Yes. US Airways serves Orlando International Airport (MCO), which is the former McCoy AFB. Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) also serves the area.
@minkyblack I like the GE90 engines used on the Boeing 777. The engines used on the Boeing 757 were very powerful, the 757 had a very short takeoff run because of it, and could climb faster than any other aircraft in the segment.
It's a 2008 Dell Inspiron Mini 910 Series. It runs Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition SP3 installed in 2007 and 1 GB of RAM, and an Intel Atom CPU N270 @ 1.60 GHz. The CPU fan is busted and it makes that noise of an RB211 or a PW2000 engine.
@minkyblack The 757 uses Rolls royce engines, very distinctive growling noise at high thrust. Also, overpowered. The 757 has been called the corvette of passenger jets for this reason.
@minkyblack I thought so, because on delta I would watch the little screen that gave the air mph, and right before touchdown it was always around 150 mph.. I have take off and landing vids on my site as well, so take a look...I am always behind the wing usually..
@rudolphna54 ok thanks! another question..how fast is the 737 going in miles per hour, right before take off...I say it's like 150 mph, but no pilot or flight attendant I have ever asked, can answer that question...
The 757 is like a jaguar, it just leaps off the runway and isn't even breathing hard :) Great vid of this airplane in particular.
wow love those RB211s.. sound quality is very nice.
Ahhh...the sweet sound of Rolls-Royce power. Music to my ears.
einsteinboricua love when they're at full power

thanks! the best sounding engine I've heard was on a midwest express md80 back in 96..they were P&W engines...love the sound of those!
the RB211 is probably the best engine for its weight class
Holy cow this take off was way before 2009!! I saw SONG Airlines and the 4th runway wasn't even finished yet! I'm guessing 2000 or 2001?
Nah 2004

Powerful. Thank you for sharing 👍🏿
This is why I love the 757
I flew in an A-320 out of Chicago a while back. Liked the ride just fine. Still prefer the 757/767 ride though...
@minkyblack The 737-800 uses the CFM 56-7. CFM is a joint venture between General Electric and Snecma of France.
it turns out great! I was using a canon power shot A620, but now use my canon rebel T1i for video love the sound of those engines!
What a beautiful sound... I love the sound of engines
Great takeoff, seems like Florida is cleaner than many other states.
whenever i hear that sound chills run down my spine!!!!

great vid!!! what camera did you shoot this with? what engines are those?
@minkyblack This was back when I was using a Sony TRV20 camcorder.
I love the sound of a boeing engine giving full throttle.
LOVE THE SOUND!

Yeah i know. I still watch this vid like over and over lol.
thanks!
haha I'm glad you favoured this :)
Sorry, its been so long I do not remember the exact seat. If I had to guess I would say 4A....partially based on the view I had of the engine.
@rudolphna54 what engine does the 737 800 series use? I fly a lot on southwest..
All Cactuses' 7-5s have RR RB211-535 E4 engines.
@minkyblack it is a rolls-royce RB211-538
Perfect!
@rudolphna54 ok thanks! another question..how fast is the 737 going in miles per hour, right before take off...I say it's like 150 mph, but no pilot or flight attendant I have ever asked, can answer that question...
@rudolphna54 is it around the same speed when they land?
nice video!!!!!!!!!!
what goes on inside the engine while spooling up, to make it go from the whine, to the buzz sound?
Fan-tastic views!!!!!!!!!!
I love the 757s. Does anyone know if this airport is the old McCoy AFB converted to Orlando Airport?
@minkyblack Those are definitely Rolls Royce engines.
Yes, as far as less air and ground pollution.
@minkyblack I BELEIVE rotation speed on the 737 is 160-170. Don't hold me to that though.
what, in everyone's opinion, are the best engines?
Rolls Royce RB211-535E4s
it's a rocket!
RR RB211-535 E4
I think you guys might mean the engine manufacturer...
I can see a song plane.
Nice
@minkyblack They try to be,. yes. But whether it actually happens, not always.
