awwww the puppy spa day made me so happy. also, i'd like to say thank you because watching your videos really really helps my anxiety. i have EDS, POTS, IBS, GERD, and some other things, but i'm always so terrified of having symptoms in public, to the point where i rarely go out. but watching your videos makes me think "well, if she can go out with symptoms ten times worse than me, then i can definitely do it too!". so thank you! :)
Jaq, you life saver! You linked the brush 💖 I have a sheltie and his shedding is ridiculous with his winter coat 😭 It's EVERYWHERE. This will save me until he gets in to the groomer. 💖
One way to help even out the top of your dog’s foot is to use thinning shears on those hairs between the toes on top. It helps prevent the “choppy” look. It also makes it easier to get that even rounded look. That’s a tip from the breeder when I got my Pyr puppy. She got some compliments from judges in the show ring for the way the feet were groomed FWIW
If you don't care too much about being all even you can even use chunkers. Chunkers are the medium between scissors and thinning shears. It cuts more than thinning sheers so takes less cutting but it still gives a softer look than scissors. groomwise.typepad.com/grooming_smarter/2014/05/thinners-blenders-and-chunkers-oh-my.html More specifics can be seen here.
If u want a good golden foot u brush the hair up on the toes then cut those fluffys off and then go around the foot they look good just the way u 2 did it freeked me out
Finally caught up. I feel horrible during the times when I can't at least support the community with even a simple "view". Simple things are sometimes perplexingly difficult. So glad to see unwavering forward progress on all of your challenges. You continue to inspire.
Harlow listens to Janice so well! I've got a very short haired dog so the trimming isn't an issue for us, does trimming the toe fur help keep her neater and prevent tracking in dirt as much?
I have the same brush as janice my pup loves it its only 4 dollars at Wal-Mart also. Omg watching them play with the big ball gave me anxiety lol thought the tree wasn't gonna make it
People are recommending you use a Furminatort but just know an undercoat rake like what Janiece is using won't damage or break coat the way a Furminator might. The BEST way to get rid of all the hair though is using a High-Velocity Dryer. If you've ever watched a video of someone using one on a dog that is blowing coat you will see that it makes a snowstorm of hair! They won't damage her coat and if you worry about the air getting in her ears you can but a Happy Hoody on her to protect her ears.
It was cool to see that you both put up your Vlogs within 15 minutes of each other how exciting. Have you ever heard of the Furminator that's supposed to be a really cool brush for dogs like yours. Thanks for taking me on the adventure it's great to see you guys just hanging out together bickering in your loving way see you next time
Aw Harlow is so good with grooming! I wish my pup would let me do his paws without struggling! If you even go near them he freaks out. He’s too expensive to be groomed at the groomer because his poodle coat is harder to manage, so we have to do it ourselves and it’s a nightmare haha the only plus about his fur is the lack of shedding.
I love your vids I haven’t been keeping track on your video because of school but today I saw you made a video and I watched it and I love it I’m happy that I finally eat to watch your videos!! Love you guys❤️!
Chronically Amy just subbed to your channel. I am chronically ill to so it really helps me to realise that I am not the only as my family just says that I am lazy or just a waste of space they even say that I lie about how much pain I am in even though they have been to the hospital with me and they have tried to tell my parents that I am not making it up nor am I lazy it's cause of my health problems that make me really tired and in chronic pain but if the hospital can't change they mind they I won't be able to. But cause of my parents not believing me about my health problems I feel alone but finding people on here that suffer with health problems helps me to feel less alone about it all.
