I live how you are not shy to film when you are trying new things! Its good for us newbies to see mistakes and imperfections and how to try and fix them. If everything g is perfect from the get go we don't learn how to fix unexpected things when they happen. I'm sure some little girl would love this in their bedroom. Its so fun!
Christina I so enjoyed this video. Such a powerful message that when we let go of the need for perfection and let our inner painter take over the process we stretch ourselves and have more fun! I often want to stay in my painting box, so I loved that you encouraged us to pick something we can experiment on. Thank you for being vulnerable and leading the way!!
I tried my first glass bead raised stencil after watching Kacha too. She makes everything look easy but I was happy with how mine turned out. Glad this brought you joy Christina x
There are 4 ppl I watch. Kacha, Brushed by Brandy, who is a master blender, seriously she is the best at blending , Cris'Dawna and Cece Restyled. Check out her furniture, outstanding artist. Love her use of mixing different mediums and seeing how it all comes together. You are on your way to great furniture painting! I bet you could totally sell this! Great job!!!
So happy to see you just "take a rush & have some fun with furniture painting"👏💗👏💖👏I don't know any little girl who wouldn't want that somewhere just for them 😉❣️❣️Thanks for sharing you experience and some new & unique item's 😍❣️❣️
I love that you shared this video and all the hiccups you ran into throughout the process, that helps hobbyists like myself as we dable into new terriroty. Also, I think it came out very nice and I'm sure someone would be interested in purchasing your unique piece.
Love these colors. You did a great job blending. I don't do a lot of blending but I think it looks pretty good. This piece does have a boho look that I really like. Great fun piece. Thanks Christina !!
💯💯💯💯💯I find furniture painting very therapeutic, I'm glad there are others out there that feel the same. I pair it up with my famous red clover and hibiscus lemon honey drink, lots of lights, and music n im in heaven.
Glad I’m not the only one who gets furniture painting burnout sometimes! Also not experienced at blending. You did a fantastic job! What a great way to revive yourself after a break.
It is good to watch a pro learning to blend. I’m new and I do great on a board but a muddy blend on pieces. I’m learning a lot watching this. Thank you for doing this video.
Chris, your time with your daughter working together is very valuable for her developmentally in various areas. Additionally, you are modeling for her wonderful character, drive, creativity, marketing, sales, buying and the knowledge her mother had all of that. In psych we say when you're a little girl, your dad 'tells' you what a woman is and your mother 'shows' you what a woman is. 🤔👍
Beautiful. I think your business on Utube is more demanding then a furniture painting shop, so much involved. Christina you are doing a great job with your career. I love how the side table turned out, and your daughter did a great job, if she likes to craft as you say let her start with small pieces. God never gives us what we cannot handle.🤗🎉
i am great fun of neutral colours and creations that you make that are simple yet very chic and high end... although this is beautiful and very bold and i think that you are efficinet and systematic thats why you always succeed...!!!!!!bravo!!!
So funny! I have 2 of these nightstands waiting for inspiration. Also, I was having issues with motivation last week, so went and bought a jar of Plum Crazy from Dixie Bell and had SO MUCH FUN with it--really helped get me out of a rut. All of these neutrals can be a bit tedious, but strong colors bring back the "play" therapy to painting furniture. Quick tip: Dick Blick Art Supply had a clearance on Golden glass bead gel and I got a big jar for 1/3 of what the on-line stores were quoting, so it does pay to actually go into a store and shop! Plus, instant gratification as a bonus! Can't wait to try it this weekend. Great video! So loving your honesty when something goes wrong...gives us hope!
Oh oh!! I bought mermaid knobs at hobby lobby cpl months ago for no reason...I have a end table that needs help and I’ve got the glass bead gel. Time to go get the paint and ya!! Crafting has honestly saved my life lately. Been a super crappy yr 😢 very happy to get inspiration from you 🤗
Thank you for all of the tips about materials!! Pretty good to be your second time blending, it seems that it us not that easy. A big hug from Winnipeg!! Stay save!!
I’m in that same rut! So much happened bad in 2021 for me and then it ended being sick for all the holiday season. Not Covid. Just grandson’s cold. So I have pieces I started last summer - staring at me say, “would you please hurry and finish me?” Now it’s a financial necessity! I love the look of the glass bead raised stencil and mermaids? I live by the water and mermaids and whales are my thing! Great job! I think it’s beautiful! And it gave me an boost to try it out. Thank you.
