Yeah but he didn't even explain how to put the electrical tape on the camera. I have one piece of electrical tape that is over 300' feet long, which seems like overkill. If there is a way to get this to be smaller, a follow-up video would be appreciated.

My kids got me one for Christmas in a kit along with the doorbell camera. My intent was to place it inside and facing out a window at the back deck. There is even a setting for looking out a window. The problem is that blue light reflects off the window glass and ruins the image. I spent an hour trying to turn it off in the settings. I guess I'm getting out the black tape!

Yes. I have done this. Is does not record well during the nights. So you have to concider iff this is an option for you.
The blue light is verry annoying.

Lol exactly. Looks like it has flash on. So annoying. It goes off when its not on live view. Very weird there isn't an option to turn it off.

Wanting to turn the light off is so obvious and would be so easy that I'm sure there must be a reason Ring doesn't give us that feature. I'm guessing there are regulatory reasons but would love if somebody knows for sure and can share.
