Kacha, I have to express my appreciation for how you approached this beautiful old treasure. You showed great respect and tender care. The music, the lack of voice, the color choices, the filming style were absolutely beautiful. You told a story while you painted. It warmed my heart. Thank you!
As good as watching Leonardo do a ceiling in the Vatican. And with the pup solemn, watching faithfully. . Such good music and photographer a real presence.
Loved the music choice as well!! You are beautiful Kamchatka and you can see you attention and love you have fir your work! Have been watching you for about 6 months. A true artist.... I love your work!
Carlos has taken his level of filming, editing and audio to an entirely new level. Combine that with your incredible talent, that gorgeous piece of furniture and you have a complete win. I enjoyed every second of this video. Kudos to you both!
Beautiful and so relaxing watching you paint with such reverence. This piece was in someone's home at one time. A woman used it as her dresser and you brought out it's inner beauty hidden by the years. You are very special Kacha.
This is the artist watching the artist. What a beautiful look at what your husband sees through his lens. Your passion and his all working in sync with each other. You compliment each others artistry, gorgeousness❤❤❤
I think this is the first video I see were you really look, touch and caress an antique piece of furniture and put your majesty to turn it into the most beautiful thing.
I have to say that this was the most beautiful and heartfelt tribute to a piece of furniture I have ever seen. From the lovingly form in it which was brought in, to the silence as in reverence for it. As well as the compilation of music chosen to speak to its current state of deterioration. When the music shifted somber to happiness I almost cried for its resurrection! You gave this piece its soul and purpose back. Beautiful job in the interpretation of your love for your craft👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This piece is AMAZING !!! The texture really makes this piece and the Woodubend that you put at the top of the mirror adds to the piece. As always, I love the gold and the stencil on the sides also makes a big difference. Wonderful job and another great video !! Thanks !!
This reminds of some of the beautiful Japanese pastry videos that I love so much! I love hearing the sounds of the eggs and flour being mixed and closeups on the batter! You created the same beauty in this. I love that you created a tactile and auditory experience with the paints. I loved hearing the swirling technique with the natural brushes and the texture it created with the Sea spray. But I loved the filming technique today equally as much as the lovely feminity of this French looking piece. A perfect video Kacha and Carlos. Lots of love went into this one.
OMG! I had to stop watching to comment on Carlos’s filming skills! This video editing and the sound editing are AMAZING. Ok, you’re just about to start painting. I’m going back to watch.
Hello beautiful Kacha and duke and Carlos.....hope all is well....I'm still watching ur video while drinking my coffee and this video the way it started with the newspaper and prep is like a movie and really really cool....BUT I Miss hearing ur voice Kacha and ur laughter etc...😢...okay I'm going to finish watching ur video to see what a beautiful job you create this time🖌️🖌️👍❤️❤️❤️🤗
Crying and my heart aches, I feel as though I have watched a ballet. This once loved piece of furniture, now neglected, giving glimpses into its hayday past just broke me. Then with every brush stroke and tender touch it slowly starts unfolding itself and once again reveals its beauty. Wow. Pure artistry. Bravo.
So, just watched a stunning film that I think is being screened at Sundance. What was it about? This beautiful woman paints one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture. What? Yeah, I know it sounds weird but I guess you'll have to watch it to understand. The haunting piano music, the lighting, camera work-perfection! You've done it again-great video. Thank you!)
Brown paint keeps furniture in’the dark’! Upgrading to new look makes it Old World appealing! 21 Century. Hopes it last some 25 years or 50. A heirloom indeed.
Thank you for saving this beautiful piece of furniture. The original finish/wood was gorgeous but it had obviously been so neglected that without your TLC who knows where it would have ended its days? You’ve given it new life!💕
This was not only beautifully filmed, but it was an amazing transformation of a tired, unwanted furniture piece. I love how you seem to understand what the piece needs.
I am not sure why I cried, during this painting session, but I did. It is as tho I can feel the presence of those people that originally lived with and loved this piece. May God bless you and your continued art work. And hugs and kisses for your sweet helpers.
This was not video it was film. Very classy artistry. And emotional. The music captured your love for this exquisite work as your started blending. The whole thing was beautifully choreographed. You two have set the bar high.
After watching your podcast I rewatched this video. It was so enjoyable and relaxing to watch you do your art! I don't understand why if someone hates painted furniture why are they watching your videos? You did this piece justice! This goes back to the original roots of Annie Sloan painting with the texture!
Love the ASMR! I'm a furniture restore/repurpose/refinish junky. I've been watching you for a while, this is my favorite video. When I'm not doing my own projects I'm getting ideas from you :) The ASMR makes it an experience. Thank you. (Little gold never hurt anyone😉)
