Just to note Molly, I think the reason you don’t typically like dry shampoos is because they aren’t really meant to make your hair FEEL cleaner, more so LOOK cleaner! So just know when you use them, your hair may not feel very nice but it probably looks a bit better than before.
Definitely, feels awful, may or may not look better. I'd recommend hair refreshers/no rinse shampoo/waterless shampoo. Helps me when I can't wash my hair for weeks on end, and definitely better than dry shampoo on short men's hair. Or just spraying my hair with water from a spray bottle helps it go back to normal in the morning unless it's too greasy.

I was looking up braise dice, and other than the fact it exists, and you can freely download the 3D printing model. the dive you can buy are really expensive compared to normal dice.
I think this is a great tutorial even for sighted users! Tip from a former hair stylist: you mentioned that your hair drops pretty quickly. something that will help hold the curl longer would be to apply hairspray after each section. Also, using the clip your hair up after each big section definitely helps the curl hold better. You can level this up by clipping them up while the curls are still warm, if they cool while your hair is clipped up, it helps the curl stay longer, and drop more slowly. Otherwise, such a fantastic job and tutorial!
I'd love to see Molly try using foam rollers!! I have some that have a wire running through them, all you have to do to keep them in is twist the roller ends together, so easy!! I don't really have to be looking all the time to do these, and my hair is in beautiful curls that last me 3+ days if I watch how I tie up my hair at night 💞 honestly, these are a game changer for me and now I'm curling my hair all the time just for fun! Cosmetology School graduate here! You have fine hair and high density. Texture is the size of the individual strands. Density is measured by hair strands per square inch. I love you and your videos Molly!
@@MollyBurkeOfficial No, thank you! I'm a mom of two boys, 12 & 16. I am also not as able-bodied as I used to be (I have Tarlov Cyst Disease) so anxiety likes to live with me often. You help boost my serotonin:)
Even though your roots show a lot when your hair is up in a bun, it’s gorgeous! I feel like I’m able to imagine you as a full brunette again. I’ve really gotten used to your blonde hair so I couldn’t really imagine it anymore. Lol. It’s wild how little your roots show while your hair is down! Pretty cool.
You described your hair perfectly! Thick, fine hair 😁👍 Thick being the amount of hair follicles per square inch, and thin being the thickness of each individual hair strand. Opposite would be thin, coarse hair
Your hair looks so good! And as for brushing out curls, I like to turn my hair over and shake my hair and run my fingers through it. Especially when I alternate the curls. It makes it super voluminous and messy but in a good way. I also really like the way my wet brush brushes them out. I just do one pass on each side of my head and a couple in the back and it makes my curls into super pretty beachy waves.
Sticking your fingers into your roots, and shaking your fingers through your hair after finger brushing, will really help add a bit of volume to the roots, and another great way without having yto flip your head upside down!
‘I’m not looking for perfection’ reminds me of when you bathed Gallop and said ‘we’re not looking for perfection, we’re just looking for a less stinky Gallop’
I'm not blind but I have the same type of hair you do and my go to for when I want loose beachy waves is braids. I'll put some loose hold texturizing spray in my hair (sexy hair Texture Beach'n Spray) and then pull my hair into a tight french/Dutch braid. Let the braid sit for at least a few hours then remove fluff with fingers and finish with a light hold hairspray.

I was always told to curl away from the face. I can do it with a curling wand without a mirror (naturally curly hair and blind in my right eye, my hands take over). But I can only do an away curl on my left side with straighteners (I’m right handed which might be a factor)
I never heard the trick about curling away from your face! I used your video tips to curl my hair for my engagement photos yesterday and loved the way it looked! I wanted to thank you for helping me feel beautiful for my photos :)
I like what you said about losing your curling iron. I had the same thought when I accidentally left my backpack somewhere. I figured if someone found it and took it, they probably really needed it, and it made me feel better about losing it.
I have natural curly hair, humidity is not my friend, I usually just put in a pony tail. But I had a surgery 3 year ago that made 90% of my hair fall out, it grew back but it was at various lengths. So I cut it all to what the shortest length was, I now sport a pixie cut. I have a bell to go spiky and a curl gel when I want to give it a wavy curl, or help my natural curls, and I use a comb when it needs a trim just to make the million cow licks smooth. 😂 this simple Tom boy loves the ease of hair care and wonder why I waited 40 years to chop it all off. No more frizz, not tangles, no having to do my hair. But I enjoy watch other girls do their hair it always looks so pretty.
Thank you so much for this! It is honestly a very hard challenge for me to curl my hair along with being legally blind, I also have cerebral palsy on my left side which makes it challenging to hold the hair and this helps a lot. Thank you! I hope to see more of these

