What a crazy rare car. I30t’s were hard to find as it is. Most i30’s were just regular versions. Finding an i30t with a 5 speed manual is the holy grail. I had a 1997 i30t but unfortunately it was an auto. I’ve never seen a 5 speed i30 in real life.
I'm about to pick up one this weekend. Ive seen a handful of i30t but never manual and this one I'm getting is grey on grey with heated seats and 1 owner car for 2k.
I just snagged a 1998 i30t 5MT for 2500 the other day. 108k miles. Nearly perfect. Has a couple scuffed body panels, a broken mirror and it’s missing a vent on passenger side dash. It’s my new daily
This was the maxima everywhere outside of N. America. This was badged as the Infiniti here. Then cheapened the North American maxima. This was so seriously underrated and a victim of the crowded field. In my opinion this Infiniti/Nissan was best and after 1999 Nissan was wrecked.
I have the '99 altima 5 speed , I take it to the car wash anytime I have a spare $5 in my wallet. It has a nice luxury sport feel compared to the '90 civic I had .
@@TysonHugie still missing my Taffeta coupe, I was in the Bay Area group when you drove over from AZ, and we did a group ride through Santa Rosa with a Hooters lunch included. Man that must of been between 02-05.
18 years old and 134,597, that about 7,500 a year, the average American drives about 13,400+! Just goes to show you not everything over 100,000 miles is bad!
J. G. Oh yeah, remember that car! The 1992 cefiro here was also called Laurel-Altima as well. It used to be a rear wheel drive car with rb20det in it. I still miss those sleepers 😂😂😂
This was my first car took care of it but got smacked in front left wheel while i was in restaurant.😥 in the end gave it to cousen for 500 and got an suv cuz i got a family now🙂
I bought the i30 1999 for $60,000 Mexican pesos, about $3000 USD with only 60k miles, I use it every day, it's above 70k miles now and it works pretty good.
@@Darksyne maybe not but I'd already bought a car before I saw this one and buying another car wasn't (and still isn't) a good financial decision for me
@@carstencroessmann I still drive one in NZ with a 5 speed manual transmission. It is the most reliable car I've ever owned and looks almost as good as the day it came out of the factory. 25 years old and still going strong, not a single thing is broken inside or out.
@@slooob23 Totally agree.I just work on the 24 years old of my father in law. He wanna sell it because he baught an Infintiy now. I lowered it him 21 years ago as I saw in the papers. @@carstencroessmann I'd love to see your video when its done. I had to repair the front radiator support too, but that is the only moderately expensive repair I've done in 6 years. The rest of the car is rust free. The radiator support (some call it the front cross member) is a common issue on this model. I've got 220,000km on mine, my mechanic has one with 450,000km on the clock with the same automatic transmission!
This is the most gorgeous i30 I have ever seen. Even has the same wheels and steering wheel in my 97 Q45t.
Great cars for sure
Looks as new as I remembered them when they first came out. Wow, the memories.
The design has definitely aged well!

Beautiful Infiniti I30!

Underrated car. All I can say.

It’s. So. Beautiful.
I know! So rare with the stick shift! I had to have it. (Even if I wasn't planning on keeping it very long)
Also know as maxima in the middle east ♥️
Yes!
Rare gem indeed, very nice, vid is appreciated - hope it went to a good owner.
Thank you, it did!

I didn’t know you had this lol? Don’t know how I had missed this video?
It was a fun one while it lasted! I sold it on Bring a Trailer quite a while ago.
Oh wow this is lovely. Do you mind me asking how much it sold for on BaT?
Sure, it went for $4,200 in November 2017.

True!
one question do you know what suspension they had as an agency
Nice profile pic! No, I'm not sure on that.
Strangely, it's called as the Nissan Maxima here in Emirates
Mohammad Azhar it is not a rebadged version of the u.s. maxima. It is a rebadged version of the JDM Nissan Cefiro.