Brush the paw fur up with a comb or a slicker brush and then clip with the scissors facing upwards on the leg. Clip to the length of the rest of the paw. You will get a much cleaner look and get the hair trimmed much more than clipping downwards. Also thinning shears help. 🤗
If you worry about your dog ingesting their ball you can get one of these! shop.goughnuts.com/product.sc;jsessionid=4D8EA445800087D7140596DB58E25F04.p3plqscsfapp005?productId=18&categoryId=1 shop.goughnuts.com/product.sc;jsessionid=4D8EA445800087D7140596DB58E25F04.p3plqscsfapp005?productId=45&categoryId=1 These if you need them stronger. www.goughnuts.com/technical-page.html This is their page on how their toy works.
The brush you use for Harlow everyday actually damages her coat because it can hurt the guard hairs that why I only use a rake brush on my dogs or a blower it makes a big difference
Hi chronically jaquie. For the past two years I have been struggling through this world, with multiple chronic illnesses and a whole lot of pain. And a whole lot of mental health stuff. I am still young so I live with parents. I am in desperate need of help, explaining myself with all this and have struggled many times trying to do it myself, because I need help! Sending love and energy! Thank you
Anna Buddy Prayers and Blessings to you! 👼 Hang in there. As time goes on your Drs. can find meds. that work better for you. Even allergies they didn't realize at first. It can get better. GOD Bless you!!! 💞. 🙏
I use a furminator on my australian shepherd once a month ish, but I usually use an undercoat rake from the brand OSTER and its AMAZING! I have year round allergies and it really helps a lot. The dogs look so fancy with their round little pawsies
The furminator on chewy.com expensive but well well well worth the money. I thought I had used all the brushes there ever was because I was a groomer but our trainer told us about the furminator and hands down the best. For the paws brush the fur on top of paw backwards and then it will trim evenly. Y'all did a great job on the grooming!!!! 😊 keep up the great work.
Did she say in another video that Janice had vlogs too for the raw diet? I really wish they posted more of the raw diet! I want to hear how Janice got started with it and how old Orion was.. I'm getting a golden in a week and a half and I want to start her on it (she will be 8 weeks) and I'll be training her to be a service dog as well.
So adorable, the brush she has is used for furms (removing undercoat fur) just be careful with it because the teeth can cut them or irritate skin if used to much, or you brush to hard.
If you use a slicker brush to brush up the hair on the foot then you can shape the foot it gets the hair from between the toes. I love the rake it’s the best ever you both look after your dogs so well. Love your videos 🙂
My cats love to be groomed. When I get the brush out they come running and just rub against it lol 😻 I am feeling discouraged because I didn't do anything yesterday because I felt worse and worse as they day went on. Trying to convince myself to get up and do things today.
You mean besides the hundreds of professional groomers I know, competitive groomers, people doing competitive dog shows, dog breeders, etc? I also own one and only use it on my smooth-haired Mini Dachshund because it damages thw hair of my own double coated dog I origionally bought it for before I knew an of this. It's the same reason you have to be careful when you use a stripping knife on a wirehaired dog. It's a razor with teeth that can cut and damage the coat.
I've seen many people with Huskies use it that doesn't mean it's the best option. I also know many Husky owners who would never consider using one. For a Husky the best thing you could use would be a High-Velocity Dryer and blow all their loose undercoat out. You could do something even better and use an undercoat rake, a greyhound comb, and a high-velocity dryer and you should have all of your bases covered and it will allow you to do more detailed work.

