I predicted Bengals win out and then that means Bengals will have beat every in the AFC playoffs...then plz plz plz give us Chargers to end this stupid conversation
I love how the Bengals defense gets absolutely no credit for the success of the Bengals considering they're the real stars. Last year's playoff run was that defense holding it down. They forced 2 turnovers against the Raiders, 3 against the Titans, 2 against the Chiefs and 2 vs the Rams. That's a huge reason had success in the playoffs. Burrow played decent, but he wasn't exceptional in any game. You're gonna win most playoff games when your defense gets you multiple extra possessions per game. By comparison, the Chargers had the 29th ranked defense. Just utter trash. Even this year, Chargers have the 28th ranked defense while the Bengals are 11th. I love Burrow but I can't say he's better than Herbert. The only thing going against Burrow is that o-line, but Herbert's o-line is similarly bad (I think they're fairly close is sacks) and he doesn't get bailed out by the defense ever.
I agree. Burrow played well last year, did a good job during the playoff run and was hurt by his offensive lineman but he wasn't THAT good. The Bengals defense just doesn't have that one guy who captures the headlines, nor was it so overwhelmingly dominant that it became legendary, it's just a bunch of good players who all played their roles well and played terrific defense throughout the playoffs, though the Chiefs game plan in the second half just being outright dumb helped contribute. The Bengals were the epitome of a team that got hot at the right time and a defense that played good defense but more importantly made great plays at the right time. They may have given up some yardage but they made big plays to offset it but unfortunately for them Burrow got all of the credit.
...not that Burrow is on their level just yet. I'm a Bengals fan and I even cringe at the Brady comparisons. Gotta win at least a couple before we get to that conversation, regardless of the similarities in their play.
@@escooper33ify That's not what they are comparing to Brady you have to listen to it his processing speed is through the roof he is better at quarterbacking than any of the new quarterbacks he may not be as physically gifted but hes just better at the position
Tell me that Zac Taylor has a winning record with Burrow and terrible without, while Brandon Staley is .500 with a ‘generational’ QB. This is nonsense, Herbert hasn’t even gotten to the postseason to prove that he can overcome that specific hurdle (yet). Getting to the postseason matters a little bit
Both guys are perfect for the situation they were drafted into. I wouldn't trade anyone for Burrow as a Bengals fan and I m sure Chargers fans feel the same way about Heribert.
Joe Burrow gives you incomparable advantages… lol If Burrow were a Charger Ja’Marr Chase would be a Charger. Joe would see that it gets done. Joe is such a catalyst for good things to happen to an organization. Like when the Bengals have to let one of their great WRs go they’ll probably get ODB on discount and keep right on winning with that LSU connection. If Herbert were a Bengal Zac Taylor would have gotten fired by now. Justin shows you how great your offense can be given it’s pieces. He’s going to maximize them and that exposes bad coaching and bad GMs. The story of the Bengals. Joe runs the offense he’s comfortable with and the HC and GM support him. Justin is a sports car. Joe is a driver.
Perfect analogy. Justin definitely has more wow plays. Joe is just a surgeon. He drives culture, he drives winning, he’s an awesome teammate. I don’t think Cincy would be where we are with Herbert but it’s an interesting comparison because they are so different.
Ya you’re right honestly! I’m sure Joe willed the defence to totally carry the day during the playoffs. Trash Justin didn’t stop his defence from allowing HB draws on 3rd and 22 in a big moment. Shit player.
Herbert is better, he’s asked to do more than Burrow. The chargers rarely win when Herbert doesn’t have a big game, the bengals have won plenty of times with Burrow having an average or even below average game.
Burrow is asked to do a lot more quit making excuses for Herbert he’s got Kennan Allen ,Mike Williams Austin Ekler & more dude just don’t have that killer will like joe Burrow,;Joe burrow makes his team better;makes his team believes ;what has Justin Herbert ever won ?,he had a chance last year to take his team to the playoffs & failed just imagine if joe was put to that task.
