      @@AndrewSenior Pleasure, brings back great memories of our trips. Just noticed now as something looked familiar, we passed one another in 2017 close to Gweta where the road was flooded for 2-3 km’s. Small world

    • @AndrewSenior
      @AndrewSenior  2 года назад +1

      @@deonvangreuning555 that’s right! You would’ve passed some of our group on that flooded stretch. I travelled on the southern road from Serowe that trip so luckily missed it!

      Hi Andrew busy planning a trip to Khwai and Chobe in 2023 would appreciate information on how to book camps as well as any tips on travel to Botswana. Don't know if you ever traveled from Khwai to Kasane we want to cross over to Zim at Kasane.

    Great video’s - we are planning to go in 2024. I’m thinking of booking a heli flight too - what is the duration of the helicopter flight out of the Khwai?- do you perhaps know how this compares to a flight out of Maun? Thx for your help with this

    • @AndrewSenior
      @AndrewSenior  Год назад

      Hey Johan, the heli-flip is one of the best ways to experience the delta. I would absolutely recommend a 1hr flight from Khwai over the flight from Maun - I’ve done both. You need to see in advance if they would have an aircraft in the area to accommodate that and pre-arrange the meet-up time and location if doing it from Khwai.

      For this one I used Botswana Footprints. They were extremely helpful and even checked in on us prior to heading to Kubu (roads were wet).
