2011 Hyundai Sonata Cannot Remove Key - The REAL Solution

If you cannot turn the ignition key of your Hyundai Sonata to the LOCK position and remove the key, try this. I found that the plastic slot for the PARK position of the gear selector on the shift lever prevents the button from returning fully to the top. Watch this vid for a demonstration. Use a Dremel tool grinding bit to remove a little plastic material from the forward / front side of that slot.
