I was never able to play Gen 5. I stayed away due to the controversies. I'm a Gen 4 baby, but DAMN. I really wanna find a copy of Black 1 and White 2, the music is AMAZING. And your remix is by far the best one for me because it captures that grueling bass 5 seconds into it. That bass is my favorite part of the song and all others replace or forget it and that sense of danger and anxiety is lost for me.
The controversies were just people being retards because of the changes they made, gen 5 is honestly the best gen in the entire franchise to this day in my opinion, in terms of gameplay and story. And it's all because of one reason and one reason only, Game Freak wasn't trying to appeal only to kids in gen 5, which is why the story is so serious when compared to the other gens and why the protags are aged up to 16 instead of the usual 11 or 12 of other gens.

I mean, usually many remasters lose the intensity of the original song or sound a bit different due to the shift in instruments. But here... your remaster conveys the exact same pace, threat and feelings that the original had.
Out of all of the remixes and remasters I've heard this is the only one that can actually make me feel like I did when I first fought the elite 4 in second grade.

@@irikachana gen 5 is definitely my favourite it was such a drastic leap from gen 4 in terms of story and mechanics, my only real complaint is how linear it feels sometimes but that’s a bit unavoidable when you emphasise the narrative a lot more heavily. The music is easily my favourite in the series apart from the gym theme from galar

Not the ones that absolutely and drastically change the source materials, but ones like this one, simply expanding on the initial song, adding occasional additional notes and making it sound just the slightest bit different, but not enough to make it sound like a different song.

This is easily the best version of this song. You even included the piano riff that makes the Hoenn reference harmonize so well! Also, I’ve said it and I’ll say it again: that segment may be a reference to Hoenn, but Unova owns it now. They did it better.

I used to be a Gen 4 guy, but Gen 5 is my fav. Cool pokemon, so much to do, so many new features, and introduced many dynamic characters, including my favorite: Colress, just an extremely hard man and scientist, ruler of Team Plasma who saw the error of his ways and saved Lily in Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon from Ghetsis before literally sending him back from where he came from. People may say Gen 5 sucks, however, I disagree! I like Gen 5 so much and miss it that when Legends: Arceus comes out, I'm choosing Oshawott as my starter, no competition.
Pokemon white was my first pokemon game; and I had NO idea how you were *supposed* to actually play a pokemon game going into it. I thought you were supposed to "Catch 'em all" so I did. I caught nearly every pokemon I met, and I'd look up every trainer's team on bulbapedia to make sure I brought the best possible team to every individual fight. It was slow, arduous, and very, very silly. Then I learned I'd have to face the Elite Four without being able to re-spec my team at a PC in-between every fight. For me, this is the song of being FORCED, kicking and screaming, to put together a single team that can handle a variety of threats and HAVING to put faith in them.
This Needs To Be Said, AND NEEDS TO BE DONE! Pokémon Should REMAKE Pokémon Black and Pokémon White! With this Remastered version of the Elite 4 song, it’s a Golden Opportunity for Pokemon to Remake Black and White!

People who said that the 4gen is th best because of "mommy" I'm so sorry but 5th take the cake Easily , in all of the possible way , no slow health bar , the game that included Illimited CT which was LONG asked to ease and avoid farming like a pork for money. The game that truly put a base to strategies had a better story and plot-twist , ALSO end game being hard as hell if unprepared (1st ending). The game that had a lot of mysteries gift for it's time unlike the 4th. Don't get me wrong 4th is really good , bur 5th it's basically the pinacle of the 2d pokémon and that's the ONLY one i don't wan't a remake of zfter xhat they did with let's go and brillant / shining.