@@joerice2109 yes, I am a chargers fan. Basically all of the stuff that burrow has proven over Herbert is just team achievements. Herbert would likely do the same on the bengals.
@@bensker3432 Team achievements are not something to judge a QB by. Sure burrow has better stats this year, but he has a top 3 receiving group. Including a top 3 WR. They also haven’t been nearly as hurt as the Chargers receivers this year.
As someone who has watched prob 70-75%+ of both Herbert and Burrow's snaps, Burrow is the better qb today. He has the better pocket presence (which is saying something bc Herbert's awareness is great too), he is more accurate, and the biggest thing of all is: when the bengals need a play, he delivers just about every single time. He literally has never shrunk once in big moments. So many people try and discredit him on that superbowl run, but every single time he needed to do something, he delivered. Also, Burrow has been on an absolute tear WITHOUT his top weapons this year, so that argument again is stupid. Herbert obviously has the physical tools which I know people are enamored by, but lets not act like Burrow is not a great scrambler, has great zip and ball placement, and they are also both equally great at throwing outside the numbers. They are both top 4-5 qbs, and Herbert could def pass him, but right now and especially after what we've seen this year, its Burrow all day.
@@ThisIsAnubis That is one of the most absurd things i've ever heard. There is no point even arguing with you because if thats how you really feel I dont even know what to say. Crazy

I’ve often said that Herbert is the most talented athlete at the QB position I’ve ever seen. But, Joe looks and feels like what you should be able to do as an NFL QB to consistently wins games. I’d take either Guy but I’d have to give the edge to Joe especially since technically his franchise historically is worse than the Chargers even tho it’s arguable either way.
I don’t think this is a terrible take even though I disagree. But I don’t know if historical play by the franchise is something to base these opinions off of.
@@Sproles11 what I’m trying to say is that I believe in both guys but, I think Herbo is far and away the superiors talent. The problem is that Joe just has something that’s hard to quantify that’s getting his team to constantly play above its head. From what I’ve also heard is that H isn’t quite as vocal of a leader as some QBs so perhaps it’s a leadership trait that may be slightly lacking. But, all that being said, both are unreal to watch! And it’s incredible how the majority of the elite QB talent is in the AFC!
@@meatusshaft300 does the team play above its head or are they just a better team? Top 3 WR room in the league, better defense than the chargers, better coaching than the chargers, better run game than the chargers (narrowly). You’re right though, great QB talent in the AFC for the next 10+ years. May be the best group of all time in one conference
@@Sproles11 I think it is the best ever! Patrick, Josh, Joe, Justin, Lamar (as of now), Deshaun (when he’s not a predator), Trevor (if only Urban was never there in the first place!), and we’ll see about Kenny in PIT but that’s THE WR University so he’s gonna have weapons to throw to and he’ll either put up or shut up by next season’s end to stick around, win or lose the division.
I don't deny Herbert is great. I just don't see how he's head and shoulders above his contemporaries. Imo, Burrow just commands this stuff better as the game stakes get higher. Edit: one thing that's always interesting to me whenever people talk about Burrow and Herbert, they almost never* talk about his coaching staff on offense and that a lot of these type of commentators, if you ask them and pin them down, they don't like Zac Taylor(and Taylor has been consistently been criticized by Bengals media and fans )and yet, Herbert is given more grace on that. Yet, Burrow still succeeding at a high level. it's been noted that ever since that Ravens game Burrow has taken over the offense playcalling more,it which is pretty remarkable in of itself.
Chargers offensive playcalling and coaching is still worse than the bengals though. And it’s likely not close. And the bengals can still fall back on a top 3 receiving group in the game when coaching fails. I know there have been some injuries there, but not as bad as the Chargers ones. Burrow almost always has better offensive playcalling and offensive weapons than Herbert. And you can pair that with a defense that isn’t laughable.
I knew if I looked hard enough, I would find someone with a take equally as bad as Emmanuel Acho but in reverse regarding Hebert. Balance has been restored.
