not sure if I’d make a video about tutors but Id say that I believe tutoring can be of good aid, but there are a lot of tutors (who were just students) who have no education in teaching or understand fundamental pedagogical concepts. Most often they just build experience by just teaching lots of people and that also means that they won't clearly see the ways that they can improve their teaching significantly. I also think that a lot of tutors just teach the concepts themselves which puts a bandaid on the wound instead of actually treating it. What I mean by this is that they'll probably teach you a concept and it'll make sense but they'll mostly likely not have the adequate skills to learn the next concept on your own, so you'll come back for more tutoring to learn that next concept. This is not only unfair on the student (very pricey) but also goes against the point of tutoring which is to help students become independent learners by the time they get to university where there is less academic support. I hope that gives you a bit of an insight :)
