- There are now more unemployed people living in Toronto than in the entirely of Quebec. Over 317,000 people living in the Greater Toronto Area are now unemployed. At the same time, Ontario is taking in millions of new immigrants. There simply aren’t enough jobs for the number of people who now live in Southern Ontario, but does anybody in the political class actually care?
The effects of Justin Trudeau’s mass immigration agenda aren’t only affecting our economic numbers. Homelessness, food insecurity and crime are also on the rise.
True North’s Harrison Faulkner says Canadians are being sold out by politicians who are putting the needs of Canadians last in a pursuit to arbitrarily raise the country’s GDP.

Well Ontario and the Maritimes were perfectly willing to let Trudeau destroy the way of life of Albertans and many others when they voted for him. They knew what he stood for. Now that their way of life (inflation, housing prices, good jobs, uncontrolled immigration) is slipping from them, they’re concerned and blame the very man they voted in.

My grandson works at one of these places as he saves to go to college or university. He had his hours cut to almost nothing and the positions are filled with people who barely speak english!

I'm doing exactly that. The gas stations I can't avoid. They seem to be exclusively owned and run by Indians, which I think is a problem in general. It shouldn't be possible for Indians or any immigrant population to completely monopolize an industry.

As a licensed carpenter in Ontario. Trades as a whole have been invaded. Mass unemployment and the ministry of trades is useless as they’ve been invaded as well, unions are being crippled by the ‘diversity and inclusion’ programs filling our lists up with sandbaggers. If you’re not Canadian you should be the last on the list in all aspects.

They demand 2-5 years of experience to work as an apprentice or helper, and the only exception is that they hire migrants for slave wages.
My husband's an electrician and we haven't seen this at his hall yet! But there's still no jobs through the hall.

I got a interview for this medical job. Some Indian girl calls me and literally doesn’t even interview me and just asks me elimination questions. She wouldn’t even believe me when I said I’m committing to the job. Not gonna lie this gave me depression. The career counsellor told me flat out PR's get priority for job services.. They even have companies like the big banks recruit exclusively for newcomers.. If you are unemployed citizen youre going to have a very hard time without connections to back you, because many jobs are going exclusively to immigrants through many stealthy ways.. I think Canadians should be put first over immigrants. How are international students even allowed to work? When I first immigrated from Europe to Canada, I saw a significant thing against the US government, I was VERY shocked. The US are our brothers and sisters. I am watching this from India. I am a software developer at a large tech company making around 160k a year, with 9 years of work experience. I have a Bachelors from a top 20 university in India and not a Masters or a PhD. Any major city in India is atleast 4 times cheaper than Canada. so you can live really well in India if you work hard. The people who move to places like canada or europe are good for nothing, they left as they wouldnt survive the competition in India.so Canada you are accepting our losers. Now moving to US is a different story where a developer can make north of 400k usd

I think what consequently & naturally happens is that the third-world immigrants, who are citizens that purchases franchises, know of Trudeau's allowance for TFWs in the fast-food industry and so they actively seek to import their own nation to work for them. I swear, all Subways around me have all gone Indian over the past several years, so fast it's scary; our own Canadian kids squeezed out of good part-time work. The insane lockdowns prevented our kids from working furthermore and now there's practically an entire generation of children who have no working experience before they're 18.

my wages have gone down by about 30% in the last 10 years, and if I ask for more, employers laugh and tell me they will find someone else to work for 19$ per hour. I do have a degree, experience, and common sense! which is more than most people I've worked for lately.. I also speak English
Don't you love that in 1998 I was making $27.50 an hour now I am making $19 an hour and working much harder doing manual factory work to get it and boy I better like it or they will get rid of me in a second then hire someone for even less. Speaking english and being born in Canada seems to be a huge negative now a days because it means you might be familiar with labor laws and stuff like that.
