Jumanji Description: When two kids find and play a magical board game, they release a man trapped in it for decades - and a host of dangers that can only be stopped by finishing the game.

Major has me behind the 8 ball! Two releases today! A special treat for the Fam! Enjoy! You know the drill, do it!
#MajorReacts I love Jumanji great movie but I have some advise if you hear me and some of the OGs of the channel out: yes do this movie and then newer ones in order afterwards. When they are finished, I'll go back in time and address the different nuisances in each one the even other reactors have looked over. I know you can not play the whole movie on RUclips and you have the digital copy and using that on Patreon(that's cool you do you) if it's not broken why fix it?
This is kinda the first movie...there's many others before Robin Williams was announced as the sole carrying leading man in this series,I'll explain and post those links up too..
Many of you will Greatly overlook the kids futuristic version of Jumanji called "Zenthara" which was released on cartoon network over 15 years ago. Cartoon network at the time was booming with different series of movies here's a small list that are notable at that era: Series of Unfortunate Events, Monstrous House, Golden Compass, SpiderWick Chronicles, Eragon, i am Number 4, SpaceJam, the Original Little rascals tv series, allbthe batman animated movies, all the batman cross over series of movies, all the superman, flash, greenlantern, wonder woman, aquaman cross over movies, etc etc but back to the actors/actresses of the Zanthra movie. ..( has a lot of powerful young actors and future actors who made huge contributions to cancer research, diabetes, bone marrow advanced research and aerospace technologies.. oh yeah they did a lot with their lives .(while others just sat back with beer, wine, cookies, chips and pork rines in their hands and mouths 😅)

My favorite Robin Williams film is often overlooked, but it is a low-key gem. Bicentennial Man (1999) deals with A.I., sentience and "human" rights.
Another more "spiritual" drama that he did is What Dreams May Come (1998). I can't tell you what it deals with without spoiling it. I also can't tell you why it is so ironic that Robin Williams did a movie dealing with the topic. Just react to it and you'll understand.
Yes!!! Love that movie.
Bicentennial Man is a great movie!
That wasn't as subtle as you think
@@josiahferrell5022 I wasn't going for subtlety. You're not as clever as you think.
@@tofersiefken You, yourself, said that you didn't want to say what it was about, then said it anyway
I love the movie Mrs Doubtfire
I love Death to Smoochy! Great soundtrack (wish they would release an official soundtrack on CD/vinyl. I'd buy the hell outta that!)
Mrs Doubtfire for damn sure my boy! Patch Adams is also good
What Dreams May Come!!! Just make sure you have a box of tissues or two, cause it's an emotional but UNBELIEVABLY underrated film. SOOOO Damn good.
Major, everyone is mentioning Robin's popular films, and they're all great. But you HAVE to watch his more serious and to me underrated films, One Hour Photo and Insomnia. I never knew he could take on those roles and kill it!!!
25:34 Holy crap you caught that it's the same actor. SO overlooked.
One of my earliest memories is watching this on VHS in my room when I was 4. So either in late 1996 or 1997. I thought the effects were so cool back then and a lot of them still hold up today. RIP Robin 💖
I love when classics get the spotlight 🥰. Love your reactions man 😊
That sound he makes when the plant drags the car into the woods always makes me laugh, so random lol. Those plants creeped me out as a kid and came off as the biggest threat to me.
Boarding school alumn here! We went home thanksgiving, Christmas/new years, spring break, and summer. Parents could visit whenever. It was basically college with more rules
You have to watch Hook, Alladin, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets Society, Mrs.Doubtfire, and Good Morning Vietnam. All are certified Robin Williams classics! Hook is probably my personal fav.
Great react as always. ‘Hook’ would be a dope Robin Williams reaction.
Lookie lookie I got Hooky.
Rufio Rufio Rufioooo
By far one of my favorites.
Bangarang😁
Robin Williams was a fun guy to watch and made some good films! My two favs- Mrs . Doubtfire and Good Morning Vietnam.