But Acho’s point is validated by this. He never said Herbert was bad. He said he is really good. It’s people like this who say he is the greatest. Achos point was that he is loved off clips and stats and not off actually winning
I absolutely love how disgusted bill was with the taken, had a godfather moment felt like he was betrayed.Burrow is better then Herbert and the kid kept going on with why herbert was better but he was disgusted with it and I’m all for it
Can someone explain when Herbert took over the league? Google is unable to locate it, I am thinking alternate dimension maybe? There is no way Herbert processes defenses faster than Burrow. Better physical attributes, absolutely. More accurate and faster processing, calling BS on that.
You have to judge quarterbacks by what they do in difficult situations. Herbert’s never had it easy in the NFL, but he makes it LOOK easy. If he ever gets a premium situation (like SF of Philly this year) he will look amazing.
@Vesparius Dean-Gilberri Jr. he has arguably the best WR core in the league. With 2 solid RB’s Also a solid defense and great special teams. Herbert has never had EVER in his career.
And wins at every level... and has been better than Justin at every level(Including high school) so I'm confused. The ringer has been slinging hella hot takes on youtube lately 🥴
Don't let this distract you from the the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon.
These two and their Herbert swallowing was literally difficult to listen to. Burrow is so much better than Herbert it's silly to compare them. Attn to ringer employees: there is a gigantic difference between talent and skill. Herbert might be the most talented in the league. He is no where near the best. It's too bad they won't show the tape they are watching.
Completely ridiculous takes…I’ve seen each of these guys at least 20 times and there’s no way you can say Herbert is better than Burrow. We just saw Burrow almost run the table and take an average team with a below average line and below average coach…almost run the table and win the Super Bowl. Herbert couldn’t even beat the fucking Raiders with an already fired coach, at home, to get in the playoffs. And with Herbert…you can’t blame the line or the receiving corp because they are good to great. And sure the coach is an idiot but Burrow doesn’t have some genius coach either. One dude rises to the moment and one doesn’t. And I’ve watched Herbert shit the bed and play like shit when expected to dominate in a great matchup. In that scenario Burrow always delivers. And all that ridiculousness about “Staley talks about him like he’s a god”….you talk to any of the evaluators who worked with burrow coming out and most of them say he was the greatest qb they’ve ever come across at that age. Head to heart to arm…Burrow has something special that maybe only one or two guys can match. And I’m a freaking Ravens fan. I could care less about the Bengals or Chargers. Oh and I went to UO! So like I’m always rooting for Herbert and think he’s special. But he hasn’t shown anything to think he’s better at this point.
I’d lean Burrow because we’ve seen him do it in the postseason. But honestly can’t go wrong either way I think they’re both absolute studs. And anyone acting like one is clearly far better than the other is being disingenuous
@@joed4218 He was ok during the playoffs. Defense held the raiders and titans to 19 points. Burrow had two TDs in the first game. No TDs and an interception in the second game. Defense intercepted Mahomes 3 times and held chiefs to 24 in OT. Burrow played alright with 2 TDs and 1 INT. I’m not going to give Burrow all the credit for those wins. He played his part, of course. But it certainly went beyond him.
@@joed4218 of course. I still remember the chargers playing the bengals in the playoffs once. Dalton was BAD in that game. Burrow is special. I just contextualize the success differently than most
@@joed4218 And I guess that takes us back to the Herbert vs. Burrow thing. Herbert has consistently been top 3 in the league when pressured. He was #1 in his rookie year. Obviously there are only a handful of guys that could have brought the bengals to the SB, Burrow being one.
@@cameronwells82 Burrow got hurt in his rookie year & only played in 7 games tore his acl came back his first full season in the nfl & won the afc with a terrible o-line *legend**
I’d rather have Burrow but I can see why one chooses Herbert. Burrow to me is a better pocket passer and also provides leadership in ways Herbert doesn’t, not that Herbert isn’t a leader but Burrow is a huge positive in many ways in that department.
This is exactly how I’ve felt about Herbert. He is the definition of process oriented, however, Spanos needs to to nut up and get him a real coach. Can’t stomach him being wasted anymore
Solak is so bright and articulate and well-informed but looks like an 8 year old, I mean, I really want to just give him a cupcake and a hug. Love him.
