    Thanks so much for making this video. I'm going to try myself. I've never done this before but would love the sense of achievement from pulling it off.

    Swearing and name-calling at inanimate items is ALWAYS good fun to watch, makes me feel less like a freak when others also do it xD

    And then the sign was different and didn't work

    What did you set the ring gaps at? Mine did not butt up, but rhey were very tight and required filing to set the proper gap.

    Did you tell everybody to turn the piston the correct way so the exhaust valves line up with the exhaust cut outs on the piston head and the intakes do the same

    Did you even hone that cylinder?

  • @anonymous-tn6ij
    @anonymous-tn6ij 5 лет назад +1

    The piston would’ve had oil on it and you just wipe that rag across the head of the piston to where the gasket goes on the head so you actually just put oil on the surface where that gasket goes and said make sure you don’t get any oil on it

  • @guerrad10dg

    Went Well. Should have cleaned up the outside of that case before it was rebuilt. Shiny new parts inside but the outside looks like crap.

    • @MichaelSabo

      Yes that would have made a killer look. I went with vapor blasting on the build after this and it looks like brand new cases 🤘

  • @anonymous-tn6ij
    @anonymous-tn6ij 5 лет назад +2

    Put a zip tie on the timing chain and you can use that as a leader to pull it through the jug wear rubber gloves so I don’t get dirty fingerprints and shit all over the inside of the engine and so you can smooth oil around