He survived for 26 years because he was supposed to. The saying said wait till the dice read 5 or 8. Not die first chance you get. So he had to live with the horrors.
I generally don't like remakes, especially with classic movies, but I really like Jumanji, Welcome to the Jungle. It's a great update from board game to video that still respects the original and the all the actors do a first rate job! ❤
Robin is great in What Dreams May Come
Go with Mrs Doubtfire next!! 🙏🏻😁
Children at boarding schools usually go home for school holidays, which are often longer than the holidays for non-boarding schools as boarding schools have lessons on Saturdays, occasionally they do stay in school all year without lessons during the holidays, perhaps if their parents are abroad or something. That's how it is in Britain anyway.
Van Pelt is the same actor as the Dad, but he's not supposed to be the same character.
My favourite Robin Williams movie is Hook, which is often underrated. I also liked Mrs. Doubtfire. He had so many great roles.
Im going to have say that 1996 movie Jack starring Robin Williams was one of his most underrated movie of all time! If you get a chance to watch this movie #MajOrReacts2023 please do this movie after Bicentennial man!! This movie hits all the feels and drop all the issues this movie had and I'll 😅compare it to scientific Recent studies as of mid 2023 this year of this movie, they got the facts abd research all messed up(not even close to what this character had)
A combined group. The ringling brothers of Barlamin and Bailey Circus.
It's an emphatic YES from me for you to watch more Robin Williams films on the channel. I would love to see you do One Hour Photo or What Dreams May Come, though you would definitely have a blast with The Birdcage.
You should watch Zathura:A Space Adventure. It's essentially the sequel of Jumanji. It was the second book written by the original author, after Jumanji, and the movie about it is as great as the 1995 Jumanji
Drama film Awakenings is an overlooked Robin Williams gem that you may want to check out. It's Williams in one of his more serious roles, with co-starring Robert DeNiro
I'm gonna hit you in the feels with this Robin Williams suggestion, but What Dreams May Come is an amazing movie! ❤
**Bring tissues
Yes all Robin Williams!!! I absolutely love watching movies with you! Don't forget Black Monday 😁
This is the 12th of 15 films where the first time I saw it, I didn't know what it was. Even then, it does sometimes feel like I've seen this film more commonly in the time since Robin's death, than when he was still living.
What a banger! Looking forward to seeing you watch the new movies too - I didn’t expect them to live up to the original, but they’re actually a lot of fun.
My other Robin Williams must-watch childhood classics are Hook and Mrs Doubtfire, but my all-time favourite film with him (in a completely different kind of role) is Good Will Hunting. I think you’d love it!
While I love this movie my favorite Robin Williams’ movies are Mrs. Doubtfire and The Birdcage though he has performed a lot of amazing roles.
The Birdcage is a gem!!!! Hilarious! Some of Robin's best work 🔥
My favourite Jumanji movie is Zathura.
It was the first pseudo-sequel, and is the same style of game…just about space, instead of the jungle.
One of my favorite movies of all time
Yes the actor playing Alan's dad also plays the hunter and it's because it's Alan's fear that the games version of the hunter resembles his father his greatest fear in Alan's eyes he thinks his father is disappointed with him. Also Kirsten Dunst plays the sister in the movie and later plays Mary Jane in the Spiderman movies.
Supposedly when I was 4 after my mum told me off for something,I told my mum and dad I was leaving and going to my nana's house "gran" then put my p.js in a carrier bag, they said they were laughing and even gave me the 15 pence for a bus,I walked to the bus stop, when the bus came I said to the driver can you tell me when you get to my nana's house 😂
I've always wondered what would happen if one combined the Jumanji board game with the Ouija board and used both simultaneously or combined them somehow to make a Jumanji Ouija board game.
oh you asking the biggest robin movie fan boy here, Ms DoubtFire, Good Will Hunting,Patch Adams, bicentennial man, good morning Vietnam
Definitely Mrs. Doubtfire
that shirt is absolutely WICKED, mate.