That was laughable. Herbert has a bigger arm than burrow and that's it. From a accuracy perspective Burrow is the most accurate passer in the league and its not even a debate. Go watch any serious commentator review his film. My guy throws the most unstoppable back should pass in the history of the NFL. People say Burrow has okay athleticism and yet he has almost 300 yards rushing this season which far outweighs Herbert. Burrow processes the field much better as well and has way more responsibility at the line. Burrow is better in the clutch and is also an impeccable leader. Herbert is good for 2 crazy throws and a jumpball a game followed by crumbling in the 4th.
Obviously never watched Herbert play. You know nothing about how he plays, I’d argue Herbert is way more accurate than burrow, similar comp%, chargers have more drops and Herbert throws it away more. Bengals receivers create more separation than chargers receiver. I watch both of them and I think Herbert is way more accurate. Herbert hasn’t run very often this year, due to a lingering rib injury. Herbert is a very conservative running normally anyway. Herbert definitely processes the field a lot better I don’t think anyone does it better, burrow takes a lot of sacks which would indicate not making correct pre snap adjustment or pocket manoeuvre ability. Also Herbert has 13 game winning drives and burrow has like 7 so ya bad analysis on your part
Because you dont watch football ...If you think Burrow is more accurate than Herbert you need to get Drug tested. No, seriously. get drug tested. No need to lie and make up shit.
@@Sproles11 Go look at any of the recent QB school content on Burrow, a former NFL QB is the one who started making that claim from an unbiased position. Not a fanboy. You guys can enjoy watching Burrow again in the postseaaon while Herbert is on the couch.
Herbert hasn't proven anything at all. He's good but he hasn't made players around him better like Burrow has. Herbert doesn't have a killer instinct, he just possesses a pretty throw and physical attributes grab the attention more than intangibles. Burrows' processing power is off the charts. This year will be yet another year the Chargers can't get over the hump. Herbert = Rivers.
Little over the top in the discussion on how great Herbert is but he is doing a great job especially when you consider the circumstances. I still can't get over he's the same guy he was the last two years at Oregon and it just speaks to the poor coaching/scheme he had. He always had #1 pick ability and parts of his freshman year and a long stretch of his sophomore year he was definitely a top 2 pick at worst but his junior and senior year his play, accuracy, and decision making were so erratic I had some doubts about him but wasn't sure if it was the coaching. Glad to see he's turned into the quarterback he looked like he was going to be his first two years.
They sound like 2 nerds reading off stats on a sheet of paper that has never watched a single game of football. You can only take half of what these analytics guys say. What does the eye test tell you one guy is bigger strong faster and one guy plays it cool with a middle of the pact build but one guy wins a lot and one guy doesn’t but the guy that doesn’t win is better 😂 make it make sense.
Appreciate Steven's football knowledge and insight and commentary on football, particularly his Herbert film studies. Thanks so much, Steven! You are amazing...
is this a LA Chargers podcast? I think Herbert is talented and I'm rooting for him to have great success in the league but these guys are super biased on their opinion. I'll bet you if you took a poll today to NFL GMs on who would you rather have as their starting quarterback, likely 31/32 teams will take Burrow over Herbert. Yes just like these podcasters, I am super biased - a Bengals fan BUT I'm proabably more right than these two jokers.
These two have some of the goofiest takes ever. Herbert is more accurate than Burrow? Burrow had a better completion % last year and this year. Herbert has never even made the playoffs. Saying he's the most talented QB ever is a Ryan Hollins level bad take. Ever heard of Mahomes and Josh Allen? Both are more talented. Herbert is about to be out of the playoff picture…. Once again. He’s the next Kirk cousins, whenever theirs an important game the dumbass sucks. Only chargers fans are delusional enough to think he’s better than burrow. As of right now herbert isn’t even a top 7 QB.