Molly, my favorite dry shampoo is The Dry Shampoo from The Crown Affair. It comes with a cute little brush which makes it easy to apply where you need it and to have it seamlessly blend in and absorb. They sell it at Sephora and on their website. And the Dyson Airwrap is amazing for curling your hair, but there is definitely a learning curve to it. So it may be helpful to have your mom watch the Dyson tutorials on how do properly do it and then she can teach you. But once you have figured it out, it is a lot easier than the Babyliss device you are currently using. ☺️
I used this machine so mich I broke it and had to replace it with a new one (it lasted over 7 years so not a bad shout at all). I loved this tutorial and you are absolutely correct about the small sections!
Molly, I love you so SO much! 😂😂😂😂 I appreciate your honesty so so much about the blue screen covering house clutter you didn’t feel like cleaning 😂😂😂 that is SO relatable, keep being real, girlfriend!!! 💜💜💜💜💜 I’m here for the ride, baby!!! 😂🤣 I wish we could be friends in real life, lol if that’s not too weird to say 😂
I also have very fine hair but there is a lot of it. I found that short bob style works best because I can just wash my hair and blow dry it to get volume. Almost all hair products will just weigh it down so I don't use any except heat protectant.
Thank you for saying you feel privileged to have straight hair! I have very thick, frizzy, unruly hair naturally, I can never know what my hair is going to do day to day. I can't just wake up and look "professional" or "put together". Even with a professional blow out there is a good chance it will be puffy and frizzy looking in a few hours, let alone if I just do it myself. I have done my hair for an event the way I know usually gets the best results and within a hour it looked horrible, like I hadn't done it at all. Most days I do nothing with it because I'd rather put in no effort if it's going to look frizzy and wild either way. I see girls with glossy, straight hair that don't even need to do anything after showering and I just wish I had it easier like that (or I would love to have gorgeous curls, but I've tried the curly girl method and at best I'm just semi-curly, mostly wavy, but no real curl pattern).
Love the tutorial! I use a cordless automatic curler from Conair and absolutely love it! It's very compact and holds about 60 minutes of curling time from a charge and you don't have to worry about cords getting wrapped around your arms/body or being close enough to an outlet when you use it. Highly recommend!
Give the Amika Perk Up dry shampoo a try. I have very fine bleached hair and it is the only one I can tolerate! It does have a strong scent to it, but it smells amazing!
I can attest. I am in my mid 50s now. My hair was very fine and wouldn’t grow much past shoulder length when I was younger. After I hit 30, it started filling in and growing longer… As Molly says, The hair itself was very fine but I had a lot of it. I’ve never been able to get super long hair, but after 30, I loved the way it filled in and I could do so much more with it than I could when I was younger.
Drybar Detox dry shampoo in the original scent is my ride or die for life! It’s definitely on the pricier side compared to the popular drugstore brands, but I personally have never found any that work as well, and I only need a small amount. I can’t explain how much I love the smell. Sephora usually has travel sized bottles in the check out line, at least in the states. I personally have had little to no success with the OGX, Dove, or Batiste ones that everyone seems to love.
I feel the same way! I have the same hair texture as you and I’m a natural brunette but whenever my hair has a lot of bleached highlights the texture is so much easier to work with and my hair has so much more volume 💕 I don’t heat style as much anymore because my hair has become so much easier to work with since bleaching.
Honestly, bleaching my hair is the only thing that has helped with this! haha I've had hair dressers say that they've actually bleached peoples hair, only to immediately dye it back to the original color right away, simply to add more hold and texture to this hair type!! haha
@@MollyBurkeOfficial my mom!!! She has very fine hair so doing that helps her so much! My hair has suddenly decided to be curly at 40 yrs old? Lol half my strands are course & the other half are sleek. 🤷🏻♀️😅

the back looks great. The front just some thoughts, it always looks a bit odd to me when you curl it with the bangs very flat and down and the top very flat and down then at one very delineated point it suddenly becomes fluffy. Also, you cant trust your mother. Love her yes, trust her no. She always just says you look cute. Im sure you do to her. But if you are trying to achieve certain things in a specific way she seems a bit checked out. (Love you Mollys mom. But you gotta know its true!)
It seems that the top two inches that were curled lasted and the rest of it ended up straightening fairly quick. I also have insanely fine but ridiculously thick hair and bleaching helped to hold a curl, clipping up individual curls (a lot of effort but i hardly heat style my hair), and i think here what would really help is smaller sections. I think all the hair wraps around the same little but of heat so the heat doesnt penetrate the layers well. Smaller sections would help, as would increasing the heat. Its a time vs damage trade off with those two options though. Btw i also had tailbone (or longer) hair so it seriously would not curl. These options helped me
My hair is naturally wavy/curly and when I was younger I'd straighten my hair all the time. But I got sick of spending around an hour with my flat iron to straighten my hair. I had very thick hair while I was still straightening it. I lost a lot of thickness from having telogen effluvium after recovering from covid (even though my case was very mild) in 2020. It's finally getting some of it's original thickness back.