The board game can only be heard by potential players. In other words, Thouse who seek to find a way to leave there world behind. Alan was going to run away because he was a parish and tired of having to live up to his family name, his girl was tired of her life being controlled by that boy who thinks he's her boyfriend amd bullies everyone from being her friends because she belongs to him. And clearly the other two miss there parents
"You Teen Wolf lookin ass."😂
I love your channel! All of your references crack me up and make me nostalgic. Thanks for all you do.
They may be cheesy but the practical effects are fantastic in this movie❤
There’s Mrs. Doubtfire🥰. Love that movie
So Jumanji will allow children/young adults to find it and adults can play it if it is introduced to them by a child. The game will certainly make you suffer but it's a challenge of sorts, teaching you lessons along the way.
Thus far it has shown to always take one person first and this person is almost always the one who finds it or needs it most. This person will guide the others who play (like how Allan, having been stuck in the jungle for 26 years knew what everything was and how to combat or avoid it). Death is a real possibility. Pretty much you learn the lessons and survive or you die. Even if you do learn your lesson if another player hasn't you can still die.
It's sentient ancient magic and it is not the only one of its kind (there is a movie called Zathura which is basically Jumanji in space and it's an unofficial sister to this film taking place in the same universe. Also worth a watch).
Van Pelt looks like his dad because his dad was someone he feared, respected and yearned to make proud. The game knows this and used it. However Van Pelt is a character of Jumanji and changes depending on what Jumanji needs but he is always an antagonist. It's similiar to how in Peter Pan, Hook is always played by the same person who plays Wendy's dad.
Robin Williams movies I'd recommend-
Dead Poets Society
Bicentennial Man
Mrs.Doubtfire
Hook (if you haven't seen the 2000s version of Peter Pan I'd watch that too since Hook is a sequel to Peter Pan and that version of the movie is the best).
I was disappointed in the newer Jumanjis. The kids were turned into adult avatars and you don’t get the comedy of wild animals animals running havoc in your town. I would definitely watch Hook. If you can, please watch weird musical, The Little Shop of Horrors about a mean bloodsucking plant, kind of like the one in this movie. It has Rick Moranis and Steve Martin. There are actually two endings to this movie, the nice one and the apocalyptic one.
"Hook" is a great Robin Williams movie :)
Good Morning Vietnam, got to be a watch. Especially if you never seen it.
14:19 It's you Major!!!
Insomnia, is amazing with Robin Williams
We need a prequel with the kids from the 1800s playing and an origin story of how the game was created
Please watch Robin Williams in The World According To Garp (1982), also starring Glenn Close & John Lithgow.
Hey major fam ❤
"Good Morning Vietnam"
While sadly no Robin Williams but definitely check out the 2 newer Jumanji movies, especially before they come out with the newest one
A great Robin Williams movie is Mrs. Doubtfire.
You really can't go wrong with any Robin Williams movies
That's funny you said "some Peter parkers" when the spiders came out and the Lil girl in the movie plays Mary jane
Very good movie
Robin William's needs to be in this channel films:
- Good Will Hunting
- Hook
- The Birdcage
- Mrs Doubtfire
- Bicentennial Man
- Good Morning Vietnam
Let's go Major! Killing it as usual
Yasssss... Jumanji, Honey We Shrunk Ourselves, Flubber, Bebe Kids, House party, See Spot Run..these were definitely classics of the childhood
It's hard to go wrong with Robin Williams movies. My favorite are: The World According to Garp (1982), Moscow on the Hudson (1984), Good Morning Vietnam (1987), Awakenings (1990), The Fisher King (1991), Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), The Birdcage (1996), Good Will Hunting (1997), One Hour Photo (2002), Insomnia (2002).
Definitely 'Good Morning Vietnam'. Great movie.
JACK!! Such an amazing film with him
Awesome reaction, can you please watch a movie called THE BIG YEAR.
Jack is a great movie with robin Williams
I was coming to say the same
jumanji on deez nutz
Hook. Mrs doubtfire. Aladdin. Also less of a comedy one is Good Will Hunting, a totally different aspect of Robins acting skills!
