Hey Paul just wanted to tell ya you do awesome work I strive to have lawns like you also. We had really hot and dry weather this week and we're starting to notice some fungus also.take care hope the knee is better thanks
Actually DMI based fungicides could increase disease pressure of Helminthosporium Leaf Spot! I typically run Azoxy and Prop also and take my chances with a DMI increasing the pressure of Helminthosporium leaf spot. Sure would be nice if they would give a few more modes of action legal for residential use.
Great video as always, what’s the plan moving forward after the fungicide for leaf spot I’ve heard no more fertilizer and it’s going look like crap until fall is this the case if it’s made it to the melting out phase
Paul, did azoxy + prop alone used to fix mongolian death spot? This is the first time ive heard of the three way fungicide mix being necessary, but i havent had to deal with a lot of fungal diseases on my lawns yet. Disease is still my weakest area of knowledge.
Gray leaf spot like I showed at the end of the video is very difficult . If you aren’t getting it in your area don’t worry about it. First year fescue yards are very susceptible so consider a preventative program adding TM … the 3336 fungicide to your azoxy July and August
@@PaulsPrimeCuts what carrier volume do you recommend for fungicides? I’m currently calibrated to .58 gallons per 1000. Would you increase carrier volume when actively spraying fungus that you have?
@@rickjames1246 increased volume for fungicides is generally recommended… I spray most of mine at 32 oz per k out of the permagreen with out issue in most cases
Ok thanks , I live in Connecticut. This is the strangest thing every year, a black haze over certain spots of my lawn, then turns to a white powdery mildew. Then the whole spot dies out, but grows back very quickly almost looks dormant for a little while, but only in a few spots.
I ditto this Paul. Seeing it up north in Franklin county as well. Thanks for the content sir!
mongolean death blight - LOL your sense of humor is awesome!!

Mongolian death blight 😂😂😂 love you more!❤❤
It’s the worst
Paul we've been training all fescue season long for June, July, and August.. Bring it on!
Well put💥
Oh, btw Paul this was a really good video. Examples in real life are so much better than books.
Assuming my diagnoses are correct Cassandra 🤣
Mongolian death blight 👹got me last year. Totally agree with the name change
I will talk to Jim Kerns at NC state and see if he can do anything to rename it 😂
Great work my brother.👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Our hands are really tied in residential… combining the QOI with the DMI is about the best we have available for now
@@PaulsPrimeCuts yes sir unfortunately!
I'll be doing a combination of prop and azoxy app in my yard soon I'll definitely be going with the lower rates to avoid any turff damage.
When you combine the the 2 the low label rate of each is fine
@@PaulsPrimeCuts thanks I'll probably order the 3336 and rotate them when conditions are favorable.
Thanks for the content!
Hot and dry here in kentucky! Send some rain!
Same here in lower Michigan, driest May in 146 years.
7:45 - leaf spot. Oh yeah, this started late Feb for me. Sprayed it with the Azox / Prop combo. Going to be a long disease season.
It's alive! Lol, what's the daily stogie this week, boss?
We need more content!!! 😂
Drought stress on the tttf here in Southern Ky. Early for us. 😖
It’s been wet and cool here

If it’s melted out it’s pretty much gone. If you catch it early it should be ok low rates of N can help it recover
Fungus among Fes..... PPZ + AZOXY ought to take care of it.

Great video
It was fair😂
I have seen rust and leaf spot in the Greensboro area. Have you seen any Pythium Blight?
Do you work in Grandy, NC? If not, can you recommend someone? I haven't found anyone that knows anything about cold weather grasses. Thank you.
I don’t go there. There is a guy in Manteo Matt Garza Popo and sons lawn care that sprays
What products would you recommend from the big box stores?
What is your experience with ground pearl? Probably 1.5 acres of centipede lawn completely infested
We don’t have them here … I have heard of cases of them in the southeast corner of the the state … I don’t know of anything effective on it
Mongolian death blight 😅😅😅
How are you handling the Trivials? I’m seeing it more and more in my area.
Year after year Applications of Anuew pgr could help …. Everyone has some kinda cocktail for it …. Few actually do anything to it
Have you found anything that works on dallisgrass?
Just a question. The TTF you are showing in the video is that Triple Threat Plus?
Yes it is
Thanks.
Getting hit hard by leaf spot. Will azoxy and prop take care of it, or will tm 4.5 need to be added to the mix?
As long as it’s not gray leaf spot just the Azoxystrobin and propaconazoil will handle it

Hello Mr. Paul....does that music have a name?
Beethoven 69th Symphony
f major ?
Does gray leaf spot start out as like a black haze over the infected spot ?
I guess several could start off looking like that but I more think of brown patch having that appearance
