      No, it’s literally about controlling the females. Basically they just want them to be basically servants and baby makers. Honestly, they will literally try to marry their daughters off at 14 years old to their cousin. All these females are only taught to do is cook, clean and be a servant to their husband and pop out a couple babies. I’m not saying every single traveler or gypsy but the majority of them are like that and it’s messed up because the males even if they’re 15 years old can go do stuff with females but the female travelers are gypsies have to stay pure the males could literally sleep with like 50 females and like I said they could be 15 or 16 years old and they don’t care they don’t get shamed or anything but the females have to stay pure. There was this girl on the show where literally her parents took her out of school and literally all they taught her was to cook, clean and be a servant to her father so then she can learn to be a servant to her husband. I’m not saying it’s not OK to learn those basic life skills. Of course it is but I mean that is their whole life and they know they can’t leave their husbands if they want out because they literally have an eighth grade education the females and it’s sad it’s manipulation I getwhen somebody’s culture when it’s literally degrading women and manipulating them and turning them into servants, and not like wives no it’s not OK but that girl I was talking about. She left the community and actually became an MMA fighter and her family disowned her some traveler or gypsy parents are pretty lenient, but it’s rare to get those parents in the gypsy and travel world. but she literally said the one that left and her family disowned her because she didn’t want to get married to her cousin and she was 14. She literally said it’s abuse. She literally said she didn’t even know what fun was but they sway them with these beautiful wedding dresses, and the wedding and everything like that

      This is a huge part of why they’re stigmatized and discriminated against. Objectively speaking, they have a terrible culture that doesn’t value women as anything but a homemaker. As a feminist I’m downright disgusted. Those children are entitled to an education yet they are ripped away from the only thing that may be able to free them from this fate, that being a proper education (and it’s illegal to not send them to school). As a result, these poor girls never learn their worth, they are never treated as actual citizens, just second class scum. And they wonder why they’re discriminated against-they have zero education and cannot contribute to society because they have zero skills and are brainwashed into believing they have no purpose in life beyond popping babies out and being slaves to men. It’s beyond tragic. My heart breaks for every single one of those little girls and all of the women on this program.

    Why do the girls who are not in the wedding, dressed like they are going to a rave or something. Some of the outfit are quite reveling.And, IMHO, kind of trashy.

      Culture, they have different ways of doing things. What we see as trashy is not to them. Imagine living in large families in small trailers all the time. Not much privacy there, so most have seen more as part of daily life so what does it matter if clothing shows more when you see that anyway.

    It did turn out wonderfully well, the nicest wedding yet on this show. The venue guy did an exceptional job as did the cake ladies and the dressmakers. And all in such a short notice! Just crazy! I wouldn't call it a royal style wedding, more of a Disney princess style, but it was lovely. The bridesmaids had beautiful dresses too, unlike in some other weddings, dressed in flashy yellow and green etc
    We were saving up for 2 years for our wedding, I had a custom-made wedding dress - a copy of Grace Kelly wedding dress, my husband-to-be had a white suit with a hat, we had a horse-drawn carriage (a royal style, not Disney princess style), a live band, professional photographer and cameraman, but the cake was of normal proportions, without excess and we didn't have bridesmaids as that is not a tradition from any of our countries (we are not from the same country). We did have an organizer, which helped a lot, but it was still stressful, I can't imagine doing it all in 3 weeks!
    Our wedding wasn't cheap, but gypsy/traveller's weddings must cost a fortune. I wish all the girls had money to organize a splendid wedding. To feel like a princess for one day sure is great!

    After watching this show I have some thouhts to share: 1-this girls did not finish school and they want to be married. Its not safe to Get married Uneducatec. 2-the wedding dress and the other dresses must be expensive. So what do you do with them after the wedding? 3- I hope girls Get a chanse in the future to see their parents. 4-we all choose a certain life style, and each life stale has Got it pros and cons. 5-i found the show Really interesting because it has showed me Completely different life style and values due to mine. I wish that girl a lot of happiness in mariage. Being married is not a easy thing to rock❤️

      ThouGhts, uneducateD, chanCe, stYle, showN. Are you married? Is it safe for you? Yes she sees her parents after marriage. They have very tight knit family units. She knows marriage is hard, she's been raised to know exactly what married life will be like. One of the reasons Traveler girls leave school so early is to learn every aspect of family life. She's not going into it not knowing how to cook or clean or raise children.

    I've watched shows like this for many years, I find it interesting how they plan weddings so quickly.
    Usually they have certain go to people for the dress, cake and yes - where it will be ( reception ), the reception is the hardest because of the mess, damage and the arguments over payments.
    It's interesting mostly how the bride's are ready to be in pain and can barely walk when it comes to their dresses. I've often wondered if any of them out there has decided to go for some comfort and desire to just " glide in beauty " down the asile.
    Still like watching the fantasy of the bride come to life!

    • @Gemini-horrorchannel
      @Gemini-horrorchannel 3 месяца назад

      Because in their culture, the women are pulled out of school at a very, very young age or they don’t go to school at all. Basically, when they’re a traveler or a gypsy, they’re just taught as a female to cook, clean, and basically be a servant to their husband so their parents either like I said, don’t send them to school at all or they pull them out at a very young age so a lot of them have a second grade education or seventh or eighth grade education and like this girl in the video was pulled out at 11 years old I don’t know 100%. If this is what went down in her life but majority of what happens is that all their skills are is a cook, clean and be a servant to their fathers, and then once their father finds a male suitor, then they can be basically a servant to their husband and some of these girls are 14 and their parents are marrying them off to a 25-year-old or older and sometimes it’s a cousin. But it’s sad because a lot of these women can’t go out into the real world because again they only have a second grade or seventh or eighth grade education, which makes it harder for them to stand on their own 2 feet and it’s really sad because the gypsies are the traveler males. Even if they’re 15 years old can go do whatever they want with other females, but a traveler or gypsy female can’t even kiss someone because they’ll be branded as unworthy of marriage basically tainted. But a lot of the times they throw these big extravagant weddings, extravagant wedding gowns and everything like that to lure these females into marriage. I’m not saying all but majority. There was a 15 year-old girl that was on an episode and all she knew how to do was cook clean and be a servant basically which of course it is good to have those skills but not make it your whole entire life. I mean a lot of these girls can’t even really go out in public or anything until their parents find them a male suitor. But that’s what she said is that she was basically confined into her parents camper trailer and all she would do was clean be a servant to her father and then they found her a male suitor and she’s 15 years old and they’re going to marry her off to a 25-year-old, and it’s her cousin. Well, she didn’t want that she broke away from the community. They shunned her thank gosh she broke statistics, and actually became an MMA fighter, a professional one, and she actually came out with a documentary outing traveler and gypsy community and how they manipulate the girls and the women.

    Businesses don't turn down money especially with last minute bookings if they don't have a party booked in already. They cancel due to past experience. Basically damage that costs them a great deal of time and money to fix and which affects other bookings after that event. That's why they cancelled.

      Plenty when there's that many people living in them and you have to do all the washing by hand. They are extremely clean people despite what most ppl are told. Every cupboard gets emptied and wiped out, all the chrome needs to shine. Every window and mirror needs to be streak free. No dusty corners (they're often cleaned with toothbrushes to be perfect) It is very likely that your version of clean is filthy compared to theirs.