When guys have to write dissertations about their guy being the better QB that means he's not. Going back and forth is meaningless. In 3 or 4 weeks you Burrow guys are going to have a few slices of humble pie. Joe is damn good. It's really not something to be debating but fanboys all ways have a beef with Herbert. We shall see in a game situation just like with Tua.
These guys know there stuff both are great QBs. Joe Lombardi has severly hindered herbert this season and expects perfection on ever stick concept its so bad. Doesn't open up the playbook for herbert and forces him into a checkdown merchant. Chargers fans been calling for lombardi every week now, I think burrow has one of the best supporting casts in the league with speed and ability after the catch where Justin has none of that. Herbert's defenses through 48 starts have given up the most points per game in NFL history let that sink in so the winning takes are riduclous, he's now in the playoffs and is above .500 in his career.
in terms of physycal abilities I'll take herbert but in terms of intangibles is burrow for sure, the guy is a winner and can help to turn a franchise around, herbie can have the drop jawline highlights plays but burrow its the type of peyton, andrew qb, a guy thay maybe dont excels in terms of physycal but its a guarantee that can turn a franchise around (obviously luck was a heck of an athlete but he was underrated in that aspect of his game cause he play more like a pocket passer just like other 2)
I've watched every Herbert game, and all but a couple of Burrow's, since the two came into the league. Both are elite and it's going to be awesome watching their careers unfold, but imo the quarterbacking ceiling belongs to Herbert, thats the point these guys are ultimately making. Although both have had to overcome bad peices and bad coaches around them, year 3 tilts the "doing less with more" argument firmly back to Herbert's court. And while you can't argue against Joe having more success from a winning/playoff perspective, he gets too much credit for the Bengals Superbowl run, while Herbert gets too much credit for the Chargers failure at making the playoffs. These guys are so close though that there is just no way this argument will be settled until their careers are over, and hopefully even then the disucssion will resemble something closer to MJ vs Lebron discourse. Both these guys are going to earn some hardware, and they both have potential to be NFL greats when its all said and done.
There isn’t a single Bengals fan (myself included) that would take Herbert over Burrow. Whereas I feel like some Charger fans would have Joe vs. Justin based on results. The reality is, Joe is just a winner. He commands the team. Personally, and this might be a hot take. While Herbert is in a vacuum probably more “talented” I don’t think he’s got the same disposition as Joe. I get he’s played through pain with the ribs and he’s a great kid, I just think Joe’s mindset and ability to command a team is unique. It’ll be interesting to see how it unfolds. All I know is there’s no QB I’d rather have in Cincy than Joey B. You can have Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, Hurts. I’ll take 9 anytime.
@@Terrencetidbits yeah the part about chargers fans would take burrow over Herbert is absolutely not true lol… I think cincy is the right place for Joey, but if you asked the other 30 franchises which guy they’d take, I’d bet all my money Herbert would get chosen by more GMs. The whole winner aspect is fair, but again, it goes back to what I’ve previously said. Burrow should not get credit when the defense wins him games. Herbert should not get credit when his defense/ST loses him the game. It’s fun to say wins are 100% on the QB, but it just isn’t true. But I could argue that when healthy the Chargers have just as much and more on the defensive side of the ball. I’m not knocking Herbert. I get he doesn’t have the best “situation”. The reality is when you’re great, you can elevate team’s with lesser talent/inferior coaching, ie Lebron. I just personally feel like if I’m in a foxhole, I’d rather follow Joe than Justin.
The D doesn't get enough love and respect, but every great championship level QBs have strong defenses helping them out. Look at Brady and Montana.
...not that Burrow is on their level just yet.

Getting to the postseason matters a little bit
he was two games above .500 when the video came out and now three games above.500
There going to the playoffs now
I'm here after Herbert just had a historic playoff meltdown.
Herbert hasn’t had a better defense than 23rd overall… let that sink in
Both guys are perfect for the situation they were drafted into. I wouldn't trade anyone for Burrow as a Bengals fan and I m sure Chargers fans feel the same way about Heribert.
Exactly!! Drop this stupid argument
Well said
Lol it really shouldn't be so refreshing to read a levelheaded and good-natured take.
