.
Your killing me! I have to wait for the next video!!!!
Actually, it's about three videos away.
The excitement in your voice is mind numbing.,...Jack Baker
This boat boat runs a very even keel.
@@boehmfarm4276 I like that
NIce. Video looks very crisp and clear!
Hopefully 3rd times the charm with the combine?

Yeah, less head loss from short beans setting on the sickle, but more chance of rocks. Guess that's what rock doors are for.
Nice upgrade, hope she pulls her weight for ya boss man
Exciting stuff Jacob.
Love it seems Shiloh approves that's what matters
I just about bought one like that for the 99
1-1/2" knifes suck from my experience. Folds under a lot of beans
Same here. The 3” does better. We changed ours from the 1 1/2”. Did better.
Our red letter 24' 973 came with an SCH installed, we added a roller kit. Really like cutting beans with it.
Those are so the floating head will read the contour better.
Excellent
Nicely done 👍
Oooh can’t wait for what’s coming
Different brand but on a case ih bean head the end snouts need to be on for the header to work correctly.
Should of went with a red one, but this will work I guess
Well it's better than a green one
There all Basically the same
matt da farmer fuck no
👍👌🇨🇦❤
Why did you put the header wagon on a trailer
nice
What was that fuzzy white thing in the grain head 🐭🐁 😕
Could be from one lonely farmer
Same thing I was thinking. That's probably why Wes went home ..
Hopefully but remember this video was shot 3 weeks ago.
ok 3 videos away to see the new to you combine, right?
Maybe 4
Why didn’t you just pull the grain cart behind the truck. It would’ve been less pissin around and saved you tons of time.
We came from West Central Illinois to Ohio with this buggy. 400 miles isn't what I'd call a fun trip on golf cart tires.
awesome do more can you do a mine
Tr time??
