So people every year voluntarily give their money to people who are essential a private business like KFC or McDonald's. One other thing that I don't know if she mentioned was that this government has ballooned out the federal public service by something like 50%. Extremely irresponsible expansion of the size of the public service. These are people that live in Ottawa and earn substantially more than the average Canadian who also receive very luxurious retirement benefits.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of new taxes they will introduce this Fall. They are already talking about a house tax, a Digital Sales Tax, and a rain tax. Freeland stated 2 weeks ago that she is trying to figure out ways to tap Canadians' savings as a new lucrative revenue stream.