Yea cause zac Taylor was considered a great coach before Burrow showed up.
Zac Taylor only won 6 games in 2 games before burrow showed up ,;make sense
Joe Burrow gives you incomparable advantages… lol
If Burrow were a Charger Ja’Marr Chase would be a Charger.

Lost all credibility at that point

Perfect comment, I really think it is like comparing Manning or Brady to Rodgers. Can’t deny any of their greatness but they all did it differently.

I dont think Burrow does anything better than Herbert I don’t know how this is even close tbh.
This was a terrible segment
I actually like these guys for the most part when they come on, but this clip is like a bad joke
@@jamal4717 if that's all he said I'd be fine, he also said Tua is better than Herbert, that's what invalidates his take on it.

@Vesparius Dean-Gilberri Jr. the important paper to look at is the injury report. He’s not had his weapons this year, and his O line was decimated.

Most unstoppable back shoulder pass ever? Definitely some clear bias here
Obviously never watched Herbert play.

Better than PFM? @Ruiz you sure?
Ruiz is ultimate burrow hater.
in terms of physycal abilities I'll take herbert but in terms of intangibles is burrow for sure, the guy is a winner and can help to turn a franchise around, herbie can have the drop jawline highlights plays but burrow its the type of peyton, andrew qb, a guy thay maybe dont excels in terms of physycal but its a guarantee that can turn a franchise around (obviously luck was a heck of an athlete but he was underrated in that aspect of his game cause he play more like a pocket passer just like other 2)
I've watched every Herbert game, and all but a couple of Burrow's, since the two came into the league.
If you think Herbert isn’t a winner, and isn’t constantly making winning plays, and doing more than enough to put his team in position to win, you aren’t watching charger football..
@@trailblazinn I wasn’t defining all, I was saying some might based on the results. I just feel like we had Herbert we wouldn’t have gone to the SB last year just like I feel the Chargers make the playoffs with Joey B. But yes, the Bengals have a good defense.
Good luck to the Chargers. I watch a lot of their games. Let’s revisit this in 2-3 years and see where we’re at.
@@Terrencetidbits I respectively disagree that Burrow takes last year’s chargers team to the playoffs, that def gave up over 27 ppg, there’s been one team in the last ~20 years that’s achieved that, and only like 3 with winning records (last years chargers included) but definitely like the revisit plans!! It’s too early to crown either one of these guys.
@@trailblazinn this has to be a joke right? Like saying who would I rather have Luka or Trae young! Lol burrow being Luka! This is not even close to me! Jb is a killer!
Tats wild bro Burrow processes way better than herbert.
100% not true at all watch a single Herbert game before you compare the two
What has Herbert accomplished
A lot. Snd the thing is he’s going to accomplish more because he’s like 24 and only in his third year
Who in the world put a camera in front of these guys and let them talk?.. 🤦♂️
Hmm....so, apparently you think herbert is more accurate...Career % Burrow 68.5% Herbert 66.6%
SO YOU'RE WRONG ABOUT THAT!
You say he throws more TD's... Career Burrow 81 in 41 game's (average 2 td per game) vs Herbert 90 in 46 games
So, if Burrow had played an extra 5 games like Herbert had, he woud had emded up with 1 more td then what Herbert did.
SO, YOU'RE WRONG ABOUT THIS ALSO!
All of that is just career numbers. If you'd like to just go off of this year only....well, its even worse for Herbert this year!
That’s because the chargers suck. More passing yards can also come from having to play from behind all the time. We have a better overall team with better running backs and better defense so QB play will be different there for so will yards. When we had the number one pick in Cincy everyone said joe shouldn’t come but joe is a leader something that Herbert is not and he changed the franchise in more ways than just on the field.
The chargers players and coaches always talk about how good of a leader Herbert is
4:38 Tf is bill talking about? Elway was average the first half of his career. Denver was just a really good team so that’s why they had success. He didn’t become great or win super bowls until the latter half of his career
Last time this happened. It was Herbert.