Harlow is awesome, you are very lucky to have such a smart, but silly dog.
She is truly a wonderful dog!

I literally just finished Janiece's video when you uploaded. Such cute puppos!
Ahh, Harlow's Spa Day! Made me relax. Lol. Glad you're feeling better, Sweetie. Take care of that hip! Hope the Toradol injection works well for you!
Thank you (:
Chronically Jaquie So much love to you! ❤
CrystalSaysSo ™ you nice nice
Jaq, you life saver! You linked the brush 💖 I have a sheltie and his shedding is ridiculous with his winter coat 😭 It's EVERYWHERE. This will save me until he gets in to the groomer. 💖
Sammi Jayy We had two Sheltie’s when I was growing up. They’re such amazing doggies 💙💙💙.

A day of pampering for Harlow... 💖That brush looks awesome!
Loved the giant tennis ball! Our Great Dane loves running around the pasture with the horses' jolly ball and it's hilarious.
Tip from a dog groomer and owner of golden; use curved shears or thinning shears on feet! There are some cheap options out there!
Awww your doggy is so cute!!!
And THIS is why my service pupper will be an F1B Labradoodle XD My year round shedding Chihuahua is more than enough.
The FURMINATOR is an amazing dog brush/deshedding tool!! :)
tree star the furminator is not a good tool. It wrecks the dogs hair by the follicle. Though it does work well
i never realized this do you have any more information? i've had a furminator for 1yr
Oh my goodness that tennis ball is as a big as bowling ball! Pretty funny to watch the pups try to pick it up.
So cool to have a best friend to chill with all day!
This was cool to see how you both groom the dogs, Really fun to watch!
Furminators are the best dog brushes out there! Completely worth their cost. I get a football sized hair ball off of my cat.
Harlow? More like Hair-low haha
+hufflewolf this honestly made me laugh 😅
Chronically Jaquie I'm glad, because it is probably the worst pun I have ever made 😁
OH MY GOODNESS😂😂😂
hufflewolf Actually pretty clever! Also made Jackie laugh! I thought it was funny too!
How often do you wash Harlow and may I just say I love your videos they make my days better
Just whenever she needs it (:
Wow Janiece, the dogs look so amazing after your grooming regime! You are such a pro! 💕🐶
Harlow listens to Janice so well! I've got a very short haired dog so the trimming isn't an issue for us, does trimming the toe fur help keep her neater and prevent tracking in dirt as much?
If they have longer hair on their paw pads yes. Example: the hair grows past the paw pads.
Ohhh the undercoat rake is amazing for shedding goldens!!! Especially if you go against the grain. Amazing how much comes out!
I remember a few months ago when u were at 84k and now you’re at 94k! Road to 100k!
I have the same brush as janice my pup loves it its only 4 dollars at Wal-Mart also. Omg watching them play with the big ball gave me anxiety lol thought the tree wasn't gonna make it

try the furminator they can be a pretty penny, but ive taking enough off of dogs to make sweaters
Man my dog sheds 3 times that. Hes a husky, lab, shepherd mix
Omg Harlow is so cute

Harlow sheds more than me! (That is really saying something...)
There is this grooming glove that is also a brush and it works wonders :)
I love your vids I haven’t been keeping track on your video because of school but today I saw you made a video and I watched it and I love it I’m happy that I finally eat to watch your videos!! Love you guys❤️!

Aw! the dogs are so cute! i'm so glad you are feeling better! you are awesome!
Undercoat rake and the Furminator. Best brushes ever.
Very lovely dog!!!😍😍❤️
The more I watch Harlow the more I want to adopt a dog.
You guys should try the furminator. Gets so much hair off the dogs in such a short amount of time
I use a furminator on my australian shepherd once a month ish, but I usually use an undercoat rake from the brand OSTER and its AMAZING! I have year round allergies and it really helps a lot. The dogs look so fancy with their round little pawsies
Janice should open up a dog grooming barber thing
Undercoat rakes are awesome!

Read the title and thought you're grooming a giant tennis ball?! Lol 😂
as a certified groomer, that is an " Undercoat Rake " Comb :)
Did she say in another video that Janice had vlogs too for the raw diet? I really wish they posted more of the raw diet! I want to hear how Janice got started with it and how old Orion was.. OMG I love Janees's shirt! OMG RICK AND MORTY
Aww!!! That's so cute!!
It looks good. Great job. Lady's . Aww aww
Beautiful dogs💜I love Golden retrievers ♥️
Ahhhh Harlow!! Does her fur not set off your triggers or do you just use Benadryl?
If you use a slicker brush to brush up the hair on the foot then you can shape the foot it gets the hair from between the toes. I love the rake it’s the best ever you both look after your dogs so well. Love your videos 🙂