It’s funny. I’ve been blending for about 6-8 months now, and I’ve gotten pretty good at it. In my head I still question myself half way through, pretty much every time. Watching you, I recognize my panic moments and added sound effects for you. Lol. You did a great job though! It’s gotta look ugly before it looks pretty!
Haha, that chalk blending got me the first time too!! Now I'm playing with rust patina's and am finishing my first steampunk grungy side table....I call it "Rustful Edge".
Christina, I just had an interesting thought! An artist's palette knife might be easier and more effective in applying metallic paint to the stencils. Love the result!
Woo hoo! Nice job and it is a mermaid princess. I need to get me some practice pieces. I don’t know about letting go of control thing though. Hahaha!!! You handled that very well. ☺️
This was a different side of you Christina. The nightstand turned out so pretty and unique. It's wonderful that you and Kacha are friends and share information.
I am totally a blending failure, lol. I scrapped the blended look and just painted it a solid color and called it a day because I got so frustrated with it! I bought an octagon end table the other day that I am repurposing into a cat bed/end table hybrid so I took the doors off. I am going to use those doors are a “flat canvas” to practice blending. I think that will help me get the hang of it! This piece turned out so lovely!
Why no , I didn't read this in your voice 😅😜 Christina is so right! I saw your videos and now im over here blending , applying transfers, dry brushing and glass bead gel is definitely next! Im trying my hand at videos and hope to one day be seen like you both are♡ I feel my style is less desirable so is my personality im just not that happy upbeat person everyone wants to watch 😩
Danielle Patillo I just started painting furniture 2 months ago & am completely obsessed! Everyone has their own personalities & styles. I would love to watch your videos! Keep at it if you love it! I’m too camera shy to do my own videos so I really truly admire people who feel comfortable in front of the camera ❤️
You did a great job!! I do the same thing. I get a cheap end table to try new things. Kacha does gorgeous work. I like the way she blends better for myself. I also like Brushed by Brandy. She does gorgeous blending and she has videos on how to do it. Kacha and Brandy are my favorite blenders LOL
Fabulous! You are so good at explaining each and every step of the process as well as mentioning what you learned along the way. Where can I find one of those mister/spray bottles?
It is soooo cute Christina, perfect isn't important. I would use it for sure. But then again I am that person with a Morrocan table in an unbelievable amount of colours and a huge Dutch blue Chinese cupboard. Life can't be colourful enough.
THESE are my colors!!! That "Peacock" is seriously the blue I've had in my head when envisioning painting that dresser I sent you the picture of! That beautiful bright blue, between those two black shelves! And, yes, you don't often use the "brights", this is why you and Crys'Dawna at @Bella Renovare are probably my two faves. Your styles are a perfect mix of what I love & the style I lean toward!!! @Kacha Is totally amazing at different techniques, makes gorgeous art & also has so much to offer!! I also love that you tried something out of your comfort zone, allowed us viewers to share in that experience, reminded us that we are ALL still & always learning & there's always room for growth
Looks so cute!!! You could be like me and practice blending in super cheap terracotta planters!! I still have a long way to go myself, but I really want to try this glass bead gel now!!
Hello Christina, love the colors. QUESTION FOR YOU , WHAT DO YOU USE AND RECOMMEND stained the cloth. I aTO PREVENT BLEED THROUGH? I am going to be doing an old piece it us very dark. I cleaned it and it stained the rag, I want to paint it a light color so I need to prevent bleed through.
I bet some little girl would love that in her room! Maybe you have a younger niece or something to gift it to? I'm so scared to try blending - you are so brave and it turned out awesome!
Thank you for sharing your struggles! I have tried to blend after watching Katcha and Dion and Brandy and completely ended up with NOT what they end up with 🤣
That was fun, I'm not sure if your content was a commercial in a mandalorian video or there was a mandalorian commercial in your video but it worked out. Happy Halloween🎃
I have a tip for you. About blending, in art school they teach you to blend with brush first, all stripes of color at the same time, so they all have to be wet, then use a wet roller to join the colors together. That's how we do waves, skies, sunsets, especially when we work with acrilics, etc.
I live how you are not shy to film when you are trying new things! Its good for us newbies to see mistakes and imperfections and how to try and fix them. If everything g is perfect from the get go we don't learn how to fix unexpected things when they happen. I'm sure some little girl would love this in their bedroom. Its so fun!
I love that you aren't afraid to admit when you make mistakes. Thanks for keeping it real! I learn so much from you thank you.

