Everyone respects Danny, he's definitely one of the pioneers of big air. However, many skaters think they could smash these records if they had the resources and access to Ramps of this caliber like Danny. It's inevitable that the younger generation will out class old records with ease in the future. Danny Way is the beat; however, landing on a step-up might undermine the effort. Not saying it is not rad, just saying he did not come down on the same ramp.
Mega corps are progressing the sport. If your not a pro and your just skating street spots for no reason, it’s consider illegal or grass passing and distraction of property. Knowing the rules and breaking them, your a criminal. A lot of skaters are criminals. Not all but most. Mega corps have access to permits, etc. decriminalizing the sport. @@alexscott6068 The very foundation of street skating is built on breaking rules. Danny Way is a beast and always has been. Much respect for sure; however, if he is landing on the step-up extension part of the landing ramp, sould the height of extension be subtracted from the overall height...Imagine someone builds a million dollar quarter pipe that launches them 40 feet high to land on a step-up vert ramp...kind of like how bmx riders launch onto the sides of buildings.
