Raptor 700 Clutch Side Assembly!!! P8 PLUS FULL FIBER CLUTCH MOD!!! OMG 😱
I just realized I skipped part 7, so the next video will be part 7 😂
Here's a boring video about how to get your clutch side all together on a Raptor 700. I also go over the "Full Fiber" clutch mod and show how to do it and why it's an upgrade over stock.

“A little bit boring” never been so entertained before. Great job ♥️
Thanks so much man!
as long as its wet clutch your fine i just wouldnt keep changing the oil up stick with one brand and type unless you absolutely need oil and dont have a choice same goes for vehicles they dont like tons of different oils in them they like one type and brand because they all have different conditioners and stuff in them and its not good to swap around a bunch at all :)
love that oil for clutch brake in and i do it the same way for the pre wet even on 2stroke then after oil change i swap to rotella 15/40 diesel oil and they shift like butter
You are definitely the older and wiser version of me..😂🤘🏻
I've used that oil before when I was in a pinch and I couldn't tell a difference from any other motorcycle/atv oil.. Ppl are always going to complain though..
That tusk clutch kit is good stuff..
Great vid mike love the way you explain shit being i have a raptor 700 myself. Nice to see what is inside my quad.

I appreciate the video.
Good vid if you sell the rappy or banshee lmk I want either or
Hey Michael I am talking with a garage to install a coolhead and they recommend me to put 22 cc domes instead of 21 considering I have a stock piston they say. But I want 21 Cc and feel that its better. I only have t9 full exhaust and k&n filter running at 500 ft elevation and about 100 degrees summer time with 280 mains. Also I am gonna install a timing plate, same guy tells me go for +5 but i say i should go +4 he says a 4 wont do anything but i feel 5 is an overkill. What do you recommend? Thanks for taking the time 😅
Do you still have good clutch control? Also, how do you like the Tusk competition clutch? I have a clutch change in my future. Thx
I'm curious, how did u get extra clutch fiber plate for the half on very bottom? Did u reuse one of the older ones? Doing mine very soon, waiting on shipping. Wish we were friends, I'd polish those cases for u, I use wire wheels in drill. Take care
Armando Duarte hey man, I'd hand them right over to you to polish! You can order individual fibers from most companies and definitely OEM ones.
Can u put a 700 clutch on a 660 raptor clutch
yes! Jaso oil!
100% 🤘
Nice . Y didn’t you use assembly lubricant?
noel orourke thanks dude; I did use assembly lube, I just didnt film it. I probably should have mentioned that. I forget to mention things here and there when I'm making my videos and editing them.
Part 2 tomorrow????😍😍
wow, never heard of that. do you know if the 660 is like that? I have an 02 that i totaled 8 years ago, bent everything, ripped the ball joints thru the a arms, wrapped the rims around the lug nuts etc.... fixed it, rode about 2 years then i stripped the front sprocket nut about a year ago trying to fix a leaky seal (with a impact wrench), well i hope it's the nut. it's free spinning on the output shaft. I really need to fix that.. i guess I'm going to go at it with a dremel and a cut off wheel. what would you do?
guy i bought it from said it has a gytr clutch basket in it, but you know how that go's, lol. he said he has $800 in the clutch.. he did have 2 other 660's with i bet over $5k in suspension. so maybe :)
If anyone can help, So I'm installing a new clutch. I got it all back together but I'm able to move the clutch lever with my pinky all the way in? It's so loose feeling. Also the I remember when I took the clutch apart the part the cable connects to on the clutch cover was pretty stiff. I'm a noob.
The shift shaft is out of alignment just take some snap ring pliers and take that snap ring off the shaft that’s on the clutch cover where the cable connects to and pull it up a little bit just until it’s comes pass the grooves and it’s should be a mark on there align it with the mark on the case and push it back down then push the washer back down as well then put the snap ring back on and you’re good to go just adjust the clutch cable free play by the handle bar counter clock wise makes it tighter , clock wise makes it weaker remember with a clutch you need pressure so counter clock wise is never bad just means more let out on the clutch lever to get it moving 🙌🏿
where is the shee?😭
Second
Dude those fibers need to soak for atleast a few hours...
I've read/heard conflicting methods on clutch installs. I usually do soak my plate; I dont remember what I did in this video to be honest. The clutch has a lot of time and abuse on it though and its still in great shape.
I'm not positive but it looked like you put oil filter backwards, I would hate to see you get the whole engine together and roast the motor because it can't inject oil through the filter
