I am a very visual person! Your step by step tutorial is awesome! And I love that you share your insights on how and what products are best. I gain so much confidence watching you transform furniture! Thanks for sharing your work❣️❤️
What a great tutorial Kacha! I love how you took the time to create these different samples with different products and different looks to show us step by step how to achieve these finishes. Very informative and great advice! I can’t pick a favorite cuz I really love them all and I will definitely be trying all of these. Thank you so much! 😊
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Not that I’m “ Fancy” in any way, but the Crystal look is just beautiful!!! I would probably dry brush over it, but that “ Glam” look is very appealing ☺️☺️☺️ thank you for sharing your expertise in the ways to do raised stencils and the proper materials to accomplish the best look!!!
New subbie here and from CT actually.... (We’re basically neighbors!!) So before I get into anything, I need to just tell you that after binge watching your vids for a few days now, I’ve officially dubbed you my “Flipping Queen”.... Aside from the fact that you completely slay these pieces, you truly are an amazing teacher. By far my absolute fave- For starters, you get right to the point, you explain things in a way I’m actually able to understand, you not only provide us with a ton of valuable info. But additional ideas/inspirations and you literally answer every single question I have. (I stopped writing them down because I know they’ll all get answered by the time the videos over). You’re super relatable too; which is a total bonus!!
This video has been a great instructional video. I'm glad that you've showed all 3 methods. I love them all especially the gold. Thanks Kacha for another great video !!
I like the gold glass bead. As usual, Kacha, you have outdone yourself. I watch all of your videos, thus, I've learned so much from you. I can't wait to try the raise stencil designs. Thank you.
My favorite is the glass bead gel with the gold metallic. Since watching you use use this on another video a month or so ago, I have already used this technique on two pieces of furniture. You have no idea how much u and ur videos inspire me
Hi Kacha I think you are so talented I am not a big fan of gold but you are slowly change my mind. With that being said I would love to see more projects where you use silver!! You have totally inspired me and I thank you for that.
Thank you so much Kacha for this explicit tutorial! I really appreciate, how you showed various examples on how to use these products, so helpful!! This technique is labor intensive; and you make it make it look so easy. I can't wait to try this!! Much love❤, from Texas!
My dearest Kacha. I’ve been watching you for a couple months and I must share with you; the absolute impact you have had on me and my life. Since I was very young I’d been talked out of my creative expression. I’ve always had a passion for furniture and to see you work both my dreams together was a moment of clarity and decision. I will forever be grateful to you. Blessings Queen ❤️
If people don’t have a yard. After they use wipes to get most off. They can use a plastic storage tote with 1” to 3” of water to rinse. They can dump that later outside or whatever. With such a small amount of water it will be easier to carry out later.
I really love your art. Such passion and love goes into your art piece. Sometimes I think I can do it. Especially your choices of color - no fear - they’re stunning with personality. Each piece speaks to me. I have 3 pieces I want to soy - desk, dresser for the 1920 or 30s and a jewelry armoire. Fear holds me back. Please keep going so I can dream
Another product you can use is called Patch and Paint lightweight spackle. It's a fluffy compound used to patch holes in walls that doesn't shrink like standard spackle or drywall compound. Because it's not a runny compound it works really well for doing raised stencils. I've used it on a couple pieces with beautiful sharp edged results. Once it's dry it's also very durable. I've also used the Master's glass bead gel and oh my.. the finish is stunning! My favorite but it's also a bit expensive.
Thank you for this tutorial. Is by far the most intriguing part of your art. I keep thinking where do I try it. I guess I have to wait for that special piece
Beautiful job. I really like the dry brush look. Color is not so pronounced. The gold comes in second but that is just me, not a big fan of gold. I believe that a dark blue with the dry brush would really look nice. Thanks for the tips.
