Brolin in this film honestly has an appearance that reminds me of Andy Griffith but perfectly captures Tommy Lee Jones' Agent K in his youthful years.
This is the final men in black, period.
4:21, you know, he probably heard weirder things in his time working for MIB.
Young K was amazing, especially once he finally believed J and he mulled it over before just accepting it based on all he'd seen up to that point.
This was the first movie where I discovered Josh Brolin was even a person
You should watch No Country For Old Men: JB is brilliant in that.
The Goonies

He's a fucking alien, gawd.

So many people sleep on just how amazing of an actor Will Smith is.
Honestly one of the best interrogation scenes I've ever viewed.
Hmm. You sure about that?
@@thedarkknight9153 Yes.
Watch Farscape.
I really like the comment at the end, "I put my pants on" 🤣🤣🤣
Josh hartnett reminds me of a young Tommy Lee but brolin does an admirable job.
It's Josh Brolin. Not Josh Hartnett.
@@Arcfear hes just saying that harnett would've made a good young tommy lee too
@@trivhead14 Oh. Now that you it and I thought about it... Josh Harnett looks good to be K before becoming a MIB agent. Maybe they could make a prequel when MIB began.
@@Arcfear This is correct. Josh Hartnett has not been seen nor heard from since Pearl Harbor.
@@LandRunProductions Mmmm... You should watch the last Jason Statham's movie _The wrath of man_.
I like how there are 👽aliens walking around like nothing, but when he knows something from the future it's a problem🤣
Because time travel is illegal.
1:37 after all these years at the age of 21 I just realised what O said. Meeting with Viagrans.. New pill.. 😳😏
Brolin is insanely convincing as a young Tommy Lee Jones
1:21 He knows what he is doing, trust him.
Yee, I noticed people didn't point out the fact he hid the gun
Simply put, Brolin is a phenomenal actor !
could not have picked a better actor for young K
Right after this scene was shot, Will Smith slapped the shit out of the director for making a joke about his wife.
I've seen this a few times, and I am only just now noticing the alien from Star Trek walking past. LOL!
Time?

It’s probably not that funny, but I lol hard at ‘I don’t know if I don’t know nothing’ everytime I hear it. Probably will smith’s delivery or something but it’s hilarious to me
When i first saw this movie i was under the assumption that they used Hollywood magic to de-age Tommy Lee Jones. I really did believe that Josh Brolin was just Tommy at a younger age.
I like how Will Smith slaps his role as J!
Will Smith blew the intestines out of me when he said 'huh' 😂😂😂😂 what an actor
One of those rare trilogies that actually improves with each one.. the 3rd movie was the best of the lot.
1>3>>>>>2
Like the second one wasn't objectively horrid.
1:24 I don't understand her reaction. It's almost like she's real-life about the faint.
kind of weird... maybe she is annoyed that J knows her code name?
4:14 "...or I'll slap the sh*t out of you".
this movie is a real slap to the face
My question is why in the universe where aliens come to earth and take up human identities and live human lives would you be surprised the time travel may exist? Your entire job is to deal with stuff out of the ordinary yet you don’t think that time travel is out of the ordinary?
not many people open themselves up to the "Alright, this might aswell happen also" attitude
mostly you open up to what you can personally verify and not much else
Who thought time travel was out of the ordinary?
Not surprised that time travel exists but just doesn't know who he is. I'm pretty sure they know it exists but its illegal
This has the same dumb energy as "Why are people surprised about Dragons in a world where elves exist?"
It’s also because he already inevitably said something that he shouldn’t have and then the playing dumb, he read between the lines
Will is a class act! Brollin also nailed it! 👌
I loved this movie, really felt like the series could continue with this style of formula. It's a shame that many didn't think the same and were just looking for the slapstick, one offs the other two movies were.
I love that shiny, chrome-y machine. Looks like a sophisticated espresso machine.
0:26 "Huh?" Kills me every time and will never get old😂.
Honestly, I love this movie, but this scene always bugged the hell out of me, K and J have been partners for a decade, yet J is somehow convinced that K would never believe him if he just explained what he was up to when he should have known better. There are so many points where they have J acting like a complete dum-dum for the sake of comedy when in actuality he should be a far more competent agent at this point.
I always assumed it was because he thought it would cause some time shenanigans
@@parodyisparody3158 ^This was it> he was trying to avoid a "paradox" but thats not how time travel worked in his world (something he could not have known)
I'm sure it's because he didn't want K to be a part of the events and J wanted to handle it on his own to decrease the chance of Ks death and decrease the amount of paradox's that could happen.
This movie was hilarious and needs to be seen more than once.
4:49 I put my pants on 😭😭😭
1:26 Trust him. He knows what he's doing.
Will Smith is what made the whole franchise great
He made it work
Back when Hollywood hired younger actors to play younger versions of characters instead of using eldritch magics and CGI to de-age them.
The original K, Tommy Lee Jones has made movies for a very long time. His being an mib agent mirrors his long acting career. He might've doubled as an actual mib.
When it shuts down (3:22) it is the same sound as the Millennium Falcons hyper drive malfunctioning.
That's what my car sounds like when it won't turn on 😆
that "Eye exam" was a throwback to the first movie. doesn't even realize when seeing it for the first time.
This movie was the first time I happened across Josh Brolin after The Young Riders, all those years ago. Needless to say, I was stoked. He was my favorite young rider.
