Before anybody complains about the lack of landscaping on this ride, they had a whole storyline with the themeing to match planned, but complications with the fire that destroyed the queue building caused them to have to put the added themeing on hold.
I see people trying to defend the themeing but holy hell the ride itself looks like the pov of your favorite candy bar on the conveyor
Lost island seems well done. A very clean looking park. It’s like each piece of land was thought of, made for, and built around the ride. As opposed to building their rides around the land.
I'm giving this park some time to add in more theming and let the trees grow. I can see great potential in this place, but they just have to work their way there.
Nice
I really want this park to succeed, but holy smokes do they just not understand a few key elements to running a park. The entire park feels slow and empty. There’s no landscaping, and nothing to do in between each attraction. It’ll take YEARS for those small trees to grow, and given the slow pace of this ride specifically they need to give the guests something to look at
this was probably filmed during the morning when they were closed but I totally agree
It was a colder day outside, so not a lot of people are going to go on a water ride, and Yuta Falls constantly has a line, and the queue is almost completely filled each day
@@kazutoraswrench875 this park is always dead tho but i’m pretty sure they weren’t open yet. coaster force flims with nobody around usually
@@kazutoraswrench875 colder day and this was posted 2 weeks ago? colder day but everyone has on shorts?🤣
I would have thought this was in the middle of nowhere if it wasn't for the turn just before the second lift hill!!!
Such a great park. I really hope everyone gets a chance to go and visit sometime.
The landscaping is awful, it looks like a concrete jungle at the moment
@@coasters4life388 Having been there in person, it really doesn't. The ride areas are bare, but everything along the paths and other small attractions is wonderfully themed and landscaped. The plants are new, so they still have to grow in though. It looks much better in person than it does on camera.
@@j-coasters I’ve also been there in person, one of the ugliest looking parks I’ve been to. No surprise that it’s had very low attendance.
@@coasters4life388 When did you go? I know that a lot of the landscaping work has occurred in the last two or so months. The park's first season looked bad though, I won't lie.
@@j-coasters I went once on the opening day then another time last month. It’s slightly better but still not good.
AINT NO WAY IM JN THIS VIDEO 😭
Was the park closed when this was shot?
Looks identical to Diamond River at Legendia. Just newer 😆
if you build a new park, don´t spend it all on attractions, safe yourself a bit of money for theming. otherwise, looks good.
BRUH NO WAY
No landscaping with just rocks and seeing just the pools of water give backroom vibes.
This ride definitely needs more scenery.
Is this park in Iowa?
And now watch a video on chiapas in phantasialand to see what this otherwise great ride is missing.
First
LOOK HAVING FUN
So thats where Shoot the Rapids went 😂
Wow. stopped at minute. Way too dull.
I hate to bag on this park but...what's the point of this ride? No theme or landscaping, 5 minutes of bouncing off a concrete canal and lift hills for a grand finale of disappointing drops? Holy cow they need to do better than this. Gravel: The Ride.
They had more themeing planned but they, ya know, had a fire that destroyed the queue building and station.
I still think this place is a joke. Who the hell builds a theme park in Iowa 3 hours from the nearest airport?
The Bertch family knew that most of the people in their town couldn’t afford to go to places like Disney and such so they created both the waterpark and the theme park to provide them a fun experience. They never created the parks to be huge moneymakers, they just want them to be able to sustain themselves.
the water park across the street is one of the best and it's packed every day
This is "immersive?" XD
Lame!
boring