I loved this format. While I also love your regular videos with your fun, laughter and peppy music, this was a beautiful display of the process of creation that felt more real. The background noises with the piece moving as your work on it, water running, the sound of brush strokes, etc all just made it seem like it was happening right now. Add in the music and it just took me to my happy place when I can sit in my work area with music on in the background and just work on a piece. You went from happy and calm during prep to the exciting discovery phase when that first coat of paint goes on and you can begin to see old turn into new then straight into that creative peace that comes from bringing it all together with the dry brushing and waxes. I sat at my desk doing my day job work and all of these things together took me from my daily grind to my happy place with a paint brush in hand without ever moving and I can not thank you enough for this!!!
Kasha I’ve watched lots of utube chalk paint crafters but, I believe your the most creative one I’ve watched. You have a unique talent and I look forward to seeing what you create next. Love, love your work and you’re so sweet too.
Like a moth to a flame, I am drawn to your videos. This came out so beautiful. I love the softness of the paint color against the coolness of the metallic embellishments and drawer pulls . It’s a lovely contrast.
I felt like you were telling a story with every brush stroke. The music complemented the beautiful furniture getting a makeover the final outcome is Maravilloso!! Thank you 💐
I absolutely loved this design and the video formating, so relaxing and I felt like I was transported into another world watching a story play out. More please
This little pooch is your personal assistant. What a cutie. And ofcourse, you are talented and your husband is supportive. Love the music accompanying this project.
For Once I'm Am in Awww and NOT many words.....this Video Was OUTSTANDING... BRAVO To Carlos ...oh my Word The Skils you Have with filming and the Sound effects....And Beautiful.Kacha... The art you create is Just AMAZING...this Piece Spoke Volumes ...You Kept True to the Story and time of this Piece and I am MORE than Impressed....Such a Gorgeous Gorgeous vanity and TALK about a Statement piece....Wow amazing.....the color and everything is just Spot on......I do Miss ur laughter and happiness too....Stay Blessed....🤗
You brought this antique back to life, what a gorgeous piece then and now, again. I love the dusty rose. I painted an antique chair this very similar rose color, anyway, I think it looks better on a hutch or bigger piece. Love the music, too. You two make a great team!!! so awesome.
Wow! Just Wow! Loved this video. Hearing the brushes work, your hands brushing over the the piece for final inspection, watching you process and execute your thoughts. Just beautiful. Nice job to you both. and the music.....🥰
I have to comment again. Because I watched this a second time. That probably sounds crazy. But I was struck the second time about something else you did here. Showing the newspaper created a sense of the life this piece had, the history behind it. Seeing the the finished piece with the plumes carries the history with it but with new energy. It actually made me feel sad that this beautiful vanity became neglected. You have such a gift to bring that life back into things.
Splendid work & beautiful cinematography. The color was not my favorite and I so DESPERATELY wish the original veneers could have been kept. At least in part. But good eye on finding such a gorgeous vanity. I have one similar to it at home. ☺
I remember when you had about 20k subscribers, what attracted me was the peace I found in your silent instructions. You were my first teacher and I refurbished my first piece in early 2019 following your videos. You know what? I have a hard time selling some of my refurbished pieces. Specially the one I did after your Jan 11 2019 video. Still my favorite of all time. I loved that music and the transformation was fascinating. All the furniture I refurbished and ended up selling paid for my Certification as a Gaps Coach which now is my new career. Look how the world goes around. Pandemic hit and I had to reinvent myself. I love it!! Congratulations on 166k subscribers! You work very hard!
Beautiful as always, you put a great deal of love into your work! It is refreshing to see your joy! You are an inspiration, always love watching you bring new life into a piece of funiture!
This piece is exquisite! ...so easy to watch this video. Props to Carlos on the music and production as well! Kacha, you never cease to amaze me! Bravo! 👏
This sounds totally silly, but you made me cry a little. I could sense what you were feeling while going over the furniture with your hand, the encompassed overwhelm of its past life waving through with visuals of color blurred in fabrics briskly walking by, sounds of laughter getting ready in her mirror as she breaths in the perfume misting down upon her top. She was old, but still young at heart and you swooped in to save her. Your gift is not only in your technique, but ability to seek beyond the body of your muse. The flair of executing it's presentation is unlike anything I've seen regarding this level of focus. Indy short films from the mid 2000's inspired; the ones that just by turning the water on in the tub to fill the bucket, no verbal influence, hearing the squeaky sound of the turning and the bass coming from it hitting the bottom of an empty bucket gives a contemplative calm. You are absolutely beautiful! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 No hesitation giving you 5 Stars.

