Best thing to do with a charismatic worker that may not be fluent in English, let's him show off his charisma and intensity in his native language.
It's so brilliant. Andrade needs it as well. Would make his promos alot more believable.

The real genius about it is Alex Abrahantes in my opinion. He could do a dull translation, no emotion and it would die a thousand times. His delivery is perfect and full of the same attitude.

Luther trying to put his hands in Orange's pockets while screeching "Pockets!" is good story telling in the ring and funny as all hell. 😂

and in reality Penta spoke pretty clean english towards the end of that promo, but yes, Alex fits perfectly as translator/hype man.
Imagine Angelico turning face and all the fans do the "Angelico-Dance" during the entrance. I can see it.
Angelico and Hobbs are two big examples of AEW having a cast that can play Face or Heel with minor adjustments. It's great stuff long term.

So much fun seeing aew full crowds back. The shows are just so much fun and the crowd acts more like they're at a large party than a wrestling show.

I was there, great show, but we were the for 6 hours of wrestling, I was burnt out by this main event, keep in mind this was all filmed AFTER dynamite....
What was once a norm is now a treat!
There was def a feeling of camaraderie in the crowd. I was a part of it and it was incredible to be with so many people who came out to witness something we love and enjoy. From chanting together, rooting on all the stars, and all the boos and cheers....it was a thrill!

JD Drake is awesome. Reminds me of a no nonsense 80’s wrestler. Also Cesar B has all the skills and athleticism to be special.
I wasn't too hot on the Wingmen at first cause it seemed like a mish mash of miscellaneous talent but holy shit have they grown on me. They're awesome.
The wingmen are a great faction. Sucks that they're booked to lose every match.

@@mr.scratch2536 agree. they have this unique and unconventional it factor that shouldn't work but for some reason it does. you have jd drake who is a callback to the wrestlers of the 80s with a no-nonsense style that feels fresh. in cesar bononi, a brazilian who has the look and size of a big man but with some charisma. ryan nemeth is a bit like his brother but he is better on the mic and seems to have a bit more personality. and then you have pretty peter avalon who is a solid wrestler, can work on the mic, and has a lot of personality. this is a faction i can get behind on instead of QT marshall who doesn't really much of a personality. a good wrestler and a great trainer but not that interesting to watch.

Will Hobbs has always been good with promos, has a good look and executes his in ring moves with precision and effectiveness. They're going to likely keep him with Taz looking strong till he can get a shot at the TV title. He's the only guy who can legit take the title off Miro and have it be a clean match besides someone like Cage and they are building up to Hobbs vs Cage apparently.

If they wanna elevate him by putting him in a feud between 2 legends to get him exposure before golding him up it would be smart.
He's over with the AEW crowd but they want a ratings spike for title changes naturally.

That Shida/Dulce match was brutal. Dulce is clearly very green, and I'm sure that is part of the issue, but it wasn't the entire problem. They were clearly not on the same page at all. Either they weren't able to communicate with one another, or they weren't fully cooperating with one another. Something broke down between them.
I think they had a great game plan but it was wayyyy tooooo sloooowwww. The joshis and the jobbers just aren't having good matches.

Also...in just her last 3 matches Julia Hart has really stepped up her game in the ring. She is still a little green, but has really been showing great promise. Can't wait to see more of what she's capable of.

Him, Penta, and Eddie were so generous with their time after the match and when they wrapped up the final words. They were making rounds and giving high fives, fist bumps, and taking selfies with fans. I got to high five Penta at the start and Alex at the end, it was awesome!

Turns out Tony Khan is the genius that everyone thought Vince McMahon was. AEW is the most consistently entertaining pro wrestling I've ever watched. This has got some real momentum behind it and the future is bright.

When JB, Darby, OC or Sammy win that belt, it will be an ovation for the ages. The pop is gonna be crazy. Which means AEW has done WONDERFULLY at building their stars