Who wants to play again
“What Dreams May Come, “Hook”, “One Hour Photo” and “Mrs Doubtfire” ….Should all be on your channel eventually. 🔥🔥👍
oooooh the two new jumanis are fuckin hilarious i cant wait!!!
Dead Poets Society!!
Please do HOOK
Can't wait to see you react to the other two. My personal fave with Robin Williams is Good Will Hunting.
Mrs doubtfire, Aladdin, fern gully!
Rip
Robin Williams 1951-2014
James Horner 1953-2015
Bill Paxton 1955-2017
Sean Connery 1930-2020
Kirstie Alley 1951-2022
and Robert Dalva 1942-2023
Scarlet Johansson auditioned for this movie. If you wanna go down the Robin Williams rabbit hole, put Insomnia on you're list. You'll see a side to the man you never would've believed existed. It was the movie Christopher Nolan made before Batman Begins, too.
You need to see Flubber!!! It’s one of the BEST Robin Williams movies since I was a little kid! 🥹 so funny and SO weird lmao
You had me at Robin Williams. Definitely check out Good Will Hunting and Mrs. Doubtfire if you feel like seeing more of his stuff.
This was my favorite movie when i was a kid. I had the board game and everything lol 💜
He also plays on Rickie Rich with Macaulay Culkin
Any Robin Williams movies is a classic all the way back to Mork and Mindy 😂
Mrs. Doubtfire and Hook are two of my favorite Robin Williams movies.
Mean while that lion just chillin eating ice cream watching the price is right
I’m glad you enjoyed this and had such fun and a great laugh. It truly was a great film of the 90’s for kids. I laughed and teared a little when you mentioned your son in the end (damn hormones) as I know that’s going to be me soon in a few months hearing out for my own son’s cries. I can’t wait. I hope your boy becomes an avid watcher of great films like his dad. :) I know mine will, I’ll definitely be raising him with awesome films of every decade and the greatness of Robin Williams work just like my parents did with me. When it comes to childhood films; this one with Robin Williams comes in second after Hook;
Hook is my number one favorite with him. I bawled like a baby when he died and said he will always and forever be my Peter Pan. I hope you give that one a chance, if not to react but to just watch for your own enjoyment. Soundtrack is done by John Williams and I always shed a tear listening to it, as the man is a genius in invoking the emotion of childish innocence and adventure in the music. Bangerang! Haha also besides that one, What dreams may come is a beautiful choice, there’s also a funny one that doesn’t get mentioned often, Death to Smoochy. The Fisher King, him and Jeff bridges are amazing in that one. The Birdcage and Bicentennial Man. There’s more but hope those sound intriguing. Til next time!
I ain't complaining about seeing a reaction to Jumanji, it's just one of those films for me that stayed with me overtime because of how fun and also cool in concept it was
I love the slow Rhino 😂
that's my spirit animal.
Thanks alot for doing the original first. Many do the new one first. I think this is the way to do it, start with the original, and a great celebration to Robin. R.I.P
Good Morning Vietnam Robin Williams movie is awesome so much into it
Some of Robin Williams' must sees
Good Morning Vietnam
Good Will Hunting
Mrs. Doubtfire
Dead Poet's Society
Patch Adams
Blubber
Damn carls car looks like when i steal a cop car in gta 😂
Look this Jumangi is 10x better than the new ones and a great great Robin Williams movie is Good Morning Vietnam
Good Will Hunting !!
Mojojojo and mufasa got me chuckling bro 😂😂
I saw this as a kid at the movies with my family. Could NOT convince my 5 y/o little brother to play any board games with me for a long time!!! 😂
Man you gotta watch breaking bad. You would love it.
gotta do 'Good Will Hunting' !!! matt damon and ben affleck are also in it!
You know this will be a heart felt drama cause robin williams has a beard
Major, Jumanji has a 2005 sequel ZATHURA A SPACE ADVENTURE.