What a joy and inspiration to have Kacha as a friend!!
Christina it came out beautiful I’m glad you got motivated again 🥰
Thank you! 🤗
Super cute! I’ll bet your daughter’s in love with it!
I love watching the process. Mistakes and all ❣ Kelli
Thanks, Kelli!
Oh Christina this was so fun watching you do! You took me along for the ride, I could hear your happiness with this piece! And it came out gorgeous!
So happy to see you just "take a rush & have some fun with furniture painting"👏💗👏💖👏I don't know any little girl who wouldn't want that somewhere just for them 😉❣️❣️Thanks for sharing you experience and some new & unique item's 😍❣️❣️
Absolutely stunning transformation! The colours are gorgeous too! As always, I thoroughly enjoy your videos. I learn a lot from you.
I love that you shared this video and all the hiccups you ran into throughout the process, that helps hobbyists like myself as we dable into new terriroty. Also, I think it came out very nice and I'm sure someone would be interested in purchasing your unique piece.
Glad you enjoyed it! Someone did buy it for their beach inspired room.
Love these colors. You did a great job blending. I don't do a lot of blending but I think it looks pretty good. This piece does have a boho look that I really like. Great fun piece. Thanks Christina !!

Thank you for going through all of that, it turned out beautiful!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I really like how it turned out!!!! Is beautiful

I absolutely LOVE this and would purchase it. Just gorgeous!
I know this is an older video, but it was fun to watch. Everything was so not you, which was great to see! ❤️

Very cheerful looking
Hey, Christina, another good job. What will occur with raw wood which is cleaned with Simple Green, as you mentioned? Thx!
Looks so cute!!! You could be like me and practice blending in super cheap terracotta planters!! I still have a long way to go myself, but I really want to try this glass bead gel now!!
Great idea!!
Looks beautiful. I am going to try glass bead gel for the first time. How do you add protection over it? Wax, top coat?
This came out so good!
Gorgeous piece. My granddaughter and I will try this.
Have fun!
Wow I love the colors! Don’t know if I’d do the scales but it’s really cute!
So pumped for this!!!
I love that. Color and raised stencil yes!
Well Done as always Christina!! Way to go out of your comfort zone!! 😁
Thank you!! 😊
This turned out awesome!
That's sooo beautiful, I thought it was perfect
Love this! An you share a link for the red items you use to raise the piece off the floor? Thank you!

I use shellac to prevent bleed through.
Very cool. I can see a little girl out there somewhere who would love this for her night stand!
That is pretty cute. Good job
Nice colors baby!!!
I agree you could totally sell this. Maybe a little girl has a mermaid theme room. This would look great in there!
Love it. I follow Kacha too. 😍😍😍
Very cute-- it looks like if you opened the drawer, some fish would jump out...😁🐟🐠🐡
So pretty!
That’s so stinkin’ cute!!!!
I bet some little girl would love that in her room! Maybe you have a younger niece or something to gift it to? I'm so scared to try blending - you are so brave and it turned out awesome!
Looks brilliant.
You should totally sell it looks awesome 👏🏻
Its super cute!!
Thank you for sharing your struggles! I have tried to blend after watching Katcha and Dion and Brandy and completely ended up with NOT what they end up with 🤣
You’re awesome and so sweet. I have two pairs of those tables! Love this!❤️❤️❤️
Awesome! Thank you!

Looks great!!
It’s beautiful!
I love Kacha!
I need that tool!!!!!
This looks very cool!
Ready for this!! Waiting here
Hope you like it!

Minute 7:14 on. It is a lot easier
This is so cool, well done. I need a daughter lol
Not into blue that turned out wow quite lovely
That table is very resealable
After I place my stencil down I take my tape and on top of my stencil I place tape anywhere that I don’t want paint or in this case raised gel
It’s very nice good job
Outstanding!