Your hair turned out great! I wish I had straight hair. I wake up every morning looking like a hurricane came through my bedroom. I have to wash my hair every day to get it tamed down.
It's so true that girls always want the hair they don't have. My mom and aunt have completely opposite hair types. My aunt's is stick straight and Mom's is so curly it's basically like a natural perm at all times. She said the two of them used to fight over the orange juice cans they would use as curlers. Thankfully, one of my best genetic features is my hair, my mom's is thick, my dad's is super thin and straight, so I got thick and wavy, but the cowlicks are ridiculous.
Love this intro, love the same attitude I have when someone steals something I lost... lol. Yeah....it is frustrating...but...it all works out in.the end.
My little sister has the same hair type - thick but fine. It’s also past her butt. Coloring it takes me hours! It gets tangled in the color brush because it’s almost spider web-like it’s so fine. ETA: a beautiful silky spider web, of course 😂
Try the Wylera. It's wireless (recharged) and it's way less clunky than what you're using. And you can't burn yourself. Check it out. I promise you'll find it really great and easy.

I want one of these! I'm just not very good at doing anything with my hair. You're hair looked beautiful.
Batiste is my fav dry shampoo, only one that makes my hair feel and smell clean. They have a lot of scents to choose from as well
Love the tutorial!
Amika makes my favorite dry shampoo. I hate dry shampoos but Amika’s feels like nothing. And it smells amazing.
Came here to say the same thing
Absolutely know quote lost two of my best lift sweaters....thank you I hope they are warm
She's so cute 🥰 I love a curling chatty tutorial 💓 thank you
Nip hair length gets longer as we get older. 😆😆😆
AHAHAHA love it!!!!
Hahah this is fantastic 😂😂😂
I love your openings girl rent away doesn’t matter your channel
Your beautiful Molly inside and out!
Aw, thank you so much!
The Paul Mitchell dry shampoo works so well and I’ve tried a few
I feel the same way! I have the same hair texture as you and I’m a natural brunette but whenever my hair has a lot of bleached highlights the texture is so much easier to work with and my hair has so much more volume 💕 I don’t heat style as much anymore because my hair has become so much easier to work with since bleaching.
I love the type of videos where you just chat to me like a friend (at least that's what it feels like lol)
My hair is the same way! It firmly decides that being curled is a bad decision and goes back to being mostly straight.
@@dianaw4072 wow, and I thought my flyaway curly.hair was a pain to deal with....I assume.you are going to get it all bleached and then colored to get it all on the same page.
Saaaaame lol
Even with a crap-ton of products it only stays for like an hour at most XD
Your hair looks amazing and you are great at tutoring and giving great advice and you are so hilarious I just enjoyed this video a lot
suggestion: create a how to start a business series! as someone who is just starting out it would be sooo helpful! I thought square space was not accessible.
the back looks great.
These options helped me
Are you blind?
I love Molly's craziness!😜
Straight, fine, silky and dense. That's my hair type too!
I love your long intro's. It is so you, just talking about everything.
You are stunning molly your hair is always beautiful love your videos no wonder your hair is always flawless you are awesome molly love you thank you for your videos
Saving this for tips on how to curl my hair because I’m so uncoordinated, maybe your instructions will actually help me lol
Go Molly . You are so inspiring.! Love the curls 💕
Love you Molly, you've really helped me so so much 🥰☺️
Hey Molly you should try heritage hair products and do a review on them!
I always use the nips as my measurement tool 😂 I’m cracking up, people have given me the same reaction mama Burke did 😂
I love Molly craziness
Love you and proud of you! Living proof dry shampoo is my favorite and we have the same hair type! Try it out.
In Florida we need plastic so our mail doesn’t get wet. When I send to other the desert I still do put of habit lol
I enjoy Molly Rambles. I am a rambler myself haha 😄
Thanks Molly for this video I love any of your beauty tips and hacks as a blind girl they help so much love you thanks for this video today I just tested positive for Covid and you made my day much brighter
Regarding the clips, you use them as a styling tool and a styling accessory ☺️
We have the same hair- fine, thick and grows fast.
Yes! I also have very fine hair strands, but a lot of them!! It's like... thick but also not? lol
Love this intro, love the same attitude I have when someone steals something I lost... lol. Yeah....it is frustrating...but...it all works out in.the end.
We have the same hair! @Molly Burke And I hate to recommend this but try the Dyson Corrale straightener for curling/waves lolol
Hey Molly you should try lush'es dry shampoo, its called No drought!
A beautiful inspiration 💙💙💙
I looove Molly on coffee :)
Your hair is beautiful!
My little sister has the same hair type - thick but fine. It’s also past her butt. Coloring it takes me hours! It gets tangled in the color brush because it’s almost spider web-like it’s so fine.
ETA: a beautiful silky spider web, of course 😂
You have to try Hask brand dry shampoo. It works better than any other that I have tried.
Try the Wylera. It's wireless (recharged) and it's way less clunky than what you're using. And you can't burn yourself. Check it out. I promise you'll find it really great and easy.
I would increase the heat a little because it probably needs a little more curl at the ends to hold and last longer
Check out the beachwaver it will give you more even curls
Yazzzz keep it up girl ❤️❤️
I love this video, we got so many fun stories in it 😂💜
I have the curl secret. It’s my favourite! I’m also totally blind.
Recommendation for the technique is to do smaller sections