Herbert fans are delusional. He has not even taken them to a wild card appearance in the playoffs. Let alone win one. Meanwhile Burrow went to the SB after beating 3 teams including the Chiefs at arrowhead and the 1 seed titans IN Tennessee, with a horrific o-line, coming off the worst knee injury the league has seen since Bridgewater
That is because Justin herbert 13,056 yards more than any one ever 3 straight season
And a rousing 0 playoff wins to boot!
@@miket3910 Yawn. Here to talk American Football, contribute something of value please.
@@jamesamos2863 American football, great band
@@miket3910 It's World Cup season, a lot of people like to say Messi is not the GOAT because he's never won a World Cup. Sounds similar to your argument so I was making sure you know which sport we're talking about.
@@jamesamos2863 no not winning a World Cup is different than winning one playoff game. Why do we have to rush to say Herbert is an all time QB before he plays a single playoff game
Only reason anyone says Herbert is better is simply because he can throw it further. It’s honestly not even close burrow is either the first or second best qb in the nfl with Mahomes. Herbert is in the top 10 no doubt but there is levels
You know nothing about Herbert 👍
@@ThisIsAnubis yes I do Herbert is very very good but not in same class as Joe shiesty
@@MeloMVP100 you right Herbert S tier burry is mid.
@@ThisIsAnubis lmaoooooo
This is the most insane thing I've ever heard. Herbert hasn't even made the playoffs. Burrow been to the superbowl. How do ppl have a job at this? INSANE!
Defense & kicker got him there. Our idiot coach screwed up our chance. It wasn't Herbert's fault.
@luv3daysgrace1 please. Herbert's situation was way better coming into the league and he's not elevated the team at all. Same kinda record. No playoffs. Burrow took a 2-14 team to the Superbowl within 2 years with one of the worst o-lines ever. Herbert can't carry Joe's jockstrap in his suitcase.
Defence definitely carried them into the Super Bowl for sure
@ThisIsAnubis you ain't gonna win a superbowl without a decent defense. Ask Brees. Burrow is big time in big moments, that's the other reason.
@@PDG208 is he though? Didn’t they lose the Super Bowl after their offence failed a game winning drive? That’s kinda of the definition of big moment.
Burrow is best pure QB after Brady
Justin is good but time will tell how good.
Burrow literally made it to the superbowl with pretty subpar weapons besides a rookie chase, Higgins and Mixon. Herbert struggled to be an above .500 QB
Besides the rb who ran for over 1,200 yds and the wide receiver with over a 1,000 yds and the other receiver with over 1,400 yds what else did the poor guy have, lol? 😂😂😂
@@MrOctober44 you forgot a defense that completely carried that Bengals team to the SB. People give Joe WAY too much credit for the Bengals SB appearance..
@@trailblazinn Chargers have a defensive guy as an HC..it's your fault not us
My man said pretty subpar weapons and then proceeded to list a top 5 receiver, a top 5 back, the best WR2 in the league LMAO. Bengals defence played out of their minds in the playoffs.
@@paranoia_xo So it's Bengals fault they're good all of sudden? I thought people said they don't have a scouting dept lolol, let alone people mocking them for selecting Chase over Sewell
Ben Solak is the Ben Shapiro of sports.
Thought I heard a "great QB" that hasnt made the playoffs yet say somethin 😅 na fr only playoff winning QBs should be compared to Burrow
Chargers D gave Herbert 5 extra possessions and he lost that game....to a team in the worst division in the NFL.
Y'all need to shut down all that Herbert is top 10 nonsense.
Dude can't even take over a game that was gifted to him, let alone the league.
That's just utterly pathetic.
Haha...this is an L
Lol.. the fact that there is still an argument on this is laughable. If you take Herbert over Burrow you have literally lost your mind. On what planet does Herbert read defenses better than Burrow? WILD on that. Burrow will continue to lead his team so much farther than Herbert. Chargers are at risk of missing playoffs once again… y’all crazy fr. Have better takes.
o every planet ..fuck are you talking about... LMAO... Yall dont watch football.. Burrow slow ass defese reading is why he gets sacked so much