Great to see someone brave enough to do a video like this in the furniture flip RUclips world... and who not you are an artist in many ways. Loved it!!!!
This video made me feel like I watching a dramatic and suspenseful movie. The transformation is beautiful and I really appreciated the care and direction you took with the furniture piece. ❤

Love this Kacha you have given it a new life.. Just beautiful.. Sometimes it’s good not to talk just paint.. No distractions Love the video Carlos..Love watching you just create. BRAVO!! 💜🤍❤️💛
Such lovely music as a meditative accompaniment. Your videos are good for mind, heart and soul. Thank you for sharing so beautifully. It’s so much more than just info about materials/tools/techniques. Much more. Your Kacha energy is very appreciated by so many for good reason. Bless you.
I enjoy hearing you talk about your process, but wow. I really loved just hearing the sound of the tools at work against that majestic music. And your piece came out beautifully.
Dear Kacha Thankyou for your inspiration and talent. Your ideas have been translated to my antique carved lounge chair with a little bit of black wax and gold - of course! It has a new lease of life and I am enjoying the transformation experience. No wonder you look like you love doing what you do.
Kacha, everything about this video was perfection. Your choice of color, your technique, the music and of course your little helper. I love everything about it.
Love your dresser! Love, the peaceful quiet music too! thanks. Am impressed re your subscribership status! I really appreciated your podcast a few weeks ago when you spoke of the changes your channel went through via podcasts, etc. I watched way before then (the silent videos).....Everything has changed and I have rolled with it! Thanks. for you knowledge, talent and presence as a furniture artist! Have learned a lot!
Love the artsy videography, love the artsy moody music, LOVE the end result of the piece itself! It pleases me that I can come to your channel and see fifteen to twenty minutes of pure artistic creation! Instructional videos are good too. You're a great teacher. But its so nice to have a variety to choose from! Home run Kacha!
I felt that I could see but not hear you, like something was lost, but then you’ve been found through the visualization of your art. Between seeing the art and hearing the music and the brush, I felt so overtaken with emotion. The music is amazingly fitting, I absolutely loved it and would love to hear more! Then at the end with you examining the piece, touching the piece, just taking it all in - I was literally crying at how beautiful everything is, it’s just drawing you in, transpiring you. Thank you for sharing your art with the world and just being you. It’s a beautiful thing to see in a world with so much ugliness. ❤️
Girl you got it goin' on as far as your creative juices and talent. New big fan here and let me tell you I love wood finishes and antiques a lot and you have convinced me to come to the other side of painting wood. Sometimes with veneers your only hope is to redo with paint I see now! I have put veneers on to fix antiques but you gave totally opened my eyes to seeing the redos with paint as a Good great thing and not destroying a piece. That in itself is HUGE! I LOVE LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! I SEE THE NEXT MARTHA STEWART OF FURNITURE REDOS IN THE MAKE HERE. NEXT STOP GOOD MORNING AMERICA FOR YOU, RACHAEL RAY ETC. YOU GOGOGO GIRL! I AM TELLING EVETONE I KNOW ABOUT YOU!
Kacha, I have to express my appreciation for how you approached this beautiful old treasure. You showed great respect and tender care. The music, the lack of voice, the color choices, the filming style were absolutely beautiful. You told a story while you painted. It warmed my heart.

