Like when Mike watches the VHS and there is a guy fixing a animatronic which looks like his dad, plus Henry in the games and books is known for fixing the animatronics. Garrett's death is simliar to the games of when Willam pulled up in a car and killed Charlie (Henry's daughter) and she becomes the puppet. The end credits gives several hints that Garret will be this universe's version of the puppet.
