The only negative about this build is exhaust placement…dumping by the tire?…Ask Cleetus how that goes with burnouts…🔥🔥🔥🔥….Other that that SOLID build boys can’t wait to see it shred tires!

U just gotta lower the tire pressure then crank the straps tight and then fill the tires back up. That helps to keep from spinning the tires.

You need to weld a steel plate to protect the body as a wheel well. Don't let the popped tire ruin the body,
If you run straps over the lower control arms and back down it'll put more weight on the tires and when they grow they will get even tighter

Graph MPH vs RPM to see if you are getting spin. On the dyno try to use tie downs on the chassis and not the suspension of tire spin is an issue. I’ve even lower tire pressure, tightened the straps then added air back. It could also be converter flash. Great build gents.

Dude, y’all could use a hub dyno for sure especially with these high horsepower vehicles. It would completely eliminate the possibility of slipping tires/alignment issues and give super consistent numbers that way. Plus you could move it around the shop easily if needed. Idk, just a thought. Keep up the good work!

Just had a thought while watching this video, from the factory I believe these engines came with two keys, one for higher hp and one for lower. Is this setup still running the factory engine management system? Should be a black key and a red key. Was just wondering awesome video guys keep it up.

@16:51 frame forward and you'll see that the rear wheels bounced off the ramp-side of the last driveway rut causing the front suspension to bottom out and basicly faceplant the truck into the bottom of the ramp