Couldn't have put it better myself. No words needed.
Simply beautiful video. Well done!
Presentation. It was nice.
I can not say it better than Kellie ❤️
As good as watching Leonardo do a ceiling in the Vatican. And with the pup solemn, watching faithfully. . Such good music and photographer a real presence.
WOW!! This was the most artsy vid i have seen on furniture, i say bravo to you Kacha, you nailed it and calmed my soul as well today.
Loved the music choice as well!! You are beautiful Kamchatka and you can see you attention and love you have fir your work! Have been watching you for about 6 months. A true artist.... I love your work!
I think tha same.
The most beautiful ever seen

Awesome hidden treasures on the newspaper I'd be putting that to use in a junk journal/ art journal. 😆
I think this is the first video I see were you really look, touch and caress an antique piece of furniture and put your majesty to turn it into the most beautiful thing.
You can tell she loves her work.

Ahhh, you loved her back to life. Lovely.
With all those newspapers, I'd make a decoupage and use them on a Furniture ❤️❤️❤️ beautiful work Kacha. Impressive, as always ❤️

Same here!
This piece looks like it was in the dressing room of a big star from the 50's. Just beautiful. Thank you for a look into another time.

I am in awe of your imagination and your skill in achieving your ideas
Thanks for sharing Duke! Gorgeous as always!
Beautiful and the music and tone of the video was wonderful. I felt a definite peace of mind!
Beautiful. We sometimes find healing in our artistic expressions. You are such a Beautiful woman. Many Blessings to you and your family 🥰
Thank you for showing how you clean and condition the old drawers. LOVE the closeup filming. Duke is adorable. Great music.
Splendid work & beautiful cinematography. The color was not my favorite and I so DESPERATELY wish the original veneers could have been kept. At least in part. But good eye on finding such a gorgeous vanity. I have one similar to it at home. ☺
This piece reflects u so much.It was gracefull. Those drawer pulls unlike nothing I ever seen.Great work.
Not only are your pieces beautiful works of art but the video it’s self is a work of art! Outstanding all the way around!
I appreciate what you do. Also, my heart breaks for the gorgeous natural finish that has gone out of vogue.
I remember when you had about 20k subscribers, what attracted me was the peace I found in your silent instructions. You were my first teacher and I refurbished my first piece in early 2019 following your videos. You know what? I have a hard time selling some of my refurbished pieces. Beautiful as always, you put a great deal of love into your work! It is refreshing to see your joy! You are an inspiration, always love watching you bring new life into a piece of funiture!
Wow that newspaper is a great find. I was only 4 yrs old in 1964.
In April of 1964 I was t minus 6 months 🤩 it was a great year 😙
This piece is exquisite! ...so easy to watch this video. Props to Carlos on the music and production as well! Kacha, you never cease to amaze me! Bravo! 👏
That’s awesome. The vase is a perfect addition. Absolutely perfect.
BEAUTIFUL PIECE and BEAUTIFUL VIDEOGRAPHY! Nice work from a truly beautiful couple...xxoo
This sounds totally silly, but you made me cry a little. No hesitation giving you 5 Stars.
Fantastic filming!!! Great job!!

I like the new format, but we will miss your comments: you have such a bubbly and charming personality 😊☺️

Good job Carlos and Kacha!!! You guys, this was super relaxing! Kacha, great works as always!
I enjoy hearing you talk about your process, but wow. I really loved just hearing the sound of the tools at work against that majestic music. And your piece came out beautifully.
Wow this was so awesome and unique!!!
Dear Kacha Thankyou for your inspiration and talent. Your ideas have been translated to my antique carved lounge chair with a little bit of black wax and gold - of course! It has a new lease of life and I am enjoying the transformation experience. No wonder you look like you love doing what you do.
Wow! This movie made me cry! 🥺 Something about it was just so beautiful and spiritual ❤️...and the piece is amazing!
Simply gorgeous. I wish I could feel the texture.
I loved your music choice. Soothing, moving and soulful...
The colors are beautiful!
Kacha, everything about this video was perfection. Your choice of color, your technique, the music and of course your little helper. I love everything about it.
WOW... very beautiful makeover and a truly classy presentation ... you are a true artiste. Thank you.
Beautiful! It should be in a palace. What a show piece. You are so talented.
Stunning transformation on the furniture, but loved the production the most! Wow! Thank you Kacha!