I'm surprised that they did not knock down the Christmas tree
Good afternoon, hope Orlando weather is to your advantage. Love y'all!!
What is that name of the sushi place you where going to go too. I'm moving in may down there. And I will need a good sushi place
You think that's a lot of hair, you should see how much a Bernese Mountain Dogs shed 😄
Hey Jaquie I love your videos and I am glad you r getting better
I have both brushes(or similar) and I definitely like the blue and white comb type brush better.
I have a client that has a golden retriever puppy and it sheds like crazy. Hair everywhere all the time. Did I mention I own a maid service LOL
Try the Furminator for Harlow. It's the best brush on the market. It's expensive but really works!
Unlike a Furminator an undercoat rake won't cause coat damage and break her coat.
Brandi *click* Bear! The Furminator causes coat damage? Where did you hear that?
You mean besides the hundreds of professional groomers I know, competitive groomers, people doing competitive dog shows, dog breeders, etc? I also own one and only use it on my smooth-haired Mini Dachshund because it damages thw hair of my own double coated dog I origionally bought it for before I knew an of this.
It's the same reason you have to be careful when you use a stripping knife on a wirehaired dog. It's a razor with teeth that can cut and damage the coat.

I live in Pittsburgh and they want to get a service that labrador
9:38 You remind me of Rev Bem from Andromeda, when he was starving.
Isn't a trimmer safer to use?
are your dogs brother and sister they look like it.
Happy your feeling better Harlow is such a good girl and o Ryan is a good boy enjoy your week 😍😍😍😍😍
I was wondering today about service dog training the people that work with them to teach the dogs do they get pay for it or is it voluntary work?

Hi Jacquie, been a while.. as a groomer I recommend using these clippers and sheers on Harlow. it will help make things easier.
they are both in amazon.. I groom my Molly every other week and bath her once a week. Although she is not too stinky I like her to be clean and brushed every day since she is a Cockapoo. Your friend Patty
When you get the new dog brush can you link it for us?
Y'all made like two more dogs out of their fur just by brushing them. 😂
🐕🐕I love your show
Could you talk about fentanol ^^ and also its good to see you do better!
As I replied to your comment yesterday, Fentanyl is a narcotic and it is not a treatment option for me. I did receive it in my sedation cocktail for my tube exchange but that is a one time thing to help with pain/sedation for the procedure. I usually do not receive it, it was just a drug of choice for that particular anesthesiologist.
Chronically Jaquie fentanyl is usually the drug they use when they intubate me. I've been intubated 9 times, and half of those was a fentynal drip and the other was propofol. I prefer the latter of the two because there is no withdrawal.
saara fentanyl is a narcotic. they use it for a lot of things.
one of those things is for pain management for cancer patients or patients with chronic extreme pain.
i wear a fentanyl patch. these patches come in various doses from 15mcgs an hour to much much larger doses. i am currently on a very small dose of 25mcgs per hour. this just takes the edge off but allows me to continue to function as a normal human (no motility issues, no constipation, no high feeling, no grogginess, etc).
without my patch i can’t sit up or stand without being in so much pain my body goes in to shock and i start vomiting almost instantly. i used to think that was just an exaggeration...until it happened to me.
with the patch i can get up and go to work and work a full time job. i still have awful pain every single day... but i’m a fighter and i can at least keep my head out of the toilet for the most part. i am on a nausea patch to help as well.
the fentanyl patches are generally something you switch out every three days but my body does absorb it more quickly so i have to switch them out every 48 hours instead of 72.
How do I get a service good can you help me
have you ever had sushi/raw fish? I'm curious how your stomach would handle it
You guys are good groomers!
At least your dogs hair isn't the matted kind and when you got her back from the groomers she looked like an x-mas puppy present... Needles to say she's adorable and hates all the attention. My other dog is also adorable. More so because he hates the attention. xD
I have that Rick and Morty shirt too 💚🖤💚🖤💚
Hi harlow⚾️💞💝
You shouldn't cut the hair on the bottom pads. That hair is there to protect their pads against the elements and things like hot pavement.
+Hippie Peace As service dogs, they needs their pads trimmed. Otherwise they slide all over the place when out working. As for hot pavement (and other elements) we have gear for that. Boots, paw wax, etc. I'm not able to go out in the heat, so Har doesn't walk on hot pavement often. But even if she did, it's so hot here in FL that boots are really the only way to protect them from the hot ground. The fur on their pads would not be enough. We do leave a bit of fur though, as we were not using a ten blade.
I knew you'd be prepared :)
Tomorrow is my bday, if I could PLEASE get a shoutout? I’m sami
