- The PRS Wind Through the Trees dual analog flanger pedal is best described as two flangers fighting each other, resulting in a sound reminiscent of the wind whipping through the trees. With Manual, Depth, and Rate controls per flanger as well as global Regeneration and Added Highs, Wind Through the Trees offers nearly endless tonal possibilities. Bottom line, Wind Through the Trees offers hours of fun for any player.
PRS pedals were created to be high-end pieces of audio gear.
Designed by PRS Guitars in Stevensville, MD, USA. Made in the USA.

I took the survey everyone wants that horse but I’m here for this.
On my radar for 2023.....!!!!!
As always, I really like the "PRS approach" here - not just making a pedal to sell it to PRS fanboys but making something unique and truly interesting. Can't wait to try these out.
To be honest when I saw add for new product I haven't thought about pedals at all. Though once I've seen this two it makes sense and being PRS product well it has to be great. This very much might be best flanger ever. There are some awesome sounding new flangers like the Camoflange but this one gives you so much more control and sounds awesome to.
This pedal ROCKS!
Why all these manufacturers not making pedals stereo. It's got two lfos so would be true stereo too. Even if not stick a dry output on it. Boss was doing it back in the 80s and boutique guys can't do it now.....
i just won this pedal on PRS’s instagram giveaway. I am beyond excited for its arrival! Besides playing a couple of their guitars, the Horsemeat pedal was my first PRS experience and it’s been my go to ever since!
Thanks for letting us demo this pedal for our channel and give our honest opinion!
Just checked your video out. What a beautiful Special PRS! Great video too!
Great song
For the price of $349, why isn't this stereo?
......and why doesn't it do 'thru-zero'......?
Sounds great, but it’s missing some features that for me would allow it to replace the flangers I already love/use:
1. aux jack allowing the ability to plug in an aux switch and jump back and forth between the two flangers or act as a momentary activation switch.
2. An expression jack allowing you to manually blend the two flangers in real time.
Awesome, probably should get one!
First moment I heard about the mixknob i thought “expression control“, maybe an idea for V2🤠
The flanger is the one I’m most interested in.
Nosa o som Deli e maravilhoso muito bom de ser ouvir
Was about to say that it sounds very 80's style
Sounds great but whoever designed the layout (knobs and footswitch locations) must have infant sized feet with extreme precision dexterity. I would bump those controls every time turning it on and off. I guess leave it "always on" and route it through a pedal switcher?
Yeah, id have to pull that knob off above the switch and probably put a barefoot topper on it.
@3:26 it says it can accept up to 18v, but the manual says only 9v. Which is correct?
Does rate speed go into audio rate? Can lfos be disengaged completely so that the pedal can be used as a comb filter? Thank you.
Whenever I am alone with you, you make me feel like I am home again..
PRS, you should have included thru zero flanging.
This could use an input jack for an expression pedal to blend the two signals, hands free.
That's a great idea... Hmmm...
Your playing reminds me of The Smiths and Johnny Marr.
I just wish that the switch was set away from that knob though... I feel that knob's pot will be an Achilles's heel for this pedal.
No Dirty Channel Rhythm and Solos?
This looks really nice and with it being analog, it has the chip set which sounds better than digital flangers from other company's
Bring back the standard treble and bass pickups
I imagine the prices will be insane, which is unfortunate. Why would I spend a ton on money on a NEW pedal with NO reputation over something that is tride-and-true and iconic?
I saw all three. There’s nothing new here.
function, value, dependability
@@rmmst49 this has none of those lmao
If money means nothing to someone, why not ! Definitely a nice sounding flanger.
Activate by thumb seems to work... I guess it's a thumb box, not a stomp box. The dry/wet knob placement looks worrisome, and yes stereo.
Mono? Shelf!
Sounds like my bf2

"After many months of careful research, prototyping, and guitar playing we bring you Horsemeat, Mary Cries and Wind through the Trees"
That's what you're gonna call them??? Through all your "research" no one told you these names are lame AF???
Bang My Balls On The Rocks, Taint Zone and Golden Showers were taken.
@@carvinblack have you heard about their Hairy Anus fuzz?
@@carvinblack Bang my balls on the rocks and The taint zone are one in the same aren't they ?
But then again these pedals are made for boomers lol
Ads should be held back for a week or two... I skipped it because I'm not paying for something and pumping up ad revenue. It's a nuisance to see an ad up for something I want to buy and have wait it out.
Nice pedal, but IMO: If it doesn't do 'thru-zero', it's not a flanger.......it's a chorus pedal.
Whether it’s your opinion or not, doesn’t change the fact that this is a flanger. Very few few flangers do zero-through; The only two that come to mind are the Catalinbread Zero Point and the Strymon Deco.
@@darwinsaye .....and the Foxrox TZF.
Too big for these days. Think big build small.
Horrible just way to big its outrageous to be that big with smd component sizes being offered in 2022. Why no stereo output jacks? or output phase invert switch? It would have been better to make the same pedal in a "1590B chassis" with envelope sens modifiers to trigger the flangers
@David Settimi depends on the circuit it might make a difference if it's sensitive to impedance and reactance but most circuits use 90 degree angles which should change the tone or unwanted phase shift angles added to the audio signal.
Interesting little chat. It seems that the high end high fidelity myths are about to enter the guitar industry. Don‘t get me wrong, (really) cheap electronics, cables etc result in inferior sound. In regard to cheap cables for example, I believe it is in most cases cheap jacks and poor soldering connections and the same applies to PCBs. But going down to the PCB traces angels sounds to me like some of these Voodoo debates when it comes to Hi-Fi. Maybe we should enter into point to point wired pedals. We then would be kicking shoe boxes on stage or in our studios.
@@Michael-bm8hi the hi fi debate has been around for quite a while
Add to your list that knob is way too close to the footswitch
Good vid, and no doubt it's a nice looking pedal however, no one but you (on or off) stage will ever see it. I'm sorry but this pedal is just so "VANILLA", for the extreme asking price of $34900 new.
I can get three brand new, stage tested, decent pedals for what this one pedal costs. Just my 2 cents worth. Peace.
Nice pedal but £350 is completely unrealistic with so many other choices out there. If it was priced sensibly I'd buy one
