Its the riders of the storm loop scavenged 2 stroke that made a lot of power below 3200 rpm!
the first few notes of both guitar and organ to Light my Fire were what got me into music at the tender age of 17 in 1981. i had never heard anything so unique, spirital and special ever and since. Ray Jim RIP. these covers are exceptional and am so envious. i have tried so often over decades to perfect this. i never came close.

Just Awesome!!!!! Totally Awesome!!! Almost identical to the studio recording. Amazing that the doors never did the same instrumental version of light my fire in concert.
You bet! And always welcome too. That was the absolute best rendition - right on line with the original keyboarding and guitar. Definitely high quality work. Can't praise it enough!
Ray Manzarek was one of the best keyboardist in modern music. His playing set apart the Doors from anything else that was sounding in those years. And, boy, what a good speaker he was too. I bet people would have paid to sit for hours hearing him talking about the days and playing the songs 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
wow, nice job ... you can tell this man is passionate about The Doors so much so that he learned how to play this song and perhaps others or at least to perfect their music. Love it !
Beautifully performed and truthfully transcribed from the original. Just curious about the use of two hands for the triads, what's the thought process behind it? It could and should be performed using one hand only, since the other hand is occupied with the bass part. As far as I can see, some triads are performed with one hand, others using two. What's your thoughts on these choices?
I just have to take a minute of my time to say: excellent job! Really good and sure Ray is proud of this. Very nice instruments. I wonder what year your Casino is. Looks and sounds 10/10.
hey i recognise what you are playing !!!!! you are playing EXACTLY what was on the ORIGINAL light my fire record which is the LONG version of the song with that extra long ORGAN SOLO AND LEAD GUITAR SOLO in it !!!!!! GREAT stuff dude ! well done ! :)

Hi Duncan, we managed to get our hands on a (very) old Organ, owned by an Organ collector, I'm not sure about the specific model. Anyway, the sound was merged with a 60's organ virtual instrument.
excellent, excellent job! My wife got the sheet music to organ for this and wants to do real bad. She can read sheet music, So, many notes..;.in that solo! . Great guitar too. Thank you, a real treat.
Nice work, now I wonder how Ray played the bass parts and the keys solo when they did it live..(after setting those two- handed sections) Great cover of a great song.
@@NadavMerom The fact that you use two hands is actually a bonus because it makes it a lot easier to decode what notes you're playing (or more importantly, not playing, because even the denser-sounding instances of chord voicings Ray invents are often surprisingly sparse, using the Vox's strong harmonic overtones to good effect.

This organ sounds so much more like the solo in the original song than almost any other keyboard cover on RUclips. It sounds superb!
Hi Zeus,
I have to be honest, the sound you hear is a Vox Continental VSTi (Virtual Instrument)
The organ you see in the video sounded very different.
Wouah really amazing sound and playing!
I agree the organ is very closed to the original. Where did you get a vst that sound like this?
@@NadavMerom incredibile Vox Continental VST! great performance.
Do you use an amplifier for the vox VST?

I’m honestly more curious on this history of rock
denifively i like progresive music then
Prog didn't die. It's very much still alive. I recently saw King Crimson and saw Yes back in 2019. Prog rock will stay alive!
