    That is one of the cleanest I30's I've seen in a while. Thanks for sharing.

    My 5 speed 98’ A32 Caught on Fire 😢🤧🤧. Man God is good all the time I prayed for 1 and eventually my prayers came true and man mine was Forest Green !! Injen CAI injectors bigger throttlebody. 😵‍💫 I get sick thinking about her but she was special.. replaced her with a 2001 Q45 T

    Awesome find. I have found the same 1996 i30t with far more miles but it does have the 5spd that ill be checking out today. Ive owned several 4th gen maximas only manuals and its had to believe that it only makes 190hp. Feels like more, plus the reliability is just unmatched. Its unfortunate about the rust issues that you mentioned that are very true.

    Great video! I just picked up a 1998 Infiniti i30t with a 5MT and 108k miles. It has been super nice for me. My shifter was pretty sloppy so I changed it out and I had to do a fuel pump to it. I am going to replace the plugs and coils since they’re original and I did a trans fluid change. I love the car! Its a pleasure to drive. Thanks for the great review!

    Always a fan of the nissan VG and VQ engines, I had a love/hate relationship with my VQ35 engine . Loved the power, hated the oil consumption. I'm currently driving a 99 i30t 5 speed and man I miss driving a manual.

    • @autoavids
      @autoavids  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching! The VGs had a nice growl and the VQs were smooth and torquey. As far as the VQ35s, they all consumed oil. Some worse than others, but if you took care of them they could see 400k+ easy.

      @@autoavids that's cool man, you ever drive a Lexus SC400 and/or BMW 850i? those are two of my dream cars

    • @autoavids
      @autoavids  Год назад +1

      I've had the opportunity to own examples of both. One 850 which was a little rough and had some electrical issues, still absolutely loved it. Several SCs 300s and 400s. If given the choice I'd go for another SC.

    You can shift them with ease from the first to third and from third to the fifth.

      Plenty of torque from that VQ.

    • @carstencroessmann
      @carstencroessmann 3 года назад

      Do you know for what the T stands for? We only have the Nissan Maxima QX trims here in Germany which are similar. They mostly shifted because germans like to shift and with the VQ 20 and VQ30

    • @autoavids
      @autoavids  3 года назад

      Yes, the T is for Touring. It is the sport trim for the I30, similar to the Maxima SE.

      Ahhh thanks buddy now I know. I just workwd on the 24 years old of my father in law. He wanna sell it because he baught an Infintiy now. I lowered it him 21 years ago as I saw in the papers. They just wanna give him 800€ so I decided to keep it. Got only 175tkm which is around 108kmls. Rust is my biggest enemy, because of the winter and salt, but almost done, welded an new front into the frame luckily found a used one. Now our daughter can ride it and in 6 years we get the historical plates. But it's an Automatic, before the A32 he owned a J30 that was a shifter. Man burn out in 3'rd gear no problem. Once I'm finished I'll make a video too. Greetings from Germany

    Where do you think I get a pair of rim caps for the exact rims

    • @autoavids
      @autoavids  2 года назад

      Internet search is your best friend. These share the same center cap with some BMWs and other BBS wheels. I believe the # is RG032. You may need to swap out the emblem. Hope that helps, thanks for watching 👍

    I wanna get some bigger rims what size would u recommend

    • @autoavids
      @autoavids  2 года назад +1

      I wouldn't go bigger than 18's 19's at the most. Bigger than that will ride like crap and the suspension would have a hard time coping.
