  • The 2020 Jaguar I-PACE HSE 400 is a Jaguar first, electric vehicle second. Unlike a Tesla, this Jag exudes essense, style, luxury, and performance. The I-PACE has 400hp, fast charge capability, and a fabulous style.

    Nice review and after 4 months of I Pace ownership I can only agree that it is a wonderful means of transport. My only point of disagreement with you is the layout of the drive buttons. In your traditional autobox, who ever thought it was a good idea to pull the stick back to go forward and push it forward to go backwards? Well done Jag for stopping this nonsense. It takes about a week to get used to this more logical way to layout the drive buttons.

    Glad you liked the I-Pace. I’ve had mine for 11 months now and still love it. I have home charging which makes a huge difference to the whole ownership experience. It’s actually better than having a petrol (gas to you) car once you start charging at home. Waking up every morning with a “full tank” is something you quickly get used to. Never again will I have to leave for work 10 minutes early because I need to fill up!

    "Confirmarion bias" lol, so true, so true... love that term. I work in software and software people have confirmation bias when they talk about the only language they know. Anyway, was just at a Jag dealership looking at these. Very impressive. The doors also have a sensor and an indicator to let you know if you can open your door without it hitting something outside. Very clever! Nice car and nice review!

    Have Audi A3 etron plug in hybrid. Majority of drive in electric with its 100bhp electric motor. It's faster than most gas cars from the lights. I wish could get iPace its just such a lovely looking car.

      How is this car? I'm considering it used or Kia Niro before I get this.

      Frags only occur at that location. It's weird.

    Are you saying Tesla would rather give their cars to Instagram butt models than to the legitimate journalist?

    I drive 30,000 miles a year. An electric car is not an option for me. If I had to buy one it would be a $35k Tesla. The only Jag I really loved was the Jaguar Vanden Plas a real beauty

      @@RoadandTract you're right. I've got the VW Touareg TDI - so far I've got 17000 miles on it. Once I hit 150000 miles i'll start looking

    There never was any Ford in the Jaguar. Ford just gave them money and then turned them loose.- Just like they did with Volvo and Aston Martin. Funny how nobody mentions that.

      I'm fairly certain the XJ under Ford (pre 2006) had Ford parts on the interior. I could be wrong.

      @RoadandTract  4 года назад +1

      400 metric is 394.53. Close enough.

    Confirmation bias aside - you seem to know a lot about Tesla cars or drivers without driving the Tesla or being a driver of Tesla cars...

      That's because Tesla doesn't have press cars, so it means they don't have a real press relationship - just hype. Tesla does invite influncers to their events and it's completely bought and paid for endorsement. I don't get paid for reviewing vehicles.

      @@RoadandTract - I got that from your video - and thanks for replying to my message. Given that this is your first electric car I think it would be great for you to compare this to a Tesla [borrow it from a friend]. Specifically - how is the charging network in the USA and is the IPace compatiblle with those chargers...

    you are very unfair to the car. If only you used it properly you would never be so critical
