Looking forward to your next show. I have a few suggestions for questions that I think are very relevant for predator callers today new and old.
    1) what is the best set up suggestion for a SOLO coyote caller as far as where he should stand, e-caller placement?
    2) same question as above but best set up advice when hunting with a partner.
    3) how much walking into a stand is too much walking into a stand? I have a couple places I need to walk 800 yards into my ideal location. Can’t use a side by side, really no way to drive back. Is that just a bad idea?
    4) how close by / how far away should the e-caller be to the solo shooter? To the team shooters? And I assume the caller should always be placed upwind of the shooters but generally what are their thoughts on this?
    5) what night time seems to be there most productive? If they could only hunt from 8pm-10pm, or 10pm-midnight, or midnight to 2am...what would they choose?
    6) how long do they generally call for until they leave? 15 minutes ? An hour?
    7) are they scanning with thermal as they walk in? (Which slows down getting to your spot) or are they just doing a preliminary scan at truck and then getting to their location as fast as possible to start scanning and calling?
    8) last q lol. If calling with a partner how close should you be together AND what is the best way to communicate with each other as a coyote is spotted? Is there some advice on best practices in this situation???
    Thanks.

So I have a question. We’ve been hunting a couple of sets in Michigan in our area and will use a challenge call which gets a response sometimes more than one response. The main problem we have is (and we are totally wind direction conscious) the coyotes will not leave the woods to come out to the call. We are in camo and use cover to hide our silhouettes. It’s frustrating to hear them so close yet see nothing. How do you get them out of the woods??

Just my 2 cents. Could be a few things. Could they see you set up? Park the vehicle? Are they called to by anyone else? Maybe overhunted. Smart dogs. I’ve had the same issue at times, if I know they are in the area I’ll spend a little more time on stand and try using pup sounds or fights, or just cycle through the options to try and make it work.
      But sometimes they just win.
I do find that hunting at night I get way better commitment out of the dogs. Coming into the call.
      Good luck 👍

Try moving closer with coyote sounds. Makes them think an unfamiliar dog is coming into their territory. So if you call 500yds away and they respond into the woods but won’t come, move 150 yds closer and call again.

New research (2019) estimated a deer 297 million olfactory receptors, a human has 5 million, German Shepard estimated to have 200 million, coyotes are "believed" to have a little bit better sense of smell, estimated 220 million.
